Hello, First get your blood pressure checked, make a chart. Let me know about the readings, will give you medication accordingly. Some primary headaches can be triggered by lifestyle factors, including: Alcohol, particularly red wine Certain foods, such as processed meats that contain nitrates Changes in sleep or lack of sleep Poor posture Skipped meals Stress insufficient sleep or rest Overexertion Nutritional deficiencies A secondary headache is a symptom of a disease that can activate the pain-sensitive nerves of the head. Any number of conditions — varying greatly in severity — may cause secondary headaches. Medication: Meantime, can start with homoeopathic medicine - Bakson's Mig Aid tablet/ after every 2 hours.

I have constipation problem from last 5 years. Every day I am not getting clear and satisfactory motion

Pls help.
CONSTIPATION:is due to an incorrect lifestyle and irregular eating patterns, not taking enough fluids, sedentary lifestyle.Foods that are heavy and difficult to digest, as well as oily, spicy, fried, and junk foods are the culprits. Eating food in a disturbed atmosphere or in front of the television and being awake late at night all lead to bowel disturbance. Psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow also play an important role. DIET & LIFESTYLE ADVICE: Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. An Apple or Pineapple/Pomegranate each day is helpful.  Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day. Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts and Muesli in breakfast Avoid removing bran from the flour because it clears the intestines  Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice,or high protein foods like cheese, meat and cold foods like ice cream or chilled drinks  Take meals in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. The food should be warm and freshly -prepared, as cold food slows the digestive power. Take 30 ml/6 tsp of syp Duphalac thrice daily after meals with lukewarm water. Soak 3-4 dried figs after washing them overnight in water. Eat them first thing in the morning,

I am 27 years old unmarried my E C G report is showing SINUS arrhythmia / NO ST. T CHANGES. What does it mean please explain.

M.D. Consultant Pathologist, CCEBDM Diabetes, PGDS Sexology USA, CCMTD Thyroid, ACDMC Heart Disease, CCMH Hypertension, ECG
Sexologist, Sri Ganganagar
Sinus arrhythmia is a normal physiological phenomenon, most commnonly seen in young, healthy people. The heart rate varies due to reflex changes in vagal tone during the different stages of the respiratory cycle. Inspiration increases the heart rate by decreasing vagal tone. With the onset of expiration, vagal tone is restored, leading to a subsequent decrease in heart rate. The incidence of sinus arrhythmia decreases with age, presumably due to age-related decreases in carotid distensibility and baroreceptor reflex sensitivity.

Hello Doctors I have oily skin and pimples. There is also dust and many air pollution where I live what to do my skin...
Washing of face with non medicated soft soap twice or thrice in a day is good for oily skin. Try wet mopping of surfaces in home to reduce the fine dust settled or suspended in air that may be causing some problems.

My mom has been diabetic for the past one year what kind of diet should she take and what precautions should be taken by her to keep sugar level under control. What is the suggested sugar level which is safe for her.

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology

My mom has been diabetic for the past one year what kind of diet should she take and what precautions should be taken...
Lybrate-userji, for a patient with diabetes, it ideal to maintain blood sugar - fasting around 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <7. To achieve this following steps need to be taken: 1) take prescribed medications regularly without missinga singel dose, 2) take balanced but restricted diet based on ideal body weight, extent of daily physical activity and sugar levels. 3) to exercise daily for about 1 hour, so as to maintain normal weight, increase glucose utilisation and reduce insulin resistance. 4) to consume more of green leafy vegetables and salads, also permitted fruits (100 g a day). 5) refrain from alcohol and smoking, 6) avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries and sweetened aerated drinks (colas), highly processed foods, bakery items and high fat milk products. Thaks for the question.
