Can any one suggest the medicine to gain weight. 23years old 53weight, 5.10height male. South indian (Bangalore)
Hello,Homoeopathic medicines are less invasive and have more herbal approach towards gaining the weight. There are a number of homoeopathic medicines, which treat the root cause behind the body’s inability to gain weight or bulk up. 1. Take alfalfa tonic(wsi), 2 – 2 tsp. Thrice a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Calcarea phos 200, 5 drops , once in aweek , morning empty stomach for 2 weeks. 3. Take eggs, milk, butter, bananas, potatoes, mangoes, figs, oats, soyabean and dry fruits. 4. do light exercises regularly to keep your body active. These homoeopathic medicines and dietary addition will increase your appetite and give your metabolism a healthy boost. ***If you do not get results with this treatment then please revert me i will suggest you to go through some tests.*** Take care.

Menstrual periods are often irregular during the first few years after menstruation starts. It may take several years for the hormones that control menstruation to reach a balance. Menopause or peri-menopause is the phase when a female again faces irregular menses. Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If you might be pregnant, treat yourself as if you are pregnant until you know for sure. Use a home pregnancy test as the first step to finding out whether you are pregnant. If you are not pregnant, other causes of missed or irregular periods include: Excessive weight loss or gain. Although low body weight is a common cause of missed or irregular periods, obesity also can cause menstrual problems. Eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia. For more information, see the topic Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa. Increased exercise. Missed periods are common in endurance athletes. Emotional stress. Illness. Travel. Medicines such as birth control methods, which may cause lighter, less frequent, more frequent, or skipped periods or no periods at all. Hormone problems. This may cause a change in the levels of the hormones that the body needs to support menstruation. Illegal drug use. Problems with the pelvic organs , such as imperforate hymen, polycystic ovary syndrome, or Asherman's syndrome. Breast-feeding. Many women do not resume regular periods until they have completed breast-feeding. Other diseases such as irritable bowel syndrome, tuberculosis, liver disease, and diabetes can cause missed or irregular periods, although this is rare. Any nutritional deficiency can also lead to Menstrual problem/ irregularity. Take more of green vegetables, nuts, salads, seasonal fruits, yellow coloured veggies, milk & milk products, plenty of water and enough of sleep & rest. Take homoeopathic medication – Schwabe's Five Phos. And Alfaalfa Tonic – both thrice daily for 1 month. *****also get an Ultrasound (pelvis) done****

Since I have high bloodpressure, I'm talking attend 25 from 3 years. Can I get rid of that medicine?
Dear sir, high blood pressure has longterm health consequences. What is important is that your blood pressure remains in control by whichever means. Its not necessary to take medicine if your blood pressure is controlled by diet, exercise, yoga etc. But if not you should continue taking medicine along with lifestyle measures.

I am 32 years old and I had a miscarriage in April, 2016. I have 31 days cycle and now we are TTC and tried every alternate day from CD10 to CD21. I did a pregnancy test after 2 days of my missed periods, but it turned out to be negative. My periods are normal and I do not have any PMS. Is there any chance that I am pregnant? If so when I can test? I was told to try after 3-6 months of the miscarriage. We could not try because of other problems. Is there any chance of infertility or other problem? Please answer.

Please show your gynecologist and get examined physically to find out what kind of rashes it is. It could be viral or bacterial or allergic. Unless one see the rash it is difficult to prescribe. If you get examined and take proper medication it will go off. Meanwhile you can use some vaginal wash.

Thanks for the query. Both fasting and Pp blood glucose levels mentioned are very high. It appears that present medication (particularly Insulin) is not adequate. It may have to be increased. Plus a look has to be given to his diet and extent of daily physical activity. You may have to first target his fasting level and bring it down to 110 mg or so by adjusting nigh insulin dosage. If you have any doubts please come in a private conversation then I will be able to give specific guidance. Thanks.

My left knee MRI report says high grade injury with full thickness tear in mid substance of anterior cruciate ligament. Moderate amount of joint effusion extending till suprapatellar bursa. What does it mean? Treatment is only surgery or can be treated without surgery. Which type of surgery is performed? Is surgery is safe? My knee will be recovered completely after surgery? Your condition needs immediate Orthopaedic intervention. Yes you should go towards surgery if your Orthopaedic doctor suggest so. Joint effusion means swelling in the joint which is extended till suprapatellar bursa which is near your knee cap. Definitive treatment is surgery. Yes it is completely safe and results are good with physiotherapy rehabilitation. You will have to go through prolong physiotherapy rehabilitation program to recover completely. If it is arthroscopic surgery it will be done within sm hours and you ll be discharged in a couple of days. Surgeon can tell you the time of surgery more precisely. In my opinion in a complete rupture of ligament ,surgery should be done and 3 months of physiotherapy rehabilitation post surgery. Hope you got your answer.
