I have got my neck USG report, they found two tiny cystic lesions on the left and right lobe of thyroid,suggestive of benign lesions. I have hoarseness from last 2-3 weeks. Continuous burping started last 6 days. Xray and CBC tests are clear. What this could be I was a smoker and drinker till last month.

Thyroids cysts in males not recommended to keep for long duration, this has to be removed immediately, no need to wait for cysts to grow, get your thyroid profile done if it comes normal than this is suitable time to get it removed.

YARD WORK

MOWING THE LAWN:

This can be a great strengthener. Maintain good alignment and relaxed breathing. Avoid slumping or overarching the low back keeps your pelvis level. If the vibration of the mower seems to aggravate your symptoms, try thick gloves or use foam tape to insulate the handles.

GARDENING LOW TO THE GROUND:

(PLANTING, WEEDING, EDGING):

Maintain good squatting methods. Also, try kneeling, Half Kneeling, and sitting on your heels
There is a no. of helpful garden products that assist with these positions, providing knee cushioning and something to push up off when going down. Be sure to stand, stretch up and backward, walk after being in these bent-over positions.

SWEEPING/RAKING:

These activities are great overall strengtheners. Use an exaggerated, wide base stance and keep your, head, shoulder, pelvis, balanced on the top of each other and facing in the same direction. Reach and pull with your legs and arms, not your back. Rake and sweep in different directions by pivoting your back leg and moving your whole body single, relaxed unit. After sweeping and raking, do neck strengthening and decompression and neck release exercises.

REACHING UP TO PAINT, PRUNE, AND CLEAN WINDOWS:

This can be good upper back, arm, and abdominal strengthener. Use ladder or step stool to keep from aching your low back and letting your abdomen and buttocks; stick out; make sure you keep your chest up, your pelvis level, and your head and neck in a neutral position. If you are uncomfortable after doing these activities try doing knee to chest neck strengthening and decompression, and/or release exercises.

DIGGING HOLES/ SHOVELING SNOW:
CAUTION:

These activities carry a high-risk aggravation and/re-injury of most neck and low back problems; they are not good form of exercises. If you have to perform these activities, avoid rounding out your spine and attempting to lift with your spine in a rounded position. Put your legs in a front to back step position and shift your weight through your legs. Keep your chest up and your buttocks sticking out that is squat instead of bend. Keep your arms flexed and lift by straightening your legs. When you start to get tired or sore stop! Stretch up and backward, walk and wait a while before continuing. Specially designed, bent-handled snow shovels make the job a little easier.

WASHING THE CAR:

This is a good strengthener for arms and legs if you attempt good bending methods. Especially helpful are oil derrick methods, squatting, and taking weight through both hands. Keep the low back relatively straight and relaxed, and work those legs by squatting and shifting.

I always feel sleepiness even after I sleep for 8-10 hours what should I do please tell as it prevents in concentrating on different things.

I am 18 years old and my height is 5 feet weight is 38 kg I want to increase my height when I go to college girls teases me due to having less height I feel very bad at that time. Please guide me and what measures must have to take for height increasing what type of meal should I include in my diet. So uve very little time left Avoid worries as it inhibits release of growth hormone in body Drink plenty of coconut water daily Take protein rich foods like boiled eggs with milk Do morning walks for 30 min daily Do stretching exercises like hanging ..along with yoga and aerobics.. U can still gain a little height

Leg pain seems to be Abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise/ cycling You can do Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days For Stomach Pain This may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas or it may be muscular pain Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. we may need to start medications after personal consultation

Dear Lybrate User, *Honey masks are quite a common acne treatment. Applying honey on the face works both as a preventive method and as a treatment for pimples. Apply some honey on your face for 15-30 minutes and then wash it off. When I pass stool I feel discomfort and burning sensation.For last 10 days.What is wrong with me

Are you taking excess of chilly? or Had a very hard stool before this episode started? You might have developed a fissure in ano. Get confirmed by a Physician or surgeon. They can say it after examination. Till then you may follow: 1.) LANSOPRAZOLE 30 - 1 cap in empty stomach at morning daily for about 20 days. 2.) Keep your stool soft by taking some laxative like Isogel Husk 2-3 TSp in the evening with a full glass of water. 3.) Avoid spicy food, specially chili. 4.) May apply PROCTOSEDYL Oint - inside the anus (with the applicator provided) after passing stool and wash every time. If it benefits, you apply for one month. A feedback shall be highly appreciated.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Hi lybrate-user There could be many reasons for weight gain. When you gain weight then obviously several other problems arises. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement. You have fat deposit on tummy or belly this indicates that you may have insulin resistance. The food which helps in balancing insulin resistance will help you in losing weight faster. All sugar based food is dangerous for your type of body. To lose weight we need to focus upon some basic food plan like cutting down on grains and sugar. This helps immediately. Avoid processed food. The healthy weight loss diet should contain ample amount of vegetable with sufficient protein. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. For reducing fat first of all stop fast, fried, oily n high calory food. Take low calory n high fibre diet. Do walk daily. You can do cycling or jogging also. Take green tea 2- 3 times in a day. About water tell me in details.

HI Lybrate USER. A) apply mixture of honey and fresh juice of BASIL LEAVES on face, two times in a day. B) take 200 ml of fresh buttermilk and 1 tsf of jaggery during meals… C) take 30 ml juice of BASIL LEAVES and LEMON along with 10 ml of HONEY and 30 ml of water, early in the morning, on empty stomach. Hi In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: Limit non-nutritious foods, such as: Sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages Cut down on high-fat foods by: Choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: Fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken,  fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: Eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine.

My last period has comes on 30 may. On 30 june I have spotting and one clot. On 4th july I have sharp cramps and spot. On 6th july my hcg in urine get positive but scan seen nothing in uterus and nothing in tubes. On 7th july my hcg in blood comes 40. 44miu/ml. Again scan says nothing in anywhere. I have still spotting. My Dr. Says no ectopic pregnancy .and Dr. Gives me dacalin c tablet for seven days. She says no pregnancy do not worry. What can I do.

Most causes are infection and tumor, if tumor and infection is not available check whether you had any steroid for other cause these will also produce false result of hcg. If any other treatment for ovulation has happened then there are chances of false hcg result. Check thoroughly for any tumor in body.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Keep your diabetes under control to improve your sexual problem. Consult your doctor if problem still persists.
