Coconut oil is widely used for good hair and scalp massage as it gives relations and also opens up the pores. Even many people use coconut water to wash their hairs. You can go for skin polishing treatment at a dermatologist's clinic. At home you can apply gram flour-yogurt-turmeric paste on the areas. It will take time to lighten. You can start using body whitening cream regularly.

I am Kapil rai I am 32 year old man and I have white hair and hair fall problem last one month what should I do.

Vaidya Visharad

Many men who suffer from hair loss are found to have zinc deficiencies. Zinc plays a key role in many of the body’s functions, from cell reproduction to hormonal balance, and all these functions affect hair growth. Perhaps most importantly, zinc manages the glands that attach to your hair follicles. When you’re low on zinc, these follicles become weak, causing strands to break off or fall out. To combat this problem, eat zinc-heavy foods such as red meats, poultry, mussels, shrimp, nuts, and oysters. Excessive amounts of zinc can eventually lead to hair loss, so it’s best to stick to a zinc-heavy diet rather than eat these foods and take a zinc supplement.

HiI am 24 years old, male. I am developing stretch marks around my belly (abdomen). May I know the reason why and how they can be stopped.

MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Pathanamthitta
Stretch marks are due to loss of elastic fibres in skin. These fibres ensure when the skin is stretched it comes back to its normal state. In obesity, pregnancy cushings disease, these marks are formed when the fibres break and they can no longer resume their action. Natural remedies won't reverse this problem. But medications and procedures vil help. You can still use a mixture of olive oil and cocoa or shea butter to lighten it.

6 Mistakes in Self-Treating Acne

6 Mistakes in Self-Treating Acne

6 Mistakes in Self-Treating Acne

Acne is a very common problem that affects people, mostly teenagers worldwide. The problem of acne can be extremely annoying, making most of the people to opt for self medication. However, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist to avoid unwanted complications. The following common but serious mistakes should be avoided while self-treating acne:

1. Fight acne the dermatologist way: During adolescence, hormonal imbalance is one of the major factors resulting in acne. However, factors like prolonged illness, pollution, dermatological problems cannot be sidelined either. It should be noted that acne is an inflammation which needs proper investigation. A dermatologist should be consulted at the very onset. Use of any medicated lotions or creams without proper recommendation can aggravate the problem.

2. The lesser the better: Using too many products at a time will do you more harm than good. Use one product at a time. If you think a product can magically treat your acne in a day, then you are in for some disappointment. Optimism is good, but being realistic is better. Not all products show positive results in a day. One needs to have patience. Use the product diligently for a week before trying out a new product.

3. Complete what you started: It is a crime to stop any medications mid way. Complete the full course of the medication, even if your acne is fully treated.

4. Popping away to ugly spots and scars: Popping or picking only worsens the inflammation and acne. It will leave your face with some really ugly spots. When the acne head turns white, do not try to squeeze it out. Show some resilience. It is a very common mistake that should be strictly avoided.

5. Exfoliants should be chosen carefully. Understand your skin type well. Micro-beads-enriched exfoliants are the best to use. Avoid scrubbing or over washing the face. Always use a sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. If you are into make-ups, remove them before retiring to bed. Use make-ups that suit your skin type. Minimal application of make-up is advisable in case of acne.

6. Many well wishers might suggest innumerable acne treatments. Listen to all, but choose what you feel and know is the best.

A flawless and acne-free face is very much achievable.

Glow Your Skin in Summer

1. To make a tomato remedy for fair skin, you can follow some easy steps such as:

  1. You add 2 tsp of lemon juice and 1 to 2 tomatoes into a blender.
  2. You add gram flour (besan) to it.
  3. You blend well to create a smooth paste.
  4. You apply this paste on the face.
  5. Then you keep for 20 minutes.
  6. You wash off with the cool water.

2. Choose a sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 15 or higher. If you have fair skin, you should consider choosing a higher minimum SPF of 30 to 50. Apply 1 ounce (a golf ball-sized amount) of sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside, and then reapply every 2 hours or after swimming, sweating, or toweling off.

3. Mix 1 teaspoon each of honey and milk, and apply the paste over your face and neck. Apply a paste of 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and 3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice on darkened skin. Beat an egg well and apply the fluffy mixture to your face. Wash it off after it's dry.

I have black spots as well as pimples on my back. I used scar removal cream for 4 months but did not see any changes. What should I do?

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)

PIMPLE Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin E on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study , applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing,if you want medicine than , i will prescibe , like daily apply night microbenz cream daytime use ahaglo facewash this is basic advice that is given without seeing your actual conditionbut i tried my level best, before using medicine on your body its my sincere advice to take advantage of lybrate low cost treatment of private consultation on your application.

Hello sir my name Anji rana my medical problem is my hair. My hair fall down $my are are so thin. How can I solve it please.

BHMS
Homeopath, Chennai
Hair grows in cycles. Each cycle consists of a long growing phase (anagen), a brief transitional apoptotic phase (catagen), and a short resting phase (telogen). At the end of the resting phase, the hair falls out (exogen) and a new hair starts growing in the follicle, beginning the cycle again. Normally, about 50 to 100 scalp hairs reach the end of resting phase each day and fall out. When significantly more than 100 hairs/day go into resting phase, clinical hair loss (telogen effluvium) may occur. A disruption of the growing phase causing abnormal loss of anagen hairs is an anagen effluvium. Causes of hairfall:- 1. Androgen hormone 2. Drugs (including chemotherapeutic agents) 3. Infection (eg, tinea capitis, kerion, cellulitis of the scalp) 4. Systemic disorders (disorders that cause high fever, sle, endocrine disorders, and nutritional deficiencies) 5. Alopecia areata first thing is to rule out any of these causes which will be of diagnostic value only but for immediate relief you can go for constitutional homoeopathic treatment which will remove your hairfall tendency from the root itself.
