Neurological problems can cause tremors, but they can also be caused by metabolic problems and due to certain medication. Somentimes over writing may also the reason. If problem persist take advise with neurologist.

What & where does one get a cure for sleep apnea. Is there a test .What is the cost.
Hi Lybrate-user Yes there is a test for sleep apnea. It is called polysomnography or sleep study. This test is done overnight when you are asleep. It will involve connecting certain wires and electrodes which will monitor your breathing pattern, oxygen level in blood, air flow, ECG and many more during sleep. The cost varies on the level of sleep study. Basic study measures only 3 or 4 parameters. While a comprehensive sleep study have more than 20 channels. Thus it may vary between 2000 to 15000 depending on the number of channels. Finally treatment involves lifestyle modification, Using certain devices while sleeping and under special circumstances surgery. The treatment will depend on the severity of sleep apnea in sleep study.

Hi doc, I am a medical student. I have minute tremors which mostly get aroused during conditions like handling an object, or when I get scared or when I don't eat. My thyroid pro. Done b4 6-8 months were normal. I have this prob since last 4-5 years. What to do?

LCPS, BAM&S
Integrated Medicine Specialist, Pune
CML is a rare condition and you are fighting it. The medications are perfect and you should be able to lead normal life soon. So continue your treatment with a positive mindset. You will be alright soon. The real cause of tremors is just nervousness coming out of the battle. You are a brave young man. Toss all these jittery thoughts into air by the flick of mind and pursue your education with a focus. You will be a great doctor one day. Don't pat any attention to tremors. They will vanish the moment you neglect them.

Physiotherapist,
Dip your left foot in bucket full of lukewarm water for 15 min regularly for a week. And do some activity inside lukewarm water. This will reduce numbness and tremors in your left foot.
