I am facing problem in my back always paining when I sleep on bed or only pain when winters.
Backaches are a common health problem among middle-aged and elderly people, but at times young people also suffer from it. Some of the symptoms of a backache are pain in the back or around the hips, reduced flexibility of the spine and difficulty sleeping. Backaches can occur for many reasons such as muscle tension, improper diet, lack of physical activity, arthritis, excessive physical labor, poor sitting posture and pregnancy. A backache can make it difficult to carry out day-to-day activities. Natural treatments can provide quick relief from the pain and allow you to enjoy life again. Here are the top 10 home remedies for backache. 1. Ginger Ginger root, which is used to cure vomiting, can also be used in the treatment of back pain. The anti-inflammatory compounds in ginger can give you relief from a backache. Apply some ginger paste on the affected area, followed by eucalyptus oil.Cut thin slices of fresh ginger root and put them in a pan of boiling water. Simmer and boil it on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature and strain it. Add honey and then drink it. You can drink this ginger tea two or three times a day for a few days or until you see improvement.You can also make an herbal tea with one-half teaspoon of black pepper corns, one-half teaspoon of cloves and one teaspoon of ginger powder. 2. Basil Leaves Basil leaves can also come to your rescue when suffering from a backache. Add 8 to 10 basil leaves to one cup of water and boil it until the water evaporates to half.Let it cool to room temperature and then add a pinch of salt.For mild pain, drink this concoction once daily; for severe pain, drink it twice daily. 3. Poppy Seeds Poppy seeds work wonders as remedy of backache. Grind together 100 gm each of poppy seeds (khus khus) and rock candy (misri).Consume two teaspoons of this mixture twice daily, followed by a glass of milk. 4. Herbal Oil Massaging your back with an herbal oil can help your muscles relax and relieve pain. You can use any herbal oil such as eucalyptus oil, almond oil, olive oil or coconut oil. Heat the oil until warm and massage it gently over the aching area. 5. Garlic Garlic is another ingredient that can help treat a backache. Simply eat two to three cloves of garlic every morning on empty stomach. You can also massage your back with garlic oil. To make garlic oil, heat some coconut oil, mustard oil or sesame oil on low heat and then add 8 to 10 cloves of garlic to it. Fry the garlic until it is brown. Strain the oil and let it cool to room temperature.Massage your back gently with the oil. Leave it on for some time and then take a bath in warm water. 6. Wheat Wheat has compounds that produce an analgesic effect that can help minimize pain. Soak a handful of wheat in water overnight.In the morning, mix in cuscus grass powder and coriander. Then add one cup of milk and boil it for a few minutes until it thickens.Drink the mixture twice daily. 7. Ice Packs Cold compresses made with ice are effective in reducing pain and swelling. If ice is not available, you can also use a bag of frozen vegetables. Put a bowl of crushed ice in a plastic bag and wrap it in a towel. Put the compress on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes.Do this repeatedly, waiting half an hour between each application. You can also apply hot compresses to reduce backache. 8. Epsom Salt Epsom salt can ease pain and relieve inflammation. Mix Epsom salt with hot water to make a thick paste. Soak a towel in it and ring out any excess liquid from the towel. Put it on your back near and around the aching area. The heat from the towel will also reduce anyswelling.You can also add two cups of Epsom salt to your bathwater and soak your body in it for half an hour. 9. Chamomile Tea A hot cup of chamomile tea will help relax tense muscle tissues that can be the cause or a related symptom of a backache. You can buy pre-packaged chamomile tea or make your own. Add one tablespoon of chamomile flowers to one cup of boiling water and let it steep for 10 minutes.Drink one to three cups daily. 10. Milk Milk is a rich source of calcium that your body needs for strong bones and healthy muscles. Ensuring that your body gets an adequate amount of calcium can help alleviate and prevent backaches. Drink milk regularly. You can add some honey to sweeten it.You can also make a mixture of cuscus grass and sugar in equal amounts and consume it twice daily with a cup of warm milk. Hi lybrate-user, you can begin with eating 4-5 eggs in a week, during day-time - breakfast or evening around 5 - 6 pm. Also with egg, you need to increase your daily food intake, eat after every 2 -3 hours. Eat 2 toast with butter or cheese with egg in breakfast, or parathas. Have 2 -3 chapatis with rice, veg, dal, salad in lunch & dinner.

Hello- no, sanitary pads maintain proper hygiene during periods, but you should take precautions while changing the pad. Don't over use a pad, it will lead to vaginal infections.

Hello take alpha ha, 15 drops with water at the gap of 2 hours. Take kali phos 6x, 6 tabs twice daily and take sound sleep of 9 - 10 hours. You will feel better after getting up because you have headache due to lack of sleep.

Hi lybrate user. At first you have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take food two times in a day only 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) avoid late night sleeping habits 4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast and fermented foods. A) take one tsf of avipattikar churna and half tsf of lavanbhaaskar churna after meals. B) take 30 ml of khadirarishta and 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 60 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for thirty days and reply me for further suggestions. Thanks.

She needs to be taken to a psychiatrist for assessment. If she is very shy, go for online consultation with a psychiatrist. Her symptoms and severity can be evaluated by standard instruments and remedy advised. Some tests like Hemogram, blood test for thyroid hormones needs to be done, if suspected.

Love Your Heart - 15 Ways You Can Keep it Healthy

Let's understand the function of our heart and how to keep it healthy! Our heart is a muscular organ, located just behind and slightly left of the breast bone. It pumps blood through the network of arteries and veins called the cardiovascular system.

The heart has four chambers:

  1. The right atrium receives blood from the veins and pumps it to the right ventricle.
  2. The right ventricle receives blood from the right atrium and pumps it to the lungs, where it is loaded with oxygen.
  3. The left atrium receives oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle.
  4. The left ventricle (the strongest chamber) pumps oxygen rich blood to the rest of the body. The left ventricle’s vigorous contractions create our blood pressure. The foods you eat, the amount of activity you do as well as your lifestyle can dramatically affect the overall health of your heart along with many other tissues that make up your cardiovascular system. Unhealthy eating habits can lead to various Heart Disorders.

Let’s look at the ways to keep it healthy!

  1. Healthy mind healthy body, so it is important that you take peaceful 7 to 8 hours of sleep.
  2. Keep yourself out of stress, involve yourself in regular some stress buster activities.
  3. Keep a check on your Blood Pressure.
  4. Cut your saturated fat intake and make an effort to check the ingredients of your intake. Too much of bad cholesterol can clog the heart and arteries with dangerous plaque.
  5. Keep a control on your blood sugar level.
  6. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day, if you're doing nothing, do something and if you're doing something, do extra.
  7. Eat more fruit and less fruit juice.
  8. Control obesity and keep your body mass index(BMI) in controlled level to be fit.
  9. Quit smoking as soon as you can and get yourself into having something else that you like at regular intervals, which is healthy.
  10. Cut your calorie intake and cut your sugar sweetened soda and keep check on all your sweet temptations.
  11. Eat lot of Seafood.
  12. Find ways to keep yourself happy and out of worries, be with lively people.
  13. Breathe slowly and deeply for a few minutes a day.
  14. Get yourself into Yoga.
  15. Keep a regular check of your hearth health under your doctor’s guidance. 

Leave aside all your worries! Have a Healthy Heart and a Healthy Life!

Hi,Male-pattern hair loss, also known as androgenic alopecia.Men typically present with hairline recession at the temples and vertex balding. So they can try Homoeopathic medication that is based on constitution and work wonders. 1. Take Acid phos. 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. 2.wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. 3.Natrum mur 6x, 4-4 tabs once a day. 4. Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. 5.Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) 6.Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. 7.Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, at daily night . 8.Add more proteins to your daily diet and eat walnuts for good hair.
