Hello! I am 20 years old and my height is about 5'3" and weight is about 65 kgs. My problem is that I wakeup in the night 2 to 3 times to go for toilet. Although it doesn't happen in summer due to sweat. But in winter and monsoon it becomes really a problem. My question is that, is it normal? Or I have any issue with my kidney.

Hi Am sorry to hear your situation. Can understand is quite nerve wrecking n embarrassing to say the least. My dear. Every cloud has a silver lining n so has urs .as you get into trouble only when you face difficult situations. Yes you have stammering which only surfaces in anxiety provoking situations as described by u. Why not control the anxiety first. Naa rahega baans .na bajegi baansuri .if you get what I mean. Pls Google rcpsych social anxiety to know more about your condition n then see a good Psychiatrist. Yes speech therapy n public speaking courses will definitely help you but in my view it is also important to work at the root of your problem. Hope this helps. Rgds.

Hi Insulin pump would be ideal for brittle diabetes. Those who can't afford, can manage with insulin and proper diet which mostly is small frequent meals with a little knowledge about carbohydrate count which will be of much help in insulin dose adjustment. You need continuous blood glucose monitoring for few days to understand your dips and surges in blood sugar which inturn is very useful in adjusting your insulin dosage. De-stressing also plays an important role. Avoid alcohol, make sure insulin needle is changed after every fourth prick (if it's a flex pen) and is taken properly. Stay fit and strong, as fitness level rises, diabetes risk reduces.

I have cervical spondylosis for last 5 years taking pain killers but not relief .kindly advise me.

Diploma in Gastroenterology, Diploma In Pulmonary Medicine , MSCP, BHMS, SVD( skin and veneral diseases)
Homeopath, Hyderabad
I have cervical spondylosis for last 5 years taking pain killers but not relief .kindly advise me.
My advice to you would be as much as possible avoid pain killers and look for natural aids. Also keep in mind about the postures you have been using as this will play a key role in control of the symptoms. Homeopathy on the other hand will take care of your spondylosis and also give you permanent cure without any side effects.

Why muscle cramps occur? It is strong and painful. It occurs suddenly and lasts for few seconds to several minutes. How to get rid of this pain?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Overuse of a muscle, dehydration, muscle strain or simply holding a position for a prolonged period can cause a muscle cramp. In many cases, however, the cause isn't known. Although most muscle cramps are harmless, some may be related to an underlying medical condition, such as: Inadequate blood supply. Narrowing of the arteries that deliver blood to your legs (arteriosclerosis of the extremities) can produce cramp-like pain in your legs and feet while you're exercising. These cramps usually go away soon after you stop exercising. Nerve compression. Compression of nerves in your spine (lumbar stenosis) also can produce cramp-like pain in your legs. The pain usually worsens the longer you walk. Walking in a slightly flexed position — such as you would use when pushing a shopping cart ahead of you — may improve or delay the onset of your symptoms. Mineral depletion. Too little potassium, calcium or magnesium in your diet can contribute to leg cramps. Diuretics — medications often prescribed for high blood pressure — also can deplete these minerals.

Psychiatrist,
Sexual problem Jaldi discharge ho jata he please help me, I have 2 kids.
All men/women are different in their sexuality and health. You need to go for check up with sexologist to know the cause and get guidance/treatment for improvement. If you value your sexual health and want to enjoy quality sex in marriage then understanding and learning about sexuality is needed. As we all believe that what we know by hearsay or porn watching is great but in fact what we all know and understand is only penetration and that's not quality sex.
