Take the following treatment - 1. Take 4 tablespoon of aloevera juice with one tablespoon of honey after dinner. 2. Take 4 tablespoon amla juice + 2 tablespoon honey on an empty stomach in the morning. 3. Take chandraprabhavati 2 tablets twice a day. 4. Avoid junk, bakery & spicy food. 5. Maida is very harmful for body, so avoid it. 6. Have all your meals on time. 7. Drink lots of water 8. Fruits rich in vitamin c and green leafy vegetables help in acne.

Take small and frequent meals in the interval of 2-3 hrs. Drink lot of water everyday. Take high fiber diet to reduce fast.

My left hydrocil is larger than right, how it can get to normal size with out operation. Can it get treated by some medicine ?

If you are sure that it is hydrocoele, then no medication will be helpful. Only treatement for hydrocoele is surgery. However your question is incomplete. Please write back with your symptoms, what problems you are facing actually.

Hello lybrate user it is age factor and vata influenced symptoms. You may follow some regular routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as yoga and exercise every day. Morning walk and anulom -vilom pranayam 5 minutes two times daily. Meditation practice two times daily will help you lot. Regular pracrice of exercise, yoga, pranayam and meditation will activate your inner intelligence and memories.

What is stress?

There are situations in life when a person is required to perform beyond his/her normal capacity, or situations when some expectations are not met. This creates anxiety, fear and anger. This is a situation where a person feels inadequate, under-confident and experiences loss of control. This affects a person's physical and mental wellbeing. This feeling of fear, anxiety, restlessness is commonly known as "tension or stress".

Symptoms of Stress :

  1. Anger and Aggression: While under stress a person starts doubting his/her own capacity and efficiency because he/she feels inadequate or incapable of performing certain tasks. This creates a lot of anger or frustration and sometime, may result into aggressive behaviour. 
  2. Irritability: Under stress people get irritated for no reason. There is loss of patience, loss of sense of humour.
  3. Sleep Disorders: A person under stress may not be able to sleep at all or in some cases sleep excessively.
  4. Eating Disorders: A person under stress may lose appetite or in some cases, tend to overeat resulting in harmful effects on body.
  5. Anxiety: Stress may cause a lot of anxiety and restlessness. The person under stress may not to able to concentrate and unable to focus on any activity, making things more complicated.
  6. Depression: In a few cases a person under a lot of stress may go into depression.
  7. High BP: Body and mind are closely connected. Hence stress in mind creates stress in the body and under stress, blood pressure may rise.
  8. High Sugar Level: Stress may increase the blood sugar levels.
  9. Headache or Unexplained Body Pains: Stress may cause headache or body aches in different parts of the body, without any physical reason for it. 

Sometimes, there may not be any symptoms for stress but the trauma manifests in the form to heart attack, Stroke etc.

What causes stress ?

  1. Relationship Issues - Conflicts in relationships is a major cause of stress.
  2. Life style - Working for long hours, sedentary life style, unhealthy food habits, along with insatiable urge for money causes a lot of stress.
  3. High expectations from oneself and from others - The peer pressure, the pressure of constant deadlines builds up a huge stress. When a person has very high expectations from himself/herself without corresponding efforts, there is a fear of failure which causes lot of tension. At the same time, having unrealistic expectations from others also is a definite reason for disappointments, resulting in stress.
  4. Physical and Emotional Abuse - When a person is physically or emotionally abused and unable to defend himself/herself for various reasons, it causes frustration. This results in anger and stress.
  5. Competition - Unhealthy competitions with others create a feeling of inadequency and result in lower self esteem and sadness, thereby causing stress.
  6. Health Issues - Chronic and serious health issues cause lot of tension.
  7. Suppressed Emotions - Lack of freedom to express own emotions and feelings, amounts to stress.
  8. Lack of Assertiveness - Inability to say "No", when wanting to say so, inability to fight for one's own rights, causes tension and anger.
  9. Boredom - Lack of creative/interesting occupation may cause stress especially in old people or people with physical disabilities.
  10. Low self esteem, feeling hopeless and helpless - If a person has low self esteem and does not value oneself, it causes lots of negativity and stress.

Why stress management is important?
Body and mind affect each other's functioning. When the mind is stressed out, it gets reflected in the body in the form of high blood pressure, high sugar levels, indigestion, acidity, heartburn, ulcers, skin rashes, headache, nausea, cancer, eating disorders, psychosomatic pains etc. It may trigger asthma, migraine etc.

Because of these harmful effects of stress, the body's capacity to function reduces. At times, it may cause serious threat to one's life. Hence, it is very important to learn to relieve and also to manage stress, in order to have a long and healthy life.

There are a number of ways to relieve stress:

  1. Sleep, take rest, relax.
  2. Take a break from daily routine, do something different, take a short vacation.
  3. Go for a walk/jog/run/cycling. Practice Yoga, meditation, deep muscle relaxation, etc.
  4. Spend time with friends and family.
  5. Play with children.
  6. Spend time with pets.
  7. Pursue a hobby like reading, gardening, painting, music, dance, singing, cooking, etc.
  8. Recreation - Watch a movie, play, picnic, go for a drive or shopping.
  9. Pamper yourself with beauty treatments, massage, or your favourite food/drinks. 

How to manage Stress?
Stress is inevitable part of life now. Right from a kid going to Pre-Nursery school to senior citizens staying alone at homes and having severe health problems; all are under lot of stress. No one can avoid stress. But there are certain ways to manage your stress-

  1. Self-awareness. Learn more about your own self. Understand what induces stress in you, what tasks are difficult for you, what situations are difficult for you and then try to figure out the reasons why it is so. Try to resolve or modify your thoughts and attitude.
  2. Identify stressors and explore options. Once you identify what is causing your stress, try to find more options to resolve your issues.
  3. Reasonable Expectations and Feasible Goals. Have reasonable expectations from yourself and from others. Have goals which are possible for you to achieve.
  4. Learn assertive techniques. Learn to express your feelings, learn to fight for your own rights, understand and respect other's rights.

Try to minimise stress in life and lead a happy healthy life.

Eat your food at least 1 hour before you go to sleep and also make sure you are eating light food, plenty of water no spices, no fried food and you are chewing your food properly before swallowing. You symptom is typically of indigestion causing heart burns (a kind of acidity attack). Do not rush in life. A good sleep is essential to maintain proper stamina, performance and stable health.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

१- लहसुन छिला हुआ 25 gm
२- अदरक (ताज़ा) 50 gm
३- पुदीना fresh 50 gm
४- अनारदाना खट्टा 50 gm

इन चारों चीज़ों को पीस कर चटनी बना लें। और सुबह, दोपहर और शाम को एक-एक चम्मच खा लें।

Hello, a male having a beard is normal. It depends on person to person at what age they start developing facial hair. The growth of coarse hair on the face and other parts of the body is a result of increase in testosterone hormone in the male body. Dermatologically speaking, it doesn't make much difference if you plan to sport a beard or otherwise except that some research is of the opinion that keeping a beard protects the skin underneath from the sun and keeps thr skin young. But they are all anecdotal reports and the authenticity is questionable. So to answer your question, its a personal choice.

This is the 17th week from the day I had intercourse with a escort. From last 1 week I am having the continuous burning sensation on tip of my penis and sometime pain spread to testicles. 1 week before the pain was acute but now it does not hurt much. Sometime I find little pain while urinating and sometime for days I feel ok. I do not have any discharge coming. No pus, no yellow or green fluid. Sometime I feel like something is coming from my penis but nothing comes. I do not have any symptoms like rashes or blisters. This thing happened when I had a much alcoholic consumption 1 week ago and the next morning I woke up with this feeling. Now the pain spread into my back. I have a joint pain issue from last two years but for the last week it got increased little bit. I thought it was UTI but I was do not have any symptoms like peeing again and again and continuous burning sensation. I got little etching but my skin seems to be clean. I also had a anxiety as soon I finished the intercourse. Because I had a doubt that she had a STD. I started taking PEP withing 60 hours. The after 1 month back I tested for PCR DNA. Which came out negative. I did a protected intercourse but I still doubt that I used it properly as it was my first time I had intercourse. Badly Irritated about the burning sensation in the tip of my penis. Pain is normal and bearable but sensation continues. I took advice of Urologist. There was no UTI infection. He said be to go for STD test again and gave some medicines for relief but conditions are same. I have checked for herpes, clamdiya and Gonnorea and they all were negative. I also did pcr dna test after 17th week and it was undetectable. Can I get a false negative result after 17th week. Urologist said to do endoscopy as all reports were negative. 120 days over, this is to be noted that after checkup and after 120 days I am getting seroconversion (ARS) symptoms. Had a small lump in my groin (i guess it is a swollen lymph node), pain in eyes ,fissure (from 2 week) neck pain, blisters on right cheek (big fluids pimples), mouth ulcer for 2 days (and den vanished) and gastro issues. Back pain (pain got less within week) and little heaviness in my back head and I have that feeling when I close my hands something under my armpit feeling. I have suffered all these issues earlier too. Now within week, they all are coming together, is a indication of something? May be my immune was strong, so I seroconverted late after 4 months? Can PCR test be false negative after 3.5 months? I am scared of being tested again as I afraid of being seroconverted. Seems like bad luck after using protection, prep medicine, getting the negative hiv in pcr test, still getting seroconverted. Seeking for emotional help Very scared! seems to be like a dark future! I know hiv patient can also live the normal life like others but having Suicidal feeling in the society where Hiv is a taboo! taking mobizox, Pan20, contiflo and Livoluk and lox jelly for piles. Back pain near rib was enormous when moving. Pain started from lower back then moved to upper left back near rib when moving now pain.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user. Read your query completely. The symptoms are haphazard may be due to antibiotics usage. First of all stay calm as you have protection during the intercourse and the DNA PCR is negative. Simply perform HIV antibody test after 3 months and that is enough. Remember you are an educated and in youth. It's your responsibility to fight against a taboo rather fearing it blindly. We will not disclose patient's status to anybody and a HIV patient who takes ART medicine regularly is no way different from normal person in any way. Be brave You have not mentioned whether your VDRL report is negative or not. And there is swelling in groin suggests lymphadenopathy and mostly due to Syphills and There is history of mouth ulcer as Syphills can transmit through genital, anal and oral route also. So perform VDRL test again with FTA -TBS or TPPA. Consult a dermatologist for further follow up If you still have a doubt and need further assistance please contact.

To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
