Heart diseases are emerging as an increasing health concern due to our unhealthy lifestyle. A balanced diet and regular exercise helps in keeping heart diseases away. Here are some of the foods that you should add to your diet for a healthy heart

Green leafy vegetables: vegetables like spinach, methi (fenugreek), radish leaves and lettuce are extremely low in fat, calories and high in dietary fiber. They also contain folic acid, magnesium, calcium and potassium. These minerals are beneficial for the optimum functioning of the heart.

Tomatoes: tomatoes are a good source of vitamins and acts as a blood purifier. Regular consumption of tomatoes is known to reduce the risk of heart diseases. Add tomatoes to your salads and sandwiches or have them cooked.

Apples: apples contain quercetin a plant pigment with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps in prevention of blood clots. Add sliced apple to your breakfast cereal or have it as a snack.

Almonds: almonds when eaten in moderation are known to lower cholesterol levels in the body and thus prevent heart diseases. They also contain vitamin b17, e and minerals like magnesium, iron, and zinc and are a good source of monounsaturated fats. Add almonds to your cereals or have 7-8 almonds a day to keep your heart healthy.

Walnuts: walnuts are packed with mono-saturated fats and help lower bad cholesterol (ldl) and increase the good cholesterol (hdl) these are also rich in omega-3 fats. Munch on a handful of walnuts daily to give your heart a boost of good health.

Garlic: consuming raw garlic every day can help to reduce the production of bad cholesterol (ldl), increase the production of good cholesterol (hdl) and also keep blood pressure within normal limits. Have 1-2 cloves of raw garlic daily to reap the benefits.

Ginger: ginger is believed to be capable of preventing formation of clots, improving blood circulation and lowering ldl cholesterol levels. Make ginger a part of your daily cooking. You can add it to tea or lemonade also.

take sinarest one tab at night for 3 days. do gargle , take steam, take honitus cough syrup 2 tsf 2 times daily.. inform if not ok. consult physician.

If the bleeding is not stopping with medicines then please go back to your doctor. He might do an endoscopy and decide if something more is required. You might need nasal packing to control the bleeding. But you need to go bk to the ENT asap.

Hi apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp...Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation..1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day...take lots of proteins like soyabean...egg white.....etc...avoid tea...coffee...spicy food...fermented food...junk food....apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp....do pranayama early morning......

I want to gain my weight. Recently I feel I am loosening my weight. Now what should I do?
To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

Hello, take homoeopathic medicines 1.Acid Phos 30 ( 4 drops in little amount of water) every morning empty stomach only one dose in a day for 15 days. 2.Weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little amount of water) twice a day for 15 days and update with the feedback. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *Eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *Avoid stress and anger. *Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *Take a sound sleep.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

You are having sensitivity issues in your teeth which can be difficult to control at times, for time being use anti sensitivity toothpaste, but I doubt that without adequate diagnosis and treatment by the dentist you will get any relief.

Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that your mother is suffering from diabetes. It could had been better had you provided us with latest fasting sugars, hba1c levels and any other recent relevant investigations along with the complete medication list if she is taking any. For the successful treatment of diabetes it is advised if you can start exercising on a regular basis preferably 30-45 minutes, diet modifications with low carbohydrate and high fibre diet along with medications as advised. Please note the following in respect to your queries: for pimples -- apply some apple cider vinegar: directions for use: wash your face with water and pat dry. Using a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, dip a cotton ball into vinegar and apply it directly to the blemish. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, or overnight. Reapply several times a day, washing face thoroughly after each time. Make sure to use a moisturizer afterwards as well if you feel like your skin is getting dry.

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. Dark circles are because of lack of nutrients....sleep and weakness...so take proper nutrients and drink plenty of juices and sleep for atleast 7 hours a day...drink 7-8 glasses of water every day

Tension can never be the way out.Question is how you implement this tension as your strength to reduce your weight.You will have to really work hard on your eating habits and your daily schedule but prime important is your mind and at the age 13,I dont think a child has a strong enough mind to control her habits.So being a homoeopath,I will try to reduce her weight with some homoeopathic medicines and a diet plan according to her tastes,so that she dont feel uncomfortable.So please provide me the details that how and when she started increasing weight and what are her food habits and diet.
