Homeopathic philosophy does not favour the use of temporary painkillers or short cuts for the treatment of migraine or for that matter any disease. Homeopathy tries to go deep down into the cause of the problem and completely eradicate the tendency of a patient to have these migraine headaches now and then. That is why it takes some time for the medicines to show results. They do not have a short term or temporary effect like the allopathic painkillers. On the contrary, homeopathic medicines have long term effects and work to completely cure the migraine problem. After a couple of months of homeopathic treatment for migraine headaches, patients are pleasantly surprised to experience a completely pain free or headache free life. This is the beauty of Homeopathy. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

Last year my a1c was 7.3 and now as recent report it is 6.6. My Dr. Has not prescribed any medicine but asked me to do regular walk and exercise of one hour which I do without fail. Except on occassion once in 4/5moths I do not take sweets and no sugar in tea. At present my fasting sugar is 105/112 and 2 hrs after meal it comes 140/155. Random also 105/111 what is your suggestion.

Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
for a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for more than 2-3 hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Fruits should be had as a mid meal. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

Try to reduce your weight first. Avoid junk food. Sugar .and do exercise half an hour daily. Eat healthy green veggies .sprouts. Milk in your diet. This will all bring normalcy in your hormones. And doing yoga bring regular periods. Too.If still no regular periods after loosing 10%of your weight. Go for medical management then.

Hello lybrate-user, you should go to near by physiotherapist for strengthning the neck muscles, well one thing I told you pain killer is not recommended in longer term then you have to choose electrotherapy for pain relief.

I am 29 old male and i am suffering from neck pain regularly. A doctor said that it is bone growth. What should I do?

MBBS, MS - Orthopaedics
Orthopedist, Delhi
It could be due to cervical spondylosis this is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you will need other supportive medicines also. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.
