You are young & diabetic you need sugar control and talk to your physician. The shoulder pain may be due to bad sleeping posture. So start neck exercise for relief.

Sir I am 41 years old man I have a pain in upper back side to right side solders till hands nee joint from two years. I have meet three doctors like orthopedic, spine specialist, and nero surgery doctors. They told to me that in my c-5 and c-6 nerve has some problem can you suggest me what should I do ?

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

My age is 23. My height is 6 ft. My weight is 80 kg. Earlier I used to eat 6 chappatis at times. At that time I was fit but from 6 month my meal is reduced to 1 chapati at a times. And I am having excessive hair growth all over body and chest enlargement and too much belly fat along with abdominal pain on eating something and whole body bone and muscle pain along with numbness and tingling. I had my cortisol check it came 234ng/ml. And serum testosterone 2.21 (due to over masturbation. Is not my cortisol os causing the symptoms. Is not it too high?

Hi, you r over weight by 6 kg. It has nothing to do with masturbation but certain changes in harmones r noticable, of course. You might b having gastric disorder * you should go for a brisk walk in d morning. Go for a vit d dificiency test. Take, homoeo medicine @ china 200-6 pills, thrice. # alfalfa q-10 drops, thrice with little water take, care.

Green tea can be taken once or twice a day . A general healthy approach is important . If she is overweight then she needs to reduce weight slowly and studily . Doing yoga regularly( with pranayam ) helps in regularising the metabolism . You can also try homeopathy which can address the gouty tendency and remove it .

I am 40 years old male. Five months back I had fallen from my activa vehicle and got hurt on my shoulder. The pain has not come down and I am finding it difficult to use my right hand to carry out my daily work. I have taken an x-ray which shows its normal. What should I do?

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Massage with your thumbs from the midpoints of your shoulder blade towards back of your head upto the lower edge of the ear on your either side. Use oil or water. Move only upwards only. Afterwards do arm rotation forward and backward slowdown report after 5 days.

I am 32 years old and feeling knee pain. I don' t think it is due over use because I do not play any hard sports which include running and all. I am not over weight as per my bmi and is within the range. I feel the pain when I use staircase but normal walk I do not have pain and after some one or two hour walk I feel some burning sensation for sometime which slowly reduces. I suspect it could be calcium and vitmain d deficiency please let me know what I can do.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is a common symptom amongst young age people and understanding is slightly complex. We commonly label it as chondromalacia - which means softening of the cartilage of knee cap undersurface. I would advise you to - do intensive ice packs for 3-4 times in a day - anti inflammatory medications which suits you - physical therapy - this is the mainstay of treatment. You need someone who understand the condition and can do strengthening of quadriceps and stretching of other muscle groups. - continue with calcium and vitamin d supplementation. Get some blood tests and send reports across to me: esr, crp, serum potassium, serum vitamin d and serum uric acid levels. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hello lybrate user, ankle sprain follow these steps: - consult a specialist - get an ankle and foot x-ray done - apply crepe bandage - strictly elevate your limb than your heart while sleeping using pillows. -strictly do not massage -apply ice for reducing inflammation - pain killer course. - avoid weight bearing god bless you.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: Take Mag Phos 12x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Rest. Ceasing activity for a few days allows injured tissue and even nerve roots to begin to heal, which in turn will help relieve lower back pain. However, more than a few days of rest can lead to a weakening of the muscles, and weak muscles have to struggle to adequately support the spine. Low back pain can be due to many different causes such as muscular, disc/spondylosis, joint/degenerative arthritis or in young people due to poor posture and weak abdominal and back muscles. Try simple stretching exercises for the low back and leg muscles. Use alternate ice packs and hot water fermentation over painful area as tolerated. Sleep over firm mattress, not too soft and not very hard. Be aware of your posture throughout the day. If pain persists then consult a orthopaedic physiotherapist. Good luck for quick recovery.

Your biody needs rest after over work. Let me know what is your job. Are you a student. If your physical work is excessive then let me know. For pain in legs you may take kali phos 12x thrice a day only (four tablets).

I am 60 years old, taking tablets for hypertension for the past 15 years. Developed pain in right knee. More pain during alighting steps or fast walking. Should I continue regular walking or walking will aggravate knee pain. Not started any treatment for knee pain yet.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Warm water fomentation and application of tumeric and alum paste to the area will help. Drink a glass of milk with pinch of tumeric in it at night daily for strong joints and bones. If still the symptoms persist you require treatment.

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. Some patients need more core strengthening while others benefit mainly from stretching and improving flexibility. Please consult a Orthopedic Physiotherapist for the right exercise plan. Best wishes.

hi ravindra pain in toe nails... it is because when we cut our nail with nailcutter, we almost cut the whole lateral end(edge), as nature whole nail grow automatically after cut... problem is lateral end (edge),where we cut it, this portion entered in skin, it's very slow procedure so never felt what happening... edge of nail enter in skin and grow upto limit becauae within skin nail doesn't have so space... then it started paining... with swelling... with local infection.... plz concern your near by doctor,and remove whole nail... don't worry, nice nail will come with in a month... clean every day use magso4 with glycerin dressing thanks
