Im 22 years old lady. I hav a prblm of irregular periods since my mensuration started. I consulted many doctors nd some told hormones imbalance some told its pcod nd its not a big prblm. But my prblm is still not solved. It takes 2 to 4 months to get periods. Is it a prblm in future wen I get married nd pregnant. Nd wen I get periods it is normal as regular. You have irregular periods. I advise you to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Avoid garlic and red chilly at home and avoid non veg and eggs. Do meditation for mental strength. Keep your weight normal. This will definitely help you in your problem.

Sir please understand my fearful situation. Dear lybrate-user ji, It is negligible chances to get about pregnancy without intercourse & without prone period (period from 7th to 21 days of starting the cycle). So please don’t get bothered about pregnancy. Some times menses delayed without any obvious causes. To regulate it use- RAJAPRAVARTANI BATI 2-2-2 + Sy Eve-care 15 ml, three times a day, it will regulate your menses & good for general fitness.

Tips for a Healthy and Safe Holi

The festival of colours is here. Along with fond memories of Gulal, rain dancing, pichkaris and bhang, if you have repeated nightmares of skin and eye allergies or other serious problems due to the colours, this article’s for you.

Why you need to avoid synthetic colours

Recent studies have found safety issues with all three forms in which the Holi colors are produced: pastes, dry colours and water colours. The various ingredients found in synthetic colours like lead oxide (black), mercury sulphide (red), aluminium bromide (silver), copper sulphate (green), Prussian blue have been known to cause various health problems ranging from dermatitis (skin becoming red and blotchy), eye allergies, skin problems and even temporary blindness.

What kind of colours should you use?

Natural is best! Make the colours at home, like they used to in the good old days. Mix the following natural colour producing ingredients by making a paste and mixing with besan or gramflour:

  • henna, palak (green)
  • turmeric, marigold flowers (yellow)
  • red hibiscus flowers, tomatoes, beetroot, kumkum (red)
  • tea leaves (brown)
  • You can also buy organic/herbal colours to play safe this Holi.

Tips to protect your hair and skin from synthetic colours:

Hair: After playing Holi, you might have noticed that your hair becomes very dry, frizzy and brittle. To avoid this, Massage your hair well from scalp to hair tips with coconut, olive or castor oil. This oil gives your hair a protective covering and shields it from harmful chemicals, dust and dirt. This will help the colours come off easily later, Try and cover your hair with a bandana or cap to decrease contact with colours.

Skin: Wear clothes that cover a lot of your skin, Cover the skin on your face, arms, legs etc with copious amounts of olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil or mustard oil, Use a waterproof sunscreen (SPF 30 and above), Cover your lips with a thick coat of Vaseline or lip balm.

Other potential dangers of Holi:

  • If you are a known asthmatic or suffer from severe dust allergy, it is advisable not to venture out to play Holi with colours, especially the dry variety.
  • If you wear contact lenses, do remove them before going out to play holi. If someone is spraying coloured water on your face, close your eyes.
  • Bhang, the official drink for Holi, when consumed in large quantities can lead to effects like increased blood pressure and heart rate, psychosis. Never consume it on an empty stomach and do not mix it with alcohol.

eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and medicines will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

First thing stop using mouthwash because it give you temporary freshness and hide the clinical findings if it is there in mouth. It can be oral or extra oral /systemic in origin. Oral causes - cavities, poor oral hygiene, any removable or fixed artificial teeth causing food lodgement extra oral / systemic - various diseases have their specific type of smell it comes in diabetes, liver diseases, kidney problem.

Hello this condition is called ajirna and grahani in ayurveda. you should do following * don't take simple water, take luke warm water. * take ginger & turmeric before meal 30 min * take ajvayan & jeera 1 1 tsp after each meal. * use cow ghee in diet. * don't eat dry diet * avoid stress n anger * avoid day sleep * don't take modern medicine for long time you can start kutaj parpati tablet of dhootpapeshvar pharma for better solution & medication I need your detail history like appetite acidity bowel habits? diet lifestyle kind of work etc.

Dear lybrate user. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time.. 1) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods. 2) avoid late night sleeping habits 3) avoid coffee and tea. 4) avoid use of any hair oil, soap for 15-30 days a) take 30ml of audumbaravleha and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2-1 tablets of lakshyadi guggul and vasantkusumakar rasa along with audumbaravleha. C) take 2 tsf of flax seeds along with 2 tsf of jiggery after meals. D) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and aloe vera juice on the roots of hairs. Leave it for 30-45 minutes. After that wash hairs with rootz shampoo (rajah ayurveda) two times in a weeke) take 3 tsf of shatavari kalpa along with 250 ml of lukewarm milk early in the morning instead of breakfast do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective.

Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. I have just turned 46 a thyroid patient from 10-11 years sometimes having back pain but recently feeling very lethargic and one point pain in my both knees after doing my blood tests my blood sugar level is little high at random it was 196 and after a few years it is 164 now. Dear you can try walking and exercise. Have healthy diet. If it doesn't help much than you have to be on medication depending on your blood sugar levels. What is more important is to control your blood sugar without any side effects. All the best.

Dear Lybrate User Walking is best exercise for backache. Do back stretching exercise Stretching should be gentle, so stop any stretching exercise that causes pain. Sleeping on your back is best. Spending a few nights on the floor with a pillow underneath your feet can really help your back, even if it might be a little trickier to stay sound asleep. If you’re a side sleeper, putting a pillow between your knees can help by allowing your muscles to relax more. Make sure you take your time and schedule breaks when doing physical activity if your back hurts. Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Hi, apply hsl-jaborand (haslab) apply this concentrate to the hair roots and gently rub with finger tips. Do this twice a week. Wash after applying * tab scalptone (sbl) 4 tabs to be chewed twice a day 1/2 an hour after meals.
