You should start exercising regularly because exercise is the best way to increase your appetite. You should consume plenty of peanuts (atleast 100 gms daily, bananas, consume sweets in abundance for quick weight gain.

Spotting brownish blood and abdominal pain after 7 days of taking ipill. The withdrawal of blood with whitish thing is just a drop. What should I do? It's been 3 days I'm suffering from it. The word depressed is a common everyday word. People might say" i'm depressed" when in fact they mean" i'm fed up because i've had a row, or failed an exam, or lost my job" etc. These ups and downs of life are common and normal. Most people recover quite quickly. Hello lybrate-user, this kind of excess weight (119 kg) is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. It is possible that your skin condition is also due to underlying hormonal abnormality which is at root of your excess weight. It may be a good idea to consult a skin specialist as well as an endocrinologist. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. Calorie counting is useless. If you want to count, count nutritional value of food in terms of protein, fiber, good fat etc. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

First we hav to work on ur digestive system...Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day...Follow up after 1week...drink plenty of fluids..avoid constipation.

Eat small amount of foods.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,processed foods.No sugar,sweetened juice.Eat lots of whole fruits,watery vegetables.Take unrefined foods but not more.Take extra protein to loss weight.Use healthy fats small amount.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water specially before meals.Drink lukewarm water after meals.Take lukewarm water with lemon juice on an empty stomach in the morning and do exercise like swimming,skipping,push ups,sit ups,yoga,plank,squats.These will be very much helpful.

Level less than 20 is normal. Please get her Vitamin D tested. You can give her homoeopathic medicine rhustox 30-5 pills three times daily for 1 week. Revert back after 1 week with feedback.

Hello dear Anxiety is triggered due to some stressor present in our environment. Try to find out what causes you anxiety and try to eliminate those stressors. You can also try meditation and other breathing exercises to reduce your anxiety. Try discussing your anxious feelings with someone close and consult a clinical psychologist for its management. Try distracting your mind into other activities that make you feel good and relaxed.

Dear , describe your complains and also urine report. There are many reasons why you get recurrence or relapse of infection like wrong drugs, inadequate dose inadequate duration and wrong way of taking them, most important thing is to find out under lying cause which makes you susceptible. So far as I am conscern alcasol is not the treatment for infection and infection means you must have more then 5 pus cells in urine. If only alcasol gives you relief then you might not have infection after all. Dr. Kiran mehta.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Preserves a Woman's Body Post Menopause!

Menopause is a tricky problem for women to negotiate. Hot flushes, mood swings, night sweats, sleeplessness, and vaginal dryness are but some of the issues. It's a very similar position to that of puberty whereby the body is out of control and one's emotions follow suite. If a woman going through this time is facing added pressures with family or job she can lose her confidence and sink into a state of depression.

The effect on those around her has a bearing on her moods as they usually fail to understand what is happening to her. In my case the greatest thing was hormone replacement therapy which almost instantly corrected the problems. The brain cleared of its confusion, the other symptoms virtually stopped, and energy levels were restored.

The question many face is how safe is this HRT? Some studies link it to breast cancer and other diseases as a warning against it. But speaking from personal experience the risks of developing is far outweighed by the benefits.

  • As opposed to my situation my sister, five years younger, did not take HRT and she had a hysterectomy, which saw the female reproductive organs removed. By the time she was 50 she was diagnosed with the bones of an 80-year-old. She then suffered from osteoporosis with her bones, particularly her ribs, breaking with the slightest pressure.
  • On top of that she also has irritable bowel syndrome and other things, such as shingles. Her blood pressure was always low and other problems emerged. Although active and stoic her health went rapidly downhill and she died two years ago of pancreatic cancer at the age of 71. Now one can't say that HRT would have saved her from that but it certainly didn't cause the cancer.
  • By way of contrast my body is fit, healthy, strong, with no disease or blood pressure at the age now of 78. My brain is active and productive and most days I attend a gym. My bones are also strong with no sign of osteoporosis. I don't even get headaches or other things most people my age would normally suffer from. I don't even wear glasses.
  • While there are great benefits to be had from HRT it is my belief it also preserves the body well into old age. Cancers of the type they proclaim may be associated with it are, in my opinion, not related to it. Breast cancer is common among women of all ages and some die in their twenties from it.
  • To be rid of the awful symptoms of menopause is a great achievement by the medical scientists. They have made it possible for many women to remain a productive force in society. My mother who never had the benefits of it suffered and died at the age of 56 years.
  • While everyone is different and people have diverse opinions about what is good for their heath my suggestion is to go where your body takes you. Don't be frightened or put off by claims that are as yet unproven.

I am a diabetic and hypertensive. Using tablets for diabetes for 15 years. My sugar levels in recent days are fluctuating. No change in food habits and daily routine.

The effectiveness of Ayurvedic medicine in treating diabetes is well documented. It could also protect the vital organs from the adverse effect of high blood sugar level.
