Hello jatin back pain can be due to many reasons it may be due to sprain.any jerk.wronh posture.disk problem.etc so if it severe then rulw out the cause by meeting a specialist. for imediate relief you can do hot water bottle sake for 15 minutes two times a day and apply remalya liniment on pain region. avoid any weight lifting.running.long travellings.jumping etc for two weeks.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hi I am suffering from chicken Gunya from 10th Nov. Although I had fever only for a day by my joint pains a lot. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Your work schedule is your problem firstly improve your posture sit straight. -according your age no major issue. Take physiotherapy treatment for relief. Avoid forward bending. Walk between work after 1hour. With physiotherapy take stretching exercise. And keep continue exercises in daily routine.

Dear , backache can be due to following reasons: 1) bad posture while sitting and bending 2) problem of herniated disc 3) muscle spasm 4) fascet lock 5) sacroilliac joint dysfunction 6) lumbo sacral hypo mobility so I request you to send me the x-ray of your lumber spine to diagnose properly. If it is due to postural muscle spasm, then it can be cured by postural correction.

N- for leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hello, Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? Any underlying medical condition? Medication: Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Avoid lifting any weight for few days. Get back to me thereafter.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Follow these usefultips for arthritis pain relief: * take take calcium rich diet daily. First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise.

I' m 33 male, i' ve been having pain only on the right side on the back, at the base of the spine, could it be slip disk as it is not present on the left side?

It could be due to slip disc or low vitamin d levels. Even if u have slip disc it not very severe as the pain is not going down the leg. Get your vitamin d levels done (blood test) fasting and do spinal extension exercises (physiotherapist can teach you) 20 mins 3 times a day. Revert back with reports.

I am a 63 yrs old retired engineer. My both hands' fingers esp thumb and fore fingers are numbness ie less feeling always feeling pressed ie uncomfortable. Its there for now 3 yrs. Beginning it was less now after 3 yrs its getting more tensed. From 1970 to 2014 I was smoking and now for 5 months stopped.

Females do have this problem. I advice you not to stand for too long and always use pillow under your legs while sleeping. Get screened up for bp kft lft and consult your gyne doctor for low mense. Females generally have physiological swelling. It can be normal also.
