Yes there are good chances of conception after taking tablets for ovulation. Exact timing cannot be said will depend on the formation and rupture of egg.

I didn't felt well past few days and consulted a physician. He said I was hypertensive and suggested to do certain investigations like TFt, usg abdomen, KFT, Ecg, and 24 hour urine vma. Everything was alright. But I still have hypertension sometime. What could be the possible reasons?

Hello there, hypertension is broadly divided into primary and secondary types, where the former variety is of more in incidence almost 90-95 %. However you were asked to get those tests done so that secondary hypertension can ruled out. Primary htn is caused by factors such as genetic and lifestyle factors and etc basically its not due to any other disease. Hope this helps. Keep on taking meds and proper diet and other changes would surely help.

Why the body is swelling if TSH and Anti TPO is normal. I had test for thyroid disease because my body was swelling. The report says that everything is normal apart from deficiency of Vitamin -D. So I am not understanding if the reports are normal then why the body is swelling. It is swelling all around the body. Within 6 months I had gained almost 15 kg. So suggest me what to do right now at this stage.

Rapid weight gain could be related to various hormonal disorders or more commonly related to unhealthy lifestyle. It can happen with normal thyroid function. You need to be evaluated for cause of rapid weight gain and also metabolic complete of overweight/obesity. You can consult me privately online but better would be personal visit in clinic.

Hello It is important to know the cause of back pain whether only muscle pain joint or nerve root pain due to slipped disc.. Ideally an Mri of the Spine should be done..Till then she should take bed rest Avoid bending and lifting weights.. Can apply hot fomentation like hot bottles.. You can consult for medications

Hello sir my dad is severely suffering from back ache since 2 months! The pain starts from left buttocks and till toe, he can't sit and can't walk, its paining a lot to him! I have consulted many doctors like neurologists, ortho and done with many massage, physiotherapy, acupuncture but still he is doing the same! Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Gain weight healthily by eating 5-6 meals a day, even if they are slightly smaller than usual. Make sure each meal includes healthy, calorie-dense foods like nuts and full-fat dairy, as they will help you gain more weight without feeling too full. If you don’t feel like you can eat more, drink liquid calories like 100% juices or smoothies because, since they tend to be less filling than food, they allow you to consume more calories overall. Eat healthy foods that are calorie-dense. When you're trying to gain weight it's important to maximize the amount of calories you can consume with each meal and snack. Calorie-dense foods are items that are high in calories per serving.Consume these foods with each meal and snack. Calorie dense foods to incorporate into your diet include: nuts and nut butters, avocados, full-fat dairy products (cheese, yogurt and milk), butter and oil, and eggs. Also use full-fat condiments like regular mayonnaise, full-fat cream cheese or full-fat salad dressings. Not all high-fat foods are healthy or appropriate to eat more frequently or in larger quantities. Minimize these foods: fast food, deep fried foods, candy, and high-fat processed meats (bologna or hot dogs). If you're eating multiple times throughout the day, you may feel more full. This may lead to smaller meals instead of several large meals. Even when meals/snacks are small, if they are calorie dense, they can help induce weight gain. Add extra calories to meals and recipes. In addition to eating more calorie dense foods, you can also increase calories in your favorite meals and recipes. Adding extra foods or using higher calorie ingredients in your recipes is an easy way to bulk up your total calories. The more of a caloric punch you can add to meals, the more calories you'll consume over a given day and week. In recipes, use full-fat dairy products or dried milk in soups, stews or casseroles calling for water. Drizzle extra olive oil or add an extra pat of butter to salads, steamed vegetables, soups and casseroles. Top lower calorie foods with high-calorie toppings. For example, top whole milk yogurt with nuts and granola or top your salad with full-fat shredded cheese and sunflower seeds. Perform strength training activities. Strength training can aid in your weight gain. As you build lean muscle mass, you may notice your weight increases. This is highly important when attempting to gain weight. Many people do not realize that exercise is crucial to weight gain, just as it is to weight loss. Strength training activities include: weight lifting, isometric exercises (push-ups or crunches) and Pilates. Strength training does burn calories, just not as many as aerobic activities. Here are 10 best ayurvedic tips for hair growth:

1. Bhringaraj – The king of Herbs:

This herb is also known as king of herbs in ayurveda for hair because it has the property to enhance hair growth. All you need to do is make a paste out of the leaves and apply it on the scalp for some time before washing it off. Some people do not have easy access to this herb, thus, you can grab a pack of dried Bhringraj, steep 5-6 tbsps in warm water and apply the paste for 20 minutes before washing off. Doing this on a regular basis promotes hair growth.


2. The Aromatic Jatamansi:

A common name for this herb in ayurvedic medicines for hair growth is Muskroot or the Indian Spikenard. It has the power to remove blood impurities as well as give a glowing complexion. You can either consume it in the form of capsule (sticking to not more than 6mgs) or applying it directly on the scalp.

3. Methi – Miracle Herb:

Methi is a commonly used herb in our households, an excellent remedy for hair growth. Grind some slightly dry roasted methi, make a paste of it in warm water depending on hair length and keep it on for 20 minutes before washing off.

4. The Indian Goose Berry:

Better known as Amla or Amlaki, this ayurvedic solution for hair fall helps in treating indigestion and purifies the blood. It is also rich in Vitamin C, which solves many hair problems from within. Grab dried /powdered Amla has to be mixed with warm water and used on the scalp to promote thick and black hair. It also imparts colour and solves other problems.
