I haven't been able to sleep since 2days and I am having a severe stomach pain so many remedies I used they didn't work so what can I do?

Take sulphur 30 1 dose now 2nd dose at night and 3rd dose tomorrow evening. You will be getting alright by tomorrow morning itself. And for your sleeplessness, just do this small exercise: sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall, straight up, making 90 degree angle for 10-15 mins. You will get sleep.

I am suffering from Diabetes type 2 having PP 150. Not taking any medicine, not taking any sugar. Please advise how to reduce pp to normal naturally. How much is the normal reading.

Dear lybrate-user, your bmi is 27 you need to reduce your weight upto 62-63 kg check your FBS and HBA1c level. Normal value of PPBS is 140-170 mg/DL regards, hope it is helpful.

Even small amount of bleeding should not be ignored. In 10% cases, it is due to some cancer. But in 90% cases, some mild diseases. Still, you must ensure that she is not having any serious problems. So, consult your gynaecologist immediately and get some basic check ups and investigations (HPV test, USG at minimum) done

Sir my wife has a diabetes due to pancreas stone. Everything is okay but I want to ask you it's a dangerous diabetes? And it's a type 1 or type 2 And in this types of diabetes which type of carrying is done. Please tel me sir.

If the diabetes is due to pancreatic stone, it could be due to type 2 diabetes. For type 1 diabetes blood test is done for for auto antibody which destroys beta cell of pancreas, and presence of ketone in blood. Take usg abdomen and consult gastro enterologist for advice and treatment.

I have excessive hair fall and I am not taking any medication for that till now. Please advice me what steps should I take for stopping hair fall.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. *hair fall can also result when one indulges in too much dying, blow drying or use of hot curlers. *dandruff can also be great cause behind hair fall. Follow the tips *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.

Sleep is very important for our health and lack of sleep can affect our whole immune system.
Our body's biological clock is set for 24-hour rhythm and certain periods of light and darkness (a circadian rhythm), and when it's thrown off, so is the immune system.

Regular poor sleep or prolonged lack of sleep can disrupt your body's natural immune system and can lead to many illnesses such as infections (such as cold/flu) and increasing risk of serious medical conditions such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes as well as it can shortens your life expectancy. So every time when you catch cold and flu, you could blame your bedtime.

Therefore when planning your activities and rest, you should consider around 8 hours of good quality sleep a night to function properly (some of us need more or less time).

Why lack of sleep is bad for your health?

If you have a disturbed sleep patterns you can have nap during the day when you get tired, it helps a lot. The benefits of napping could be best obtained by training the body and mind to awaken after a short nap. Naps of fewer than 30 minutes restore wakefulness and promotes performance and learning

Nutrition and diet

Our immune system requires ingestion and absorption of vitamins, minerals, and food energy in the form of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Foods rich in certain fatty acids (such as conjugated linoleic acid, catalpic acid, eleostearic acid and punicic acid) may boost your healthy immune system by providing additional energy. The amount and type of carbohydrates consumed is also important so intake isn't too much (overnutrition) or too less (malnutrition).

Drink less alcohol

Regular drinking can affect your immune system and heavy drinkers tend to catch more infectious diseases. If you cut down on alcohol before bedtime, you'll get a better night's rest and have more energy next day.

Cut out caffeine

If you find that not consuming caffeine gives you headaches, you should cut down on the amount of caffeine. The royal college of psychiatrists recommends that anyone feeling tired should cut out caffeine.

Drink more water for better energy

Sometimes we feel tired, because we're mildly dehydrated, so glass of water can help (especially after exercise).

I am feeling with severe obesity by stomach is growing for low that what should I do to reduce my stomach.

Dear lybrate user. At first you have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, and fermented foods 4) avoid late night sleeping habits. A) take 20 ml of ginger juice and fresh lemon juice along with 20 gm of jaggery before meals. B) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyavardhini vati after meals. C) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 60 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for thirty days, it gives you good result, reply to me for further suggestions. Thanks.
