Actually your problem is hemifacial spasm (hfs) due to stress and if it goes on like this then it can prove fatal so start taking below given homoeopathic medicines along with a pranayam inorder to relax urself- homoeopathic medicine causticum-1m (dr reckeweg) drink 5 drops in 1 spoon fresh water once every month at night alpha ts (wilmar schwabe india) drink 20 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily for 15 days. Bramari pranayam daily bramari pranayam or bee breath 1. Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. 2. Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3. Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. 4. Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. 5. Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6. Repeat twenty times. Starting from 5 times drink plenty of water daily.

Some of the main causes behind the formation of dark circles are heredity, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Both men and women of different age groups can have dark circles. Almond oil is a great natural ingredient that is very beneficial for the delicate skin around your eyes. Regular usage of almond oil will help fade your under eye circles. In addition to almond oil, you can use vitamin E oil to eliminate dark circles under the eyes. Give me feedback.

Do not use mobile continuously for more than 5 minutes. There should be proper light in the area where you are using your mobile and most important do not use mobile with low battery. The bright light of the mobile screen gets more focused on our eyes and this causes dryness of the eyes and thus causing weakness of vision and eye and head pain. Homoeopathic medicine cinelube eyedrops (hapdco) pour 2 drops 3 times daily.

Feed your eyes. Eyes are just like any other part of the body – they need nutrition to function at an optimal level. Similar to other organs, a diet high in fruits and vegetables and low in sugar and fatty foods will go a long way in maintaining healthy eyes.[1] Vitamin A, C, an E, along with minerals like copper and zinc should be in your daily diet. These vitamins and minerals are essential for good vision and protection against disease. Eat strawberries, oranges, eggs, salmon, mackerel, and almonds for your vitamins, and oysters, crab, or turkey for your minerals. Antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin help protect your eyes from getting sun damage. You can find these antioxidants in dark leafy vegetables, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Garlic, onions, and caper should be in your diet to get sulfur, cysteine, and lecithin, which protect the lens of your eyes from forming cataracts. Blueberries, grapes, and goji contain anti-inflammatory properties, such as anthocyanin, that will help improve your vision. About 1,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per day will help prevent macular degeneration (AMD) and dry eyes. Salmon, mackerel, herring, flaxseeds, and walnuts are high in omega-3 fatty acids. it will help. thanks

Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Dear if his eyes are the problem glasses can take care if used in proper power. But the pressure that is on the eyes, could be helped by drinking more water, having good sleep, eating non acidic foods. If problem continues I suggest go for a ct scan head. The best. Puking if present please specify the quantity, frequency and modality when it happens. Bowel habits also need to be considered.

Computer Vision Syndrome

MBBS, MNAMS - Ophthalmology, DNB - Ophthalmology
Ophthalmologist, Noida
Play video

Hello everybody, I am Dr Charu Tyagi. Today I will talk about Computer vision syndrome.

Computer has become part and parcel of our life. We are spending lot many hours on the screens. The screens are associated with some eye problems. Patients who have eye pain, redness, watery eyes, blury vision, headache often associated with long hours on computer. They are classified as Computer Vision Syndrome. So, we would like you to be spending time but have a mix and match activity when you are working on computers. Take time for breaks and look at distances.

People who have tendency to stare, who do not blink well, (we are suppose to blink 16-18 times in a minute), and who are in the AC atmosphere are more prone to Computer Vision Syndrome. Not wearing glasses is one of the important factors for headache and strain.

Basic Tips:

  • People are adviced to blink 16-18 times in a minute.
  • Maintain a good posture
  • When feel tired, do palming
  • Wash eyes
  • Have proper hydration
  • Follow the rule 20-20-20, which means that after every 20 minutes look at 20 feet or more and blink 20 times.
  • Have your computer set 15 degrees and below your eye level. No bright light should be behind the computer
  • Maximum contrast and minimum brightness in the computer setting
  • Have anti-glare on your computer and anti-glare on your glasses.
  • Proper lighting should be there above for proper vision and to avoid strain.
  • Do not rub your eyes frequently as keyboards are the source of infection.
  • Do not over wear your contact lenses as they can cause dryness in your eyes.
  • Avoid kajal and soorma which are not very good for your eyes.

If you see that your symptoms are not improving then you need to see an eye specialist for the complete eye examination.

Thank you.

How To Keep Your Eyes Protected During Summers?

MD Ophthalmology, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS)

How To Keep Your Eyes Protected During Summers?

During summer you try to take special care about the overall health of your body, particularly, your eyes. Eyes are one of the most important organs of the body, and the scorching summer heat can cause serious eye problems like conjunctivitis, infections, red eye, migraines etc., which is why it's important to take proper care of eyes during the summer season.

Here are some tips to keep your eyes cool and protected during the summer:

  • Wearing sunglasses is very important when you are outdoors as it protects your eyes from the harmful UVA and UVB light. This will help in avoiding migraines and even serious conditions like cataract.
  • Avoid midday sunshine. Stay indoors as much as possible during the middle of the day to avoid the sunshine then when the effect of the sun and ultraviolet radiation exposure are at their peak.
  • When you plan to go for a swim, make sure you wear your swimming goggles. Otherwise you might catch conjunctivitis.
  • You should not splash water into the eyes directly unless any foreign particles such as dust enter your eyes. This might damage the tear film of the eye, which protects your eyes.
  • You need to maintain proper hygiene by washing your hands and face properly as soon as you reach home so that dust or grime does not enter the eyes as their entry can result in allergies and infections.
  • You can keep a slice of cucumber on each of your eyes to relax and cool them down.
  • 6 to 8 hours of sleep are a must as they help in revitalizing your eyes.
  • Adding green vegetables, carrots, nuts, liver and fruits to your diet would be very beneficial for the health of your eyes. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Ophthalmologist.
