I have dandruff problem and even after applying various shampoos I see no change. I also have dry scalp. I do not put oil and use tresseme shampoo. I have also tried dandruffs shampoo. I do not know what else to do. Its stics to the scalp which even leads to bleeding on scratching. Please help me sort it. I also have dark skin. Dear Lybrate User, *Dandruff is a common, non infectious skin disease of the scalp. It may be found even in face, ears, body folds, neck and front of the chest. It is caused due to faster shredding of the dead skin in the lesions. Thus the white dust gets seen on shoulders of the victim. *Ayurvedic treatments such as shirodhara, shirobasti helps not only to relieve dandruff and improve hair quality. They also help you to relieve stress and lack of sleep (which are also cause for dandruff). *As per Ayurveda, most of the skin diseases are related to blood impurities / Dosha imbalance in blood. If that is the cause, then medicine and treatments to treat impurity, then treatment for blood and liver detox *Consume more fluids, fresh fruit juice, avoid more tea, coffee, soft drink, dry, spicy, maida related junk foods. *Practice breathing exercise, yoga, meditation for detoxification.

Hye, Thanks for the query. For your age nutrition is essential for growth and development. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. Restricted diets, crash diets, skipping meals is all just going to further help gain weight. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Reduce your main meals by a small amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Exercise without a good diet will just cause muscle breakdown. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Hi apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with chandrika soap. Prepare a neem leaves mustard oil and apply on your skin. Avoid hot food & spicy food

I am losing a lot of hair since a month, my hair isn't growing, please help me with an appropriate solution.
Causes:: Genetic factors, family history, overall aging process, normal life variations including temporary severe stress, illness, nutritional changes, hormonal changes like those in pregnancy, puberty, and menopause may cause a reversible hair loss. 1. Chop some onions (pyaz) into fine pieces and squeeze out the juice. Apply this to hair and scalp and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it with shampoo. 2. Crush a few cloves of garlic (lehsun), add in a little coconut oil and boil for a few minutes. Cool it till it becomes warm and apply it on the scalp with a little massaging action. Repeat two to three times a week for best results. 3. Take coconut milk and add a little water to it. Apply this to the scalp and allow it to stay overnight. Rinse this the next morning. 4. Add two teaspoons of amla juice/ powder and mix with equal quantity of freshly squeezed lime juice. Mix well, apply to the scalp and leave it to dry; then rinse using warm water. 5. Take some flowers of rose (gulab) add some water to it and make a paste. Apply it on hair and keep it for an hour and then wash the hair.

HI. I am always try to get up at morning between 6-8 Am but I can't get up. Am going toh slip at 11 pm but am get up always 10-11 and whn I get up my body very painful. After 1 hours. What can I do. If you are sleeping early and get up late, it means your body needs extra sleep for rest. This could be due to low levels of energy in your body. Try to indulge in daily exercises and have 6 healthy meals throughout the day. This will improve energy levels in your body. As soon as you wake up eat something healthy that will kick your energy. Measure your temperature and tell me reading Avoid exertion Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc Get CBC checked and review with reports consult privately

Sir I am suffering from insomnia since last 2 weeks and tried many things but nothing did worked please tell me what should I do.

I can understand how disturbing an interuppted, inappropriate or disturbed sleep can affect your day to day life. In india it has been found 55% of patients are suffering from insomnia just because of stress, distractions and anxiety. So the best way to get rid from insomnia is to reduce the stress level. A physiotherapist can help you to give you the ways to relax your mind and give you comfort and stress full sleep. Consult some neurologist/neuropyschiatric and start taking medicine if it is due to some neurological discorder. And consult nearby physio who can make a perfect routine and daily life styl chart to make you relax so that you get an appropriate sleep. Please follow some points that will help you in such condition along with medical treatment: 1) use of ice packs over your eyes or frontal area for some time to give relaxation. 2) massage your head especially forehead area using levander oil or clove oil as it removes toxins from body 3) regular intake of healthy dietry food rich in proteins and vitamins. 4) avoid fasting - eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at fixed timings 5) make yourself busy by fulfilling your hobby as it will give you freshness and your mind will be diverted from normal life which help in pain reduction. 6) before sleeping time do some relaxation exercises. - sit on chair with both the hands placed on the pillow placed over thighs. - deep inhale from your nose, mouth should be closed. - hold your breath for the count of 5. - exhale completely from mouth making a loud sound. Continue to do this exercise for 10 times. Before going to bed make a habit of doing this daily. Modified technique of same exercise is while inhaling extend your arms, hold for 5 count and then exhale making your arms back in the rest position. 7) room modification while sleep - make sure room should be dark with no noise. Avoid sleeping immediately after dinner or food. Take a walk for 15 min and then come back, bed should be not too soft not too hard. 8) it is recommended to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. It is also a very good habit to start and finish your day by drinking a good glass of purifying water. 9) exerices like aerobics (running) can be done to make your muscles active. Many other ways are there in order to maintain your life stress free and active so that you can continue to sleep on time and it does affect your life. For more help or instructions please consult. If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. 1. Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2. Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat.. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3. Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why, talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. With depression, a person's creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Exercise your imagination (painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, writing, dancing, composing music, etc.) and you not only get those creative juices flowing, you also loosen up some positive emotions. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5. Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. I have low back pain for last 6 days or so. The pain concentrated on the l. S. Region, slightly over right sided s. I. Joint. There is no radiation through lower limbs or adjacent areas. Pain aggravates while bending forward. I tried with exercises and swd. But, not so much improvement seen. Please. Guide me.

For the first aid just apply hot water and cold water fomentation thrice a day for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time followed by ift and laser therapy for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time do use only firm hard and even mattress for sleep

Hie lybrate-user hi sometimes it is genetical sometime it is pathological. Genetical means, heridetory like illness comes from father or mother or from family member pathological means like dandruff damage scalp and hair root, or like few medicines can have illeffect over here as it root or by unhygienic conditions. Or by stress, strain, tention, bla bla or by harmonal illness. Apply vata jatadi tail over hair roots. Thank you.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anaemia. *Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *Eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *Avoid stress and anger. *Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *Take a sound sleep. Take homoeopathic medicine Lycopodium 30 ( 4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update with the feedback.

The best tips to lightens and remove the mark. 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the dark spot. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will lightens the mark definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 4. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. 5. Avoid oily food and high salt contained foods like chips, chinese food and non veg. * take proper sleep. Minimum 6-8 hours sleep for glowing of skin. 6. Try to reduce your stess level by doing meditation like pranayam in morning, or take long breathing on closed eyes while listening soft music.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Avoid to eat spicy food, besan, bekary food, overeating, junk food. 6. Every 3 day in month eat mung dal and rice for whole day.
