Weight is not the issue. Calculate your BMI. It is calculated by formula Weight in kg/(height in meters) square.18.5 to 24.9 is normal. If it's below 18 then you are underweight and over 25 is over weight. Over 30 is obese..

Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month.

Tip- I will suggest you to take a shower with warm water or just wash your face, forearms,legs with soap and water at bedtime for a peaceful sleep and suhagra tablet contains sildenafil and perse I usually don't recommend because its a temporary feeling of erection and at that time it can cause headache and flushed feeling of the body resulting in restlessness and if taken for many occasions than it can cause penile ulceration And main thing is that you might get dependent on it lifelong.

Please take following medicine:- tm - 30 + kali phos. - 30 + bio. 30 / 5 - 5 drops from each medicines in one teaspoon of water thrice a day for two weeks. Keep a 10 to 15 minutes gap in between these medicines. Revert back after two weeks with feedback.

When and Why Should You Be Oiling Your Hair?

Grannies and mummies emphasize on the usefulness of oiling your hair. If they could, they would have made you do so regularly. Going outdoors with oily hair and an oily scalp is next to impossible in present times. On the other hand, pollution along with the fast paced lifestyle, takes a toll on your hair health. To counter the ills of dull hair, oiling is must. One must be aware of certain points while applying oil on his or her hair.

When should you oil your hair?

You should not be oiling your hair at any time of the day. People tend to stick to their feasibility and oil their hair whenever they find time out of a busy schedule. Use oil only when you decide to remain indoors for quite some time. Oil absorbs dust and grime easily and hence, going out with oil on your hair before a head bath will only dirty your scalp all the more.

Oil should be applied at night before going to bed. Letting your hair remain oiled overnight will strengthen the roots and hair follicles. This way you add nourishment and luster to your otherwise dry and frizzy strands.

The benefits of oiling your hair frequently:

1. Fights off dandruff: Dryness causes dandruff to occur. If you can deal with dryness, you are halfway through in dealing with dandruff as well. If you suffer from acute dandruff, the oil producing glands in your scalp will produce oil in meager quantities only. All these symptoms necessitate the regular application of oil.

2. Oil is effective as a deep conditioner: Oil, especially coconut oil acts as a deep conditioner. It can also be used to detangle your hair without much hair fall. Oil should be left on the scalp for a couple of hours to enhance complete absorption.

3. Repairs hair damage due to sun exposure: The ultraviolet rays of the sun make your hair brittle. Sun rays can also lead to discoloration of hair. Oil provides vitamins and other nutrients to poor quality hair, thus making it strong and shiny.

4. Feel rejuvenated by applying oil on your hair: Oiling one's hair is the best way to chuck stress out of the window. Oil can relax both your mind and body. Using lukewarm oil on one's scalp once in a while will improve blood circulation and will also relax the tense nerves of your hyperactive brain. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist and ask a free question.

Lybrate-user healthy food is the best best medicine for healthy body you should start eating small frequent energy dense meals instead of 3 large meal like stuffed paranthas with curd\ whole eggs\spoon full of desi ghee in dal or with roti, paneer, nuts, sprouts, pulses, chicken etc have shakes of fruits with added nuts drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water. Eat all seasonal fruits and vegetables. Manage stress do some moderate intensity exercises for 30 minutes daily. Mr. P lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is not clear what you are actually referring to by saying. When I am trying to sleep my nerves in head are beating and unable to sleep" Because nerves do not beat. What you saying may be related to some feeling of pulsation. This kind of a feeling may be there if your BP is high. Please tell me if you have hypertension and are you on treatment for that? If yes, what is the BP level now and the drugs with dosage. About the "motion problem" Due to diabetes some times there may be constipation as well as loose motions on some occasion. Please see that you take enough liquids every day. Plus consume a good deal of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits (permitted. Ones, 100 g a day) that to with well controlled blood glucose. Ideally when in control fasting glucose should be <100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg & HbA1c% <7. For reducing constipation drink a glass of hot water every morning after you are up in the morning. That will help in clear motion. Thanks.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello Doctor. Nowadays am afraid of everything I want to overcome fears. For example from recently am suffering from a severe backpain from 6 months then I consulted a orthopedic. He asked me to undergo MRI scan. Am unable to lie on the couch of the MRI scanner. I feel like I do not get enough air to breath and scared of going into the scanner. Hi there ~ You probably have generalize anxiety disorder with claustrophobia. You may feel like your worries come from the outside—from other people, events that stress you out, or difficult situations you’re facing. But, in fact, worrying is self-generated. The trigger comes from the outside, but an internal running dialogue maintains the anxiety itself. When you’re worrying, you’re talking to yourself about things you’re afraid of or negative events that might happen. You run over the feared situation in your mind and think about all the ways you might deal with it. In essence, you’re trying to solve problems that haven’t happened yet, or worse, simply obsessing on worst-case scenarios. All this worrying may give you the impression that you’re protecting yourself by preparing for the worst or avoiding bad situations. But more often than not, worrying is unproductive—sapping your mental and emotional energy without resulting in any concrete problem-solving strategies or actions. Once you’ve given up the idea that your worrying somehow helps you, you can start to deal with your worry and anxiety in more productive ways. This may involve challenging irrational worrisome thoughts, learning how to postpone worrying, and learning to accept uncertainty in your life. Exercise is a natural and effective anti-anxiety treatment. It relieves tension and stress, boosts physical and mental energy, and enhances well-being through the release of endorphins, the brain’s feel-good chemicals. Any exercise that engages both your arms and legs—such as walking, running, swimming, or dancing—can be especially effective. Instead of continuing to focus on your thoughts as you exercise, though, try focusing on how your body feels as you move. Try to notice the sensation of your feet hitting the ground, for example, or the rhythm of your breathing, or the feeling of the wind on your skin. By adding this mindfulness element, by really focusing on your body and how it feels as you exercise, you’ll not only improve your physical condition faster, but you may also be able to interrupt the flow of constant worries running through your head. Many people find weight training, rock climbing, boxing, or martial arts especially effective as these activities make it easier to maintain your focus on your body movements—after all, if you don’t, you could get hurt. For maximum relief of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), try to get at least 30 minutes of physical activity on most days—or three 10-minute sessions if that’s more convenient. Anxiety is more than just a feeling. It’s the body’s physical “fight or flight” reaction to a perceived threat. Your heart pounds, you breathe faster, your muscles tense up, and you feel light-headed. When you’re relaxed, the complete opposite happens. Your heart rate slows down, you breathe slower and more deeply, your muscles relax, and your blood pressure stabilizes. Since it’s impossible to be anxious and relaxed at the same time, strengthening your body’s relaxation response is a powerful anxiety-relieving tactic. If you struggle with GAD, relaxation techniques such as progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing, and meditation can teach you how to relax. Progressive muscle relaxation can help you release muscle tension and take a “time out” from your worries. The technique involves systematically tensing and then releasing different muscle groups in your body. As your body relaxes, your mind will follow. Deep breathing. When you’re anxious, you breathe faster. This hyperventilation causes symptoms such as dizziness, breathlessness, lightheadedness, and tingly hands and feet. These physical symptoms are frightening, leading to further anxiety and panic. But by breathing deeply from the diaphragm, you can reverse these symptoms and calm yourself down. Meditation. Research shows that mindfulness meditation can actually change your brain. With regular practice, meditation boosts activity on the left side of the prefrontal cortex, the area of the brain responsible for feelings of serenity and joy. Many people with generalized anxiety disorder don’t know how to quickly calm and soothe themselves. But it’s a simple, easy technique to learn, and it can make a drastic difference in your anxiety symptoms. The best methods for self-soothing incorporate one or more of the physical senses: vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch—or movement. Try the following self-soothing suggestions when your GAD symptoms are acting up: Sight – Take in a beautiful view. Look at treasured photos, works of art, or funny videos online. Close your eyes and picture a place that feels peaceful and rejuvenating. Sound – Listen to soothing music. Call an old friend. Sing or hum a favorite tune. Enjoy the sounds of nature: birds singing, ocean waves crashing on the beach, wind rustling through the trees. Smell – Light scented candles. Smell the flowers in a garden. Breathe in the clean, fresh air. Spritz on your favorite perfume. Taste – Slowly eat a favorite treat, savoring each bite. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee or herbal tea. Touch – Pet your dog or cat. Wrap yourself in a soft blanket. Sit outside in the cool breeze. Give yourself a hand or neck massage. Movement – Go for a walk or run, dance around, jump up and down or gently stretch. Support from other people is vital to overcoming generalized anxiety disorder. In fact, GAD only gets worse when you feel powerless and alone. Social interaction with someone who cares about you is the most effective way to calm your nervous system and diffuse anxiety, so it’s important to find someone you can connect with face to face on a regular basis—someone you can talk to for an uninterrupted period of time, someone who will listen to you without judging, criticizing, or continually being distracted by the phone or other people. Hello doctor I am 17 years old, the problem I am facing is that my stamina is quiet less, like if done a heavy work or just not slept for at least 9-10 hours, I feel very tired and experience body ache due to less energy in my body and due to much tiredness. For pimples, clear gel- apply after bath over pimples epiduo gel- apply at bedtime for 15-20 min then wash with water and then cetaphil moisturizer-apply moisturizer over full face klin face wash-as a face wash. Do not squeez n prick the pimples.

Hi lybrate-user to reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

As all steroids flucort also have several side effects. Like atrophy, striae, telangiectasia, acne, easy bruisability, hypertrichosis.
