Your child could be having an infection mostly a viral. Give 1) sy ondem 5 ml 3 times a day. For vomiting 2) sy. Crocin 5 ml 3 times a day for 3 days for fever. Extra dose of crocin can also be given if fever recurs. If loose motion starts give ors and plenty of water.

My son is 3 months old. His reducing substance test is positive and doctor has suggested us to give isomil to him and when I give breastfeed to him first I add 4 drops of yamoo drops. Now he passes stool little dense but there is a yogurt type smell from his stool. Doctor has suggested me to give zinc sulphate oral solution to him. Kindly suggest me in how much time my baby will be completely fine. Please tell me do I need to change my diet also.

Stool reducing substance being positive means lactose intolerance. I agree with the treatment. You can cut down lactose (milk) in your diet. Sometimes lactose intolerance settles on its own depending on severity. Some kids can tolerate some amount of milk but not too much. So you Will have to wait to see whats tolerable for your baby.

No you can give feed any time up to 11pm. But you should keep distance of two to three hrs between breast feed and soup.

Hi, A 3 year old girl is not supposed to be dry by night. Don't scold her much for this one. No excess water intake after dinner. Take her to toilet before sleep and three hours after sleep and 6 hrs after that. This is the first measure. Lots are still in the list. Thanks.

How do you deal with a one year old child who doesn't want to eat anything other than the mothers milk?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How do you deal with a one year old child who doesn't want to eat anything other than the mothers milk?
With patience!! I can understand that it is stressful but one has to wean gradually.you have to start by gradually allowing the baby to taste and try all the different types of foods available.first try with bland potatoes sweet potatoes, boiled carrots and peas.then you can spice up bit gradually.if he is not eating try to blend everything and then offer in a liquid or pasty manner.and try to feed him after he has played a while or when he has just woke up from his sleep.the times when they are actually hungry. don't offer food after the baby has been fed with breast milk. It is a very gradual process. It will be alarming only if the child starts showing signs of malnutrition, until then you just keep trying.

He is on breast or stoped. Now he is supposed to eat food himself by his hand. So just keep thali in front of him on table and ignore him. Don't teach pamper or request him. You will find he will start eating graduallly. In next 15 days.

Hi I have a 9 month old baby. How many times in a month do I need to give calcirol sachets? And how many times in a year?

The doses of vit D for a 9 month old is completely different from adult. Calceferol satchet has 60000 units. The baby requires around 800 units per day. U should give the paediatric dose rather than calcerol satchet after consultation with paediatrician.

These are very personal decisions based on personal wishes. I can only say if you want another baby do not delay as late age has its own problems if you delay more.
