Hello. I just thought that it was very important for me to ask you some helps regarding my friends injury. I have a friend who plays football, but it's been like 6 months without playing football because since then his ankle was injured. He says it started from spraining of his medial ankle and he is not able to walk long distances and run and this has been going on for 6 months now. He consulted the doctors in his country but they said he was alright which I think is not true because if it was normal he would be able to walk long distances.

Hello dear some time there will hair line fracture and it's always in controversy so have a digital x-ray it's so cleverly. And some time but most common ligament injury it's not seen in x-ray and clinical findings are like normal so don't worry about it. Do muscle strength exercise and use some support like bands or tape this pain will reduce.

Hello, Kindly follow advises given below: 1. strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular Physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga 4. avoid Tea coffee after 7 pm 5. you can take bath at bed time 6. Avoid day time sleep I am giving to some common reasons for LEG PAIN 1. generalized weakness 2. Anemia 3. physical exertion 4. lack of protein in Diet 5. any infection present on leg or foot 6. muscle weakness 7 abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise 8. Vit D and Calcium Deficiency so we have to evaluate cause in your case

Hi. Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? any underlying medical condition? the pain in legs can be because of - muscle cramps (due to tiredness or dehydration), shin splints (doing activity over and over on hard surfaces can bring this on. You may also be more likely to get shin splints if you have flat feet or your feet turn outward. Rest your legs to feel better. Ice helps), tendinitis (you can get it from overworking the calf muscle or climbing the stairs, apply ice to get some relief), sprains (do rest, ice, compression & elevation). Other causes are varicose veins, arterial disease, sciatica, diabetic neuropathy. Medication: meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - arnica 200 and rhus tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply schwabe's topi-arnica and topi mp gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

I can not understand whom should I concern neurologist, gynecologist, orthologist. My wife has severe problem I searched a lot but I cannot get answer from what she is suffering she is having back ache some time pain in legs joints also pelvic pain in nerves and burning sensation in urinary track heavy periods with heavy bleeding nosia vomiting due to this she has insomnia problem I thought its uti today she told me she is getting constipation with bleeding and pain in nerves. Dear lybrate-user, every doctor is complete in herself or himself, no matter what speciality the doctor choses to opursue. Of all the complaints of your wife that you mentioned the striking and significant complaints seem to be heavy menstrual bleeds, constipation and bleeding (in stools, I assume). The other complaints like pelvic pains, joint pains, nausea and vomiting are related to the chief complaints. I would humbly advise you to consult a gynecologist and obstetric surgeon, get examined, investigated (by usg if neeed) and rule out possible causes of heavy bleeds. She may also need investigations for hormonal profile and certain lab investigations too. An orhopedician may be consulted if joint pains are specific to his expertise.

Hello lybrate user back muscles are going to stiff due to muscle weakness hence you are advised to start some back pain free exercise follow by back muscle strengthening exs under experts advice. Take short intervals like stand or walk for two -three mins, some stretching exes on chair, correct your postures while sitting or standing.

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area

Hi I am having severe pains in my right heels. It worsens specifically in the morning while getting up from bed and while trying to get up from a sitting position. Please let me know the reason and what could be done to get rid of this. Is there any home remedy or medicine available?

Hi . I think you may be suffering from plantar fascitis or calcaneal spur. Take an xray, it may shoe extra bone growth in your heel if its calcaneal spur. First we concentrate on pain relieving by 7 days of ultrasound therapy. Meanwhile you can do contrast bath bath i. E. Immerse your leg in luke warm water with pinch of salt for 10mins then cold water for 10mins. Do it 3 times per week. When the pain completely subsides then do strengthening of sole of foot muscles by crushing towel by placing it under your sole on floor. Dont wear heels, use soft sole slippers.

This back pain is due to no back exercise. Due to this muscle get stiff. When suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start. In ayurved there is mentioned one procedure kati basti. Do this for five days with medicated oil if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation. So consult ayurvedic doctor near you. You will definitely get good result.

Hello doctor, I am suffering from legs and back pain. What I will do to cure from this.
: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Back pain. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Depends on what medicine you are taking. But generally there are no long term effects of adhd medicines. Atomoxetin can effect liver function tests but it is reversible on stopping the medicine. Methylphenidate is safe and has no long term effects. Regarding spine block injections kindly discuss with an orthopedic surgeon.

Approx 5 to 6 years ago when I carry gas cylinder for replacement of new cylinder.At that time left side of back mussel clump and suffering pain . 3 days I can't move any where.And can't turn for sleeping any side.Take high doze painkiller .Use Volini gel.Then get some relief .Take some days for normal. My question is in future I will face any problem for that above.

You appear to have suffered from acute back spasm. You are likely to get it again in case you lift heavy weights suddenly. Avoid lifting weights. Perform good back strengthening exercises. Maintain good posture while sitting.
