Give your suggestion plise.
Increase the quantity of fruits and vegetables and low calorie foods. Avoid intake of too much salt as it may be a factor for increasing body weight. Milk products like cheese, butter etc. And non-vegetarian foods should be avoided as they are rich in fat. Mint is very beneficial in losing weight. A chutney of green mint with some simple spices can be taken with meals. Mint tea also helps. Spices like dry ginger, cinnamon, black pepper etc. Are good for loosing weight and can be used in a number of ways. Regular intake of carrot juice. Avoid rice and potato, which contain a lot of carbohydrates. Among cereals wheat is good. Vegetables like bitter gourd (karela), and bitter variety of drumstick are useful in loosing weight. Honey is an excellent home remedy for obesity. It mobilizes the extra deposited fat in the body allowing it to be utilized as energy for normal functions.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

1. Get Lumber spine X ray done 2. Start with Physiotherapy treatment 3. Learn spinal exercises 4. Don't sit on floor 5. Don't lift heavy things 6. Don't do forward bending 7. Wear Lumber spine belt 8. Do hot fermentation twice a day 9. Apply volini cream before sleeping 10. Take calcium vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hello doctor, I slapped my brother 2 days back, after continuous complain about ear ringing, we went to doctor today and doc told that it might be due to eardrum rupture but he is not sure. So he prescribed OTOREX, NUROKIND PLUS, CELIN. After giving ear drops, he is complaining that his ringing sound is more. Pls help me in this matter. Thank you in advance.

Stop all the medicines that you are taking. There could have been a traumatic perforation of the ear drum or the nerves in the inner ear might have got temporarily damaged. Get an ent consultation done to rule out if there is any perforation of the ear drum. Do not allow any water to enter the ear. Put cotton inside the ear & keep the ear dry for about 15 days. The ringing sensation should go on its own.

Today I am having 99 fever and nausea and tiredness. My LMP is 12/2/16. I have done iui on 27//2/16. Today is my 33 day of menses still don't have my periods but hpt is negative today. Its a PMS or early pregnancy sptoms. I have severe low back ache nausea decreased appetite joint pain.

Hi lybrate-user. The symptoms which you mentioned may be of both as doubted. But to confirm, you didn't mention like how many days cycle is urs, whether 28 days or 30 days etc. And are your periods regular or not? this is because, based on that you need to get the iui done during your fertile window only and hope that's done too. But sometimes though hpt is negative, there are chances that you can be pregnant. So better you wait for few more days and get the test done once again, orelse meet a gynaecologist for further advise.

Is it slip of one vertebra over other or disc slip. If it is prolapsed disc conservative management with rest can take care of 90% of patients. If it is spondylolisthesis then physio is the first line of management.

Do contrast bath therapy Take hot water in 1 bowl & cold water in another then immerse your hands in hot water for 3min then move to cold water for 1min, keep repeating for 20min, twice daily. Do hand stretches Squeeze smiley ball hold for 3sec then relax, 20repetitions, twice daily

While playing cricket I got damage to my knee. After MRI scanning it came to know that it was complete cronical ligament injury. But right now I have no pain. But sometimes that unstable feeling will come. So I can't run or jump. It happened exactly 3 years ago. Should I undergo acl reconstruction. Can I apply for police jobs? Please suggest me.

Dear lybrate-user, if mri is showing ligament injury, it needs to be taken care off. If a complete tear is present it my need reconstruction. If it is partial and based on patients work demand and expectations even sometimes physiotherapy treatment can be done. I think patient should consult an arthroscopy specialist to have relief.

To treat low BP follow these methods: • Anaemia is a cause of low BP so check your hemoglobin level (Hb) if this is low so eat green leafy vegetables, beetroot and fruits like pomegranate. • Eat an apple daily it maintain your BP normal. • Take your meal daily do not skip meal. • Drink 8 - 9 glass of water daily. Hydrate your body well with drinking proper amount of water because dehydration is also cause fall of BP. • When you feel that your BP is low then take 2 teaspoons of Glucon D and add a pinch of salt mix it in one glass of water and drink it. You can repeat it after 2 hours. This will maintain electrolyte balance and your BP. You can drink a cup of tea. • Drink a glass of milk daily. It maintain your stamina. • Take a multivitamin capsule daily for 15 days. • Eat a teaspoon of gulkand daily and maintain your blood sugar level. • Do long breathing pranayams daily and do not take stress.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.
