Hi thanks for your question, I need to know what is your body weight, any alcohol intake, sleeping pattern etc, reducing body weight, cutting down alcohol consumption, sleeping one side are few preventive measures and as snoring is associated with cardiovascular side effects in a later stage it needs proper evaluation.

Please note the following in respect to your queries: there can be many reasons behind your hair fall - like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anemia. Take homeopathic medicine acid phos 1m/single dose (5 drops in little water) and revert after 2 weeks. Apply jaborandi hair oil. Also use arnica shampoo. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. Avoid stress and anger by meditation. Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. Take sound/good sleep. Avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight/ hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends.

Tell me name of antibiotic you are taking Follow health advises given below: measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food(If No drug allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 5. steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days Consult privately for further management

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

Hello Lybrate user- Prolonged menses or over flow during menses is known as Atyartava disease in ayurveda. Thickening of endometrium is not a good sign. It occurs due to improper diet and daily schedule. Try these tips to overcome this diseases- a) Avoid salty and spicy foods, avoid fast foods, green leafy vegetable and curd. B) Go to bed before 10 pm. C) Increase dairy product other than curd in your diet specially cow's ghee. D) Use Ashokaristha 2 tsp twice daily with water and tab pistil forte 1 tab twice daily.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Wheat chapati or jowar roti or any other cereal flour contains mainly starch. Which is ultimately converted to glucose after digestion. So whatever, one eats has to be in a moderate amount. Excess of any food is not helpful in controlling blood glucose. Basically for a person with diabetes diet restriction is a must. Total calories should be based on - ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels. Intake of green leafy vegetables should be more, which help in reducing the glucose levels. Hello- This acidic or harmful action of curd and lemon is only mentioned in ayurveda , so only ayurvedic doctor knows what will be its ill effects in near future, this is why allopathic doctors do not suggest to stop these even during menses. Curd is beneficial only if it taken with few rules specially mentioned in ayurvedic texts which are, do not use it continuously, do not use at night, use with sugar not salt, and do not heat curd as we often see in case of kadhi or in some curries.

Dear Mr. First, loose weight. Avoid heavy fried food at night. Give a gap between eating and sleeping of 2 hours or more. Stop smoking. Do medium exercise like walking and get a cardiac check up done.

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform.
