Bed rest for few days, back care always - avoid forward bending, avoid cross-legged sitting, sit straight, hot fomenatation, local gel application, lumbo-sacral belt can reduce back pain. Avoid freezed food and cold drinks. Always eat freshly prepared food.

Work in breaks. Do work in a single position for long time. Take a small break in every half n hour or jus change a position for few seconds. And do regular exercises after consultation with nearer physiotherapist doctor and need some ergonomic changes at work place.

This is inadequate information rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Kindly do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear lybrate-user no doubt first you have to go for mri cervical spine. With proven possibilities there may be evidence of pivd at c5/6/7 levels. Be cause shoulder affection is first in such injury. So go ahead.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Sumo joy 1 tab. Bd & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it doe s not give relief in 4-5 days, contact me again.

Hello start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Interval. 2) do not lift heavy weights or twist your spine 3) do not wear high heals do not ignore your back pain and do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

Hamstring stretching Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

You can take multivitamin tablet daily , to remain active Avoid fried fatty processed and sugary food Avoid cold drinks , packet juices completely Have plenty of green leafy veggies n fruits Exercise for one hr daily

You are very young and most of these non specific type of leg pains, fatigue and tiredness are due to deficiency of calcium and vitamin d in body, especially if there is no back pain and radiating pain in legs. Your Problem appears you may be having Lumbar Canal Stenosis. If you get relief from pain after you sit while bending forward, then you must go for a detailed Mechanical Diagnosis under a qualified Physiotherapist. Take a Lumbosacral XRay with Lateral Flexion and AP view. Revert back once done for proper advice. Hope it helps. Thanks.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

If this has been happening for a long time then it needs to be investigated. You can do some tests for that. Do keep moving the joints slowly and stretch the muscles. When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. 1. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. 2. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg (s) elevated. 3. Do this a few times a day. Note: do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite.

My answer to the first part of your question is, your daughter has to consult a general physician in order to rule out typhoid fever, malarial infection, jaundice, anemia or even dengue fever, because all the symptoms you mentioned here are few of the symptoms of such conditions. My answer to the second part of your question is, it is very very common in our country, adjustment problems with in-laws and husband's ignorance in such things. Almost every newly married woman has to face these kind of problems. The problem may be your daughter's incompetence to manage that emotionally. There is a chance for her pain behaviors arising from her unconscious mind crying for help to escape from this stressful situation. Ask her to be positive in her approach towards the in-laws, looking into and praising the positive aspects of them. And it is good her husband remains neutral without torturing her to obey his family members like many others do. Her stress tolerance will develop once she gets children and be busy with child-rearing practices and other future plannings with her husband. If she does not complain about her problems with in-laws, her husband may turn positive towards her in course of time. Until then, you can help her as a patient listener to her problems without giving any judgments or negative comments on anybody, which can give her ventilate her bottled-up emotions leading to relaxation to some extent.
