Practices meditation and prnayama will help you. Start writing your thoughts in paper your diary so that your internal feeling will come out. Whatever the thoughts just write down. In night start writing your positive thoughts in a diary, start the incidences of the day from which you get happiness. And start homeopathic treatment or bachflower treatment. Be patience with treatment and be confident of yourself. You will be perfectly alright. No need to worry. Take care Dr. Nikunj gupta.

Hi, free smartphone and tablet apps may be another helpful way to plan your quit. Apps such as the national cancer institute's quitpal can help you set goals, track your progress, and share your struggles and successes with family and friends. Quitpal can also support you with text reminders. Here are some other ways to get ready to quit smoking: set your goals. To achieve a long-term goal like quitting smoking, you may find it helpful to break the task into smaller goals. Every time you reach a goal, you feel a sense of pride along the path to becoming tobacco-free. A personal action plan can help you reach your goals. Set your goals clearly. Write down your goals, or tell someone what you are trying to do. Goals should include" by when" or" how long" as well as" what. For example" I will track my smoking for 1 week, starting tomorrow. Or" I will cut back from 20 cigarettes a day to 15 by this time next week. Set a quit date, and stick to it. This is an important step. Choosing a good time to quit can greatly improve your chances of success. Avoid setting your quit date on high-stress days, such as holidays. Reward yourself for meeting your goals. Quitting smoking is a difficult process, and each small success deserves credit. If you don't meet a goal, don't punish yourself. Instead, hold back on a reward until you achieve your goal. For example, give yourself something special if you succeed. Pace yourself. You may want or need to quit slowly by reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke each day over the course of several weeks. Set a comfortable pace. Certain activities won't be temptation-free for many months after you quit. Be realistic. You may feel very excited and positive about your plan for change. Be sure to set realistic goals-including a timeline for quitting-that you can meet. For example, your goal could be to cut back from 20 cigarettes a day to 10. Make some changes. Get rid of all cigarettes, ashtrays, and lighters after your last cigarette. Throw away pipes or cans of snuff. Also, get rid of the smell of smoke and other reminders of smoking by cleaning your clothes and your house, including curtains, upholstery, and walls. Don't let people smoke in your home. Take the lighter out of your car. Try some methods to reduce smoking, such as gradually increasing the time between cigarettes, before your official quit date. A smoking tracker can help you keep track of what triggers urge you to use tobacco. This gives you important information on when it's toughest for you to resist. 2. Get support you will have a better chance of quitting successfully if you have help and support from your family, friends, and coworkers. Others sources of support include: your doctor. He or she can help you put together a plan of medicines and nicotine replacement therapy (nrt) that works for you. This could be chantix or the nicotine patch, or maybe the nicotine patch along with gum for those times you need something more. Phone support (1-800-quit now). Telephone counselors can help you with practical ideas. Often they are people who have quit smoking themselves. Social networking. Many smartphone or tablet quit-smoking apps allow you to share your progress with your friends and family. This is a way you can get the extra support and encouragement you need when you're having a hard time or when you want to celebrate a new smoke-free milestone. Talk to a friend who used to smoke, and ask him or her to be a support person you can call when the going gets rough. Try a quit smoking program on the internet. These often have chat rooms. People who use telephone, group, one-on-one, or internet counseling are much more likely to stop smoking than people who try to quit on their own. Actionset. Gif quitting smoking: getting support if a partner or friend is quitting, you can help. Actionset. Gif quitting smoking: helping someone quit 3. Learn new skills and behaviors since you won't be smoking, decide what you are going to do instead. Make a plan to: identify and think about ways you can avoid those things that make you reach for a cigarette (smoking triggers), at least at first. Try to change your smoking habits and rituals. Think about situations in which you will be at greatest risk for smoking. Make a plan for how you will deal with each situation. Change your daily routine. Take a different route to work, or eat a meal in a different place. Every day, do something that you enjoy. Cut down on stress. Calm yourself or release tension by reading a book, taking a hot bath, or digging in your garden. See the topic stress management for ways to reduce stress in your life. Spend time with nonsmokers and people who have stopped smoking. Start seeing yourself as a person who is making healthy choices. Try chewing gums knickwic or nicorette to get rid of smoking be prepared for relapse most people are not successful the first few times they try to quit smoking. If you start smoking again, don't feel bad about yourself. A slip or relapse is just a sign that you need to change your approach to quitting. If any signs of withdrawl consult a doctor. Do not worry you will be able to change.

Dear, according to your situation, you should not try to mend up the issue. Because later, after marriage, the problem could escalate. The best option is to forget the episode. When you decide to forget the episode, the psychological trauma will end within some time. I think two or three counseling sessions and psycho therapy techniques should solve your problem. Let me know if you are willing to undergo counseling sessions and tailor made psycho therapy through mobile. Take care.

I have been very stressed out with work lately. Because of that I haven't been able to have a close time with my wife and we have started developing a lot of friction due to not having sex. Whenever we are close I've got this weird mental block in my head that stops me from initiating it. Furthermore even with such a long gap, my wife wants me to try new ways of doing it. This makes me feel more awkward since I was only comfortable doing it in the usual way which she says doesn't satisfy her. Very perplexed on what to do.

There is nothing perplexing about the situation: you clearly indicate that the stress at work is the cause. You can address that by visiting a counselor and when that is sorted out, life will be a lot better at home. If your wife is not working, then it will be a great need for her being at home and waiting for your arrival and for some pleasure too. If you are not able to satiate her, naturally there will much friction. If stress is the cause, meeting a counselor must and will change this situation. However, if that is not the reason, then you need to explore other factors with the counselor or a sexologist. You need to be aware that there must be innovation in the performance of sex and the repeated and monotonous attempt at a standardized approach will put your wife off. A sexologist will guide you on this and your bedroom life will stand to improve considerably and so will your marital life.

You should meet with a sexologist and see what went wrong. If you were on medication and you have stopped since there is a possibility to revive your sex drive. There are steps and measures to be taken and with your wife's cooperation, it is possible to make through easier. One bug fact to remember is that the brain is the most important sex organ. So a lot of work has to be done to prime the brain and to believe that you can do it. This will take some time and doing, to really achieve the erection and complete an intercourse.

The word depressed is a common everyday word. People might say" i'm depressed" when in fact they mean" i'm fed up because i've had a row, or failed an exam, or lost my job" etc. These ups and downs of life are common and normal. Most people recover quite quickly. With true depression, you have a low mood and other symptoms each day for at least two weeks consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated.

Dear lybrate-user. Thanks for your query. Antidepressant need at least 2 week to show their effect. Unfortunately some patients do not get improvement on one medicine so we have to try 2 to 3 medicine. In such cases we also do cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) which has significantly good results. Get your thyroid profile, Vit B12, Vit D3 done. Start exercise and spent time with friend and family member. Listen to loud music. In your case CBT will work better. All d best!

Hi, in general, anything that is good for your heart is great for your brain. Aerobic exercise is great for body and brain: not only does it improve brain function, but it also acts as a" first aid kit" on damaged brain cells. Exercising in the morning before going to work not only spikes brain activity and prepares you for mental stresses for the rest of the day, but also produces increases retention of new information, and better reaction to complex situations. When looking to change up your work out, look for an activity that incorporates coordination along with cardiovascular exercise, such as a dance class. If you like crunching time at the gym alone, opt for circuit work outs, which both quickly spike your heart rate, but also constantly redirect your attention. You can also do deep breathing/yoga/ meditation.

Dear lybrate-user, I understand your concerns. I went through the details. The duty of mind is to think. If you do not provide some creative task to the mind, it will start thinking. And almost always, the thinking is drifted to negative areas. Your obsession wih the movies are the reason for your mind's drifting towards that area. You should stop going for movies so as to stop the fmovie thinking. Secondly you should go for physical exercise and games. You may consult a psychologist for counseling and psychotherapy. I hope this answer satisfies you.. Take care.

Dear lybrate-user, masturbation is natural, normal and healthy if practiced within moderation. Before the age of 20 a person can masturbate once per day and after 20 thrice per week. Stick to the given frequency and you don't have to completely stop it. Divert your attention towards games, hobbies and social gatherings. Take care.

Stress is a by product of our modern life. Stress has effect on multiple system of our body and it could cause forgetfulness. Try fololwoing things on a regular basis and you will see the positive change. Ry following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. Hope this helps. Wishing you very best.
