One should avoid eating certain food and edible items completely to control falling of hair. Consuming Nicotine, Alcohol, Caffeine and Sugar can result in lowering of nutrient level your body drastically. This can lead to hair loss and high androgen production because of increase in adrenal levels in your body .

I am suffering with vitiligo. It has affected my body parts such as hands, legs, lips and public place. I am using melanocyl gel. But cannot apply this gel in public place. As I am unable to expose my public place to sun, because there is a lot of population in and around my house, so please help me as soon as possible.

Hey lybrate-user, as you are suffering from vitiligo, vitiligo is a genetic disorder trigger by indigestion and stressful conditions. There was always confusion in patients mind regarding choosing right treatment approach for vitiligo. Allopathy can give quick results but is not very safe for long term uses if steroids are used. Homeopathic is safe but very slow and in most of cases it can not stop the spread of disease i. E old patches shows some recovery but new white patches continue to come even when we are using homeopathy. If one think abourt using ayurveda there is no good vaidya who is expertise in vitiligo. At kayakalp global we have integrated external allopathic applications with internal ayurvedic medication to give fast and long lasting results. Ayurvedic herbal medicines are used to purify blood and stop the spread of disease and external application are capable of quickly start regimentation. You can contact clinic you can send pictures of vitiligo effected parts. We will review your case and will guide you best possible treatment and time frame required. Extra use of haldi and vit. C should be avoided in vitiligo.

I am facing on hair fall problem I used all of medicines and oils there should no results on graying hair what should I do?

BAMS

Follow these best tips for treatment of hair fall • Add protein containing items in your foods for healthy hair growth such as take a bowl of cereal daily and a glass of milk or 100 gm cheese or 1-2 eggs.. • Stress is one of the main cause of hair fall. To reduce hairfall, Practice Yogasana like SHIRSHASANA and SARWANGASANA only under the guidance of Expert. • you can use MAHABHRINGRAJ TEL of BAIDYANATH COMPANY and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. It increases blood circulation in your scalp and enhances hair growth. • Avoid the excess use of products such as hair colours or shampoo as they cause destruction of hair follicles. * Take Vitamin-E rich foods like dry fruits (Almonds, Pista etc) daily. * Apply the egg yolk to the scalp atleast once a week. It gives nourishment to hair root and enhances hair growth. You can consult me privately for more medicine treatment & your doubts.

Parachute is good. Consume 25 mg of sesame seeds everyday. You can chew the seeds in the morning, chew them nice, y and then have cold water. You may add them to your food. There are many ways you can consume it, it also adds flavor to the food and is rich in vitamins, minerals like, manganese, copper, etc.

Winters make me panic since I develop few small round patches mainly on my fore leg below knees. They start as a dot, reddish later lose their upper layer with slight itch and disappear as d summer enters. My dermatologist confirmed it s not psoriasis and suggested me to b on the continuous moisturizing lotions, Isn't there any permanent cure for these? Mine is an extreme dry skin n these patches r making it worse. Please do suggest.

Diploma in Anesthesia, MBBS

Please follow the advise of the dermatologist as he has seen the lesion. As for the permanant relief as your skin is dry in nature which has come from from your birth, what maximum can be done is controle the texture of the skin by using any moisturiser including home made one like milk, rose water etc. As the winter air will be dry even in seacoast, so by some means keep the skin moist. Good luck.

Causes of Allergy

MBBS, DDV
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Causes of Allergy

The risk of an allergic reaction is dependent on either host or environmental factors. An allergy is dependent on its host when the person is genetically predisposed for that allergy, either through inherited disease or congenital deficiency. An environmentally-dependent allergy is triggered when the person comes in contact with an infectious disease, an airborne allergen, pollution, or if they change their diet.

Genetic Causes

A parent with an allergy is more likely to pass it to their child, and the child's allergy is also likely to be more severe. Identical twins will share the same allergy 70% of the time.

Environmental Causes

A person is more likely to suffer from an allergy if they live in a highly industrialized country, such as factory-heavy regions. On the national level, allergies are more common in an individual that lives in an urban area as opposed to a rural area.

I am 26 years old, unmarried, and have acne all over my face and back and chest. It leaves a black mark every time which doesn't goes easily. Kindly suggest something for marks specially.

All the natural ingredients (Tretinoin, Hydroquinone and Cortisone) inlcuded in Melamet have only one goal: to improve your skin tone. Tretinoin helps prevent and treat acne and wrinkles by peeling off dead skin cells. Hydroquinone is the skin lightener agent in this equation that improves the overall tone of your skin. Cortisone is an anti-allergy ingredient that reduces inflammation and/or itching.' How to Use: Use the Melamet Cream just before bedtime. Wash it off in the morning, and apply some sunscreen if you intend to go outdoors. Failure to do so will cause significant damage and even result in your skin turning black.

Hello sir, I have lipoma problem since last 6 years. I got many treatment like ayurvedic, homeopathic, allopathy but no relief in my lipoma. Can you suggest any treatment for me. Thank you.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Treatment can include simple excision, endoscopic removal, or liposuction and it depends on the size, number and location of lipomas. Simple excision is usually done for superficial lipomas and is done under anesthesia by giving and excision and removing the contents of the lipoma. Then these contents are sent for histopathological examination. Liposuction has more recurrence rate but in surgical incisional removal, since it is removed completely, including the capsule, the recurrence rate is less.

Dear Scar are the fibrous tissue form on the skin in order to repair broken tissue. When there is an injury the skin produces more cells in order to grow the punctured skin that is known as scar. Scars always occur when the outer layer of the skin, the epidermis is cut and the injury extends to the dermis. The resulting scar does not have good blood circulation, is sometimes uneven and is less elastic. In addition, major variations in color are possible. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com
