Dear lybrate user, you are stressed out and you know that you are stressed out. The problem is that stress becomes more and more difficult to manage when we start accepting that particular situations and activities will bring back the stress in us. In your case it is talking with another person. So you know that when you talk to somebody you will have shivering and high heart rate and since you have already observed this thing about yourself-this has become a recurring phenomenon in your life. First of all dissociate yourself with this fact by again in again repeating this activity and situation. Don't avoid talking with people. In fact make it a habit to talk to as many people as possible. You will have initial difficulty but as and when you continue giving yourself the same situation the difficulty in managing that situation will keep on fading and one day it will completely vanish. This is the best way that you can manage and conquer your fears. Regards

I am 34 years old male. I am suffering mild depression with migraine as along with diabetes, hypothyroid & allergic asthma. Recently I got check-up to psychytrist as he prescribe me anti-depression & migraine tab. 1/1. As it is = pregabid nt 1, amolife 10mg. My headache (migraine) haven't less. Will I continue it for long time or what would you recommended?

1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep.....massage your hair with good ayurvedic oil like bhring ranj oil.....sprinkle water in eyes...take sootshekhar ras...kaparda bhasm and godanti bhasm with honey two times a day.....pranacharya no tens capsule twice a day with warm water.....avoid tea...coffee....junk food...oily food....fermented food....stress...eat green vegetables....drink fruits juices...and 7-8 glass of water.....do pranayama early in the morning....walk for minimum 30 minutes in a day....

Migraine can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications, try muscle relaxation exercises. Relaxation may help ease the pain of a migraine headache. Get enough sleep, but don't oversleep. Get an adequate amount of sleep each night. It's best to go to bed and wake up at regular times, as well. Rest and relax. If possible, rest in a dark, quiet room when you feel a headache coming on. Place an ice pack wrapped in a cloth on the back of your neck and apply gentle pressure to painful areas on your scalp. It is very important keep a headache diary. Continue keeping your headache diary even after you see doctor. It will help you learn more about what triggers your migraines and what treatment is most effective. A dose of riboflavin in appropriate dose as prescribed under supervision, also may prevent migraines or reduce the frequency of headaches. Coenzyme q10 supplements may decrease the frequency of migraines, magnesium supplements may also be used to treat migraines.

I am 42 years old, had asd closure in 2010, presently suffering from backache, neck pain, migraine, joint pain, numbness. What should i do?

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am taking roseday 20, metolar xr 25 and deplatt A 75 that medicine reason of constipation, hard in remember, insomnia and laziness. I got first heart blockage at the age of 23 now I 25 and medicine still continue. No stent insert in my heart, just cleared the blockage and I am on medicine.

I have been operated for slip disc a year ago and am not able to move without support since. I have numbness in right foot and all along left part of that leg. Now there I feel a lot of pressure followed by heat in that foot often and it also gets swelling. Pls advise.

These symptoms seems to be due to neuropathy which may result of nerve compression or inflammation. Its better to switch over to ayurvedic treatment. Ayurveda treatment can give you good results for sure. Meanwhile keep taking neurobion fort.

What are the causes of facial nerve problem and bell's palsy and what is the solution cure from these?

Facial and bell's paralysis is loss of facial movement because of nerve damage. There can be many reasons for it. It can be due to any infection in nerve, any head injury, tumor, stroke, high bp leading to hemorrhage, any auto immune diease, the most common is ear infection or inflammation directly affecting your facial nerve as it passes through your ear. In physio we have very good treatment plan include: muscle stimulator - stimulate / strength the weak muscles those are paralysed. Facial soft tissue manipulation, facial exercises, pnf, etc so in general I would advice you to go for some treatment if possible visit some neurophysio who will guide you your treatment plan according to your problem. Please follow: 1. Facial exercises like eyebrow raising, drawing, wrinkling, deep breath from nose, smiling, ballon filling, jaw moments etc 2. Using your fingers massage the entire area of massage with applying any cream or talcum. Guidance required from physio. 3. If not that weak then you can apply hot pack also for 10 mins. Precautions: 1. Take eye care. Wash properly. 2. Use goggles when moving out from home. 3. Take mouth care. 4. While drinking or eating take care. 5. Guidance from neurophysio for life styl modifications. 6. If speech disturbed take opinion from speech therapist. Please consult me if you do not understand any point. Get well soon. Take care.

With a side effect of neuropathy, able to maintain 120 to 140 fasting and 150 to 170 post lunch with medication. Still feet are burning now at this stage I have to further increase medicine to bring down sugar or any relief medicine for neuropathy.

No dear. There is no such thing if you are an usual healthy guy. Take home made healthy diet including milk, egg, dal, vegetable, seasonal fruits, fish/ meat etc. Revision is sword for forgetfulness, for usual things use Dairy to remember things

Hye. Thank you for your query. It's possible you are keeping very long gaps in between meals or skipping meals. This causes a drop in energy levels leading to this kind of reaction. This then causes you to overeat in the next meal. Try to eat frequent regular meals. Avoid a gap of more than 3 hours in between two meals.

There are 4 stages usually. Depending on the type if brain tumour. In initial stage complete surgical excision is good enough. No added treatment may he required.

Causes of Insomnia : • stress • Anxiety • Depression • Pain • irregular schedule of sleep such as sleeping during day time & working during nights. • Excess intake of alcohol , caffeine (tea, coffee) • Due to drugs , Due to high blood pressure . • Aging These are some instructions & methods for good sleep : • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep .You can also do foot massage daily it destress you . • Do not take stress . Do meditation and long breathing pranayams to relax the mind. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant ,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Avoid sleep during day time as it makes it harder to fall asleep at night. •Try to sleep early at night . Do not think during sleep . Do exercise and long walk daily . • Avoid to take sleeping pills because these are habit forming drugs and these drugs disturb your normal sleep pattern. • Take a bowl of curd daily in afternoon and one glass of milk at night daily .

Dear Lybrate User, *Try to keep to a regular timing for going to bed *Avoid fried and heavy foods. Eat early and light food at night so that the food is almost digested by the time you go to bed. *Prefer fruits and green vegetables. *Fix daily work schedule and be busy with your work. Don’t keep pending problems in mind. Note down the points and leave them for next day’s action. *Don’t do stimulating mental work or keep watching TV which can keep your mind agitated or active. This will not allow you to sleep. LCD screen will also have adverse effect. *Day’s physical exercise makes you tired and induces sleep. *A warm bath in the evening will also be helpful. *Low volume music also induces sleep. *Keep your bed room neat, dark and cool. You may cover your eyes with bed sheet. *Drink plenty of water during the day rather than toward bedtime. *Don’t have stimulating drinks like tea or coffee *Drinking a glass of milk before going to bed is fine. *Daily Massage body with coconut oil and bath with warm water,
