These are some reasons for dark circles: * Lack of sleep * Stress * Lack of nutrition * Anaemia Follow these methods & instructions for dark circles : • Take 6 to 8 hrs sleep regularly . • Drink 8 glass of water daily. • Apply piece of cucumber on your both eyes . That has bleaching property. • Apply almond oil or you can apply capsule of vitamin E mix it in mosturiser or cream you have daily around the eye in night and massage it lightly daily . • Take a piece of potato and make it's juice by crush it apply its juice for 15 min daily . • Apply rose water daily for 10 min daily . • Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (haldi ) with one teaspoon of besan mix it with water and make paste apply it around eyes for 10 minutes and make it dry remove it . • Eat green leafy vegetables daily and fruits daily . Drink a glass of milk daily . • Do not take stress do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes .

You have dental sensitivity problem which can be due to - 1. Attrition or abrasion of teeth 2. Gum inflammation and recession 3. Cavities / dental caries consult in person for treatment.

I am a patient of PCOD. Have hair growth on chin. What should I do? I have already taken medication from Gynaecologist to balance the hormones but its not working out. Also I am putting on weight which I am trying to loose through work out. Pls advice if anything else can be done. On medication Diane35.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

I had actinomycosis two years back and took Mox 500x 3 or 500x6 per day as per instructions of doctor for about ten months. I am doing physical exercises as suggested by the doctor regularly. Now I want to know what precautions I should take to prevent recurrence of actinomycosis in future.

Preventive measure for actinomycosis - 1. Brush twice a day, floss daily, and take care to remove dental plaque as much as possible, in order to reduce the risk of infection around teeth. 2. Minimize the risk of getting bitten, which can be a source of transmitting the Actinomyces bacteria. If you do get a human bite, wash the wound, apply antibiotic ointment, and seek medical care. 3. Minimize oral contact with others, especially with strangers and known carriers.

Praanaayaam anulom and vilom shirshaasan shavasan. These are good yogasanaas which can help u. Walking daily for 30 minutes everyday will help. Eat light dinner before 7.30 in the evening. Drink a glass of warm milk with ghee before sleep. Have bath in night. You can do massage to your head and feet before sleeping. Do not watch tv or do not be on mobile or laptop after 8pm. Read spiritual books or positive thinking books before sleeping. Hearing soothening songs also relaxes your mind. Be positive and think positive. Socialize more. Make more friends.

1. Go for regular exercise and play some games 2. Find time for relaxation like watching tv/listening music etc. 3. Develop some new hobby like painting/reading/writing 4. Do yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotions and relieve stress 5. Avoid smoking/alcohol if you take 6. Sleep for 7-8 hours daily to remain healthy 7. Socialise with friends/relatives/family members 8. Take good nourishing diet, plenty of green leafy veg tables, fruits and drnk plenty of water 8. Avoid severe physical and mental exertion 9. Check your hemoglobin, bp and consult doctor for further advice.

1. Eat healthy – eat fruits, vegetables, and a high protein diet 2. Destress yourself. 3. Sleep for at least 6-8 hrs a day. 4. Have an oil massage at least twice a week with coconut oil or any oil of your choice. Condition your hair after shampooing . 5. Take tab adgain once daily after food for 15 days and revert.

DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods. 2) sleep upto 10.30 pm 3) avoid coffee and tea…. 4) avoid use of any hair oil, soap…for 15-30 days… A) take 30ml of AUDUMBARAVLEHA and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2-2 tablets of lakshyadi guggul with audumbaravleha…. C) take 2 tsf of FLAX SEEDS along with 2 tsf of jiggery and 2 tablets of LEELAVILAS RASA after meals…. D) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and aloe vera juice on the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda) two times in a week……E) take 3 tsf of SHATAVARI KALPA along with 250 ml of lukewarm milk early in the morning instead of breakfast…… do all things for 30 days. Include protein rich diet. Protein help in building muscles as well as burn body fat. Moderate amount of carbs should be taken after workout which can include sweet potato, brown rice, oatmeal. Eat healthy fat such as raw nuts, olive oil. By combining protein, good amount of green leafy vegetables with the good carbs and healthy fat, your body will turn into athletic body. Additionally, exercise your core muscles. Burn fat with cardio. Do sit ups, crunches, leg lifts.

Yes, there are signs that this is anger related but are you sure that you are not really afraid and get angry easily to cover up the fear? There may be a lot of unresolved anger and fear that is now impinging on your current life and is actually seeking a resolution. Meet with a counselor and talk these matters out and your will definitely have a more balanced approach to life?s many challenges. Check with your parents if there were any traumatic events while you were growing up and you will know whether they were resolved or not. In the meantime good vigorous exercise is very good for you. Get good sleep every night. Eat a good meal of whole grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables. You can also attend anger management workshops to learn some skills about responding in appropriate manner to these situations.

Hi doc, I have been diagnosed by 2 kidney stone left side one is 3.5 mm &5 mm. I hv severe pain in night while sleeping suddenly or while commuting to my offc through cab. Hi lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I would suggest to increase your water intake at a regular interval. It does happens when one take a lot of water and then have a gap for long. Avoid spinach, cucumber, milk products and milk, calcium tabs etc. Homoeopathy has a specific medicines for episodes you can ask your doc for same. Pay attention if you have fever, recurring pain within days, less urine output etc. Keep track of calculi by evaluating with usg.

Make sure that your scalp and hair are always clean. It will help your hair grow faster. Dirt clogs the hair follicles, which makes it more difficult for hair to grow. However, do not shampoo every day, as men’s hair get easily damaged, and excessive shampooing can dehydrate hair and cause breakage. Shampoo twice a week while cleanse hair with conditioner daily.

Hye, thanks for the query. Usually poor food intake, long gaps between meals or consequent hey meals at one go, stress can cause acidity and headache and weight loss. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well. Exercise at least thrice a week.
