My aunt is very sweet and loving. But on the contrary she gets violent even at 60 and hardly can control her anger. At times she gets very depressed about life and actually it is increasing day by day and she keeps ruminating over the past and recalling the past unpleasant memories. She feels alienated but it is not so. It is in her thought process. Everyone in the family loves n cares for her but she feels insecure. And one thing lastly she gets panicky about petty matters.

Your aunt is becoming old now and life becomes more difficult at this age. It becomes difficult for a person, to see that the body and mind is getting older. Older people have lesser patience. Because of this she might be feeling frustrated and sad. She might be having some health issues, which may be making her insecure and angry. Encourage her to talk about her past life experiences and when she is ruminating over it, validate her feelings. Try to understand the situations from her view point. All she needs is more love and respect. Give her responsibilities that she can shoulder. Involve her in family decisions. Make her feel important. Talk to her about "letting go" of things so that she will not keep worrying unnecessarily. Encourage her to pursue some hobbies or activities she could not undertake till now. Encourage her to have her own social circle. She needs to understand that if she becomes more positive and flexible about life, she can still enjoy life to the fullest and ultimately her anger will reduce.

I understand that you feel a loss of sensation and something pinches like a needle when you try to move your hands and legs. Don't worry, it is common and experienced by all of us when we sleep very deeply after getting tired. The nerves or branch of nerves gets compressed reducing the flow of blood in that area and you feel the numbness.

Hunching over a desk is a leading reason why people end up with crippling back pain at some point in their lives. But a few simple changes in the way you work can make your pain go away. 1-Keep your head up; Focus on aligning your head and neck right above your shoulders; avoid straining forward. 2-Be choosy with your chair: Pick one that allows your lower back to rest against a lumbar support. Then tilt the back of the chair so it’s very slightly reclined. 3-Plant your feet: Keep them flat on the floor and shoulder-width apart to quiet tension in your knees and ankles. 4-Take breaks: Getting up at least once an hour— just do some shoulder rolls—reduces pressure on spinal disks and boosts circulation. If your back pain is severe please go to a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your pain. Best wishes.

Hair loss, now-a-days, is common among males and females of all age groups. We all lose some hair strands everyday, however, some people lose more than normal strands in a day that can cause severe hair loss. Hair loss is mostly genetic, so if hair loss runs in your family, you are most likely to suffer from hair loss too. Hair loss happens either in clumps, that is overall hair loss, or focussed on any one part of head - especially the crown. While genetics play a big role, some additional factors can aggravate hair loss - hormonal imbalance, Alopecia areata, stress, thyroid disease, anemia, protein deficiency, chemotherapy, and low vitamin levels may cause hair loss in you. Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Eat eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, soya, lentils, whole grains. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Exercise daily to keep yourself healthy inside out. Next important step is to follow good hair care - Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using eggs, green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry, thyme, chamomile etc. Condition your hair using organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Rosemary tea once in awhile. A good dermatologist can successfully reduce hair fall by conducting some tests beforehand that includes blood tests, iron level, vitamin B, thyroid function tests and a biopsy of the scalp. Since some hair loss is temporary, your hair will grow back on its own without medical treatment. More serious hair loss can be treated with creams, oral drugs and surgery. Dermatologist can give your head a fuller appearance with the help of hair transplants and scalp reductions, which is successful both in males and females. To determine the best technique for your hair loss issue, consult a good dermatologist.
