I hv a oily face and get easily tanned when comes in cntct with dim sunlight and I hv also small small spots on cheeks suggest me for getting rid of this tanned face and these spots.

For the tanned skin, you need to apply Berberis Aqua Q over it for 2 times in a day for 2 weeks. And avoid getting in direct contact with the sun. Take care. :)

Hi Doctor, I feel tired almost all day, at the same time my eye's feel pain is this reason of sitting in front of laptop around 10 or 11 hour? Please suggest what should I do?

hi kanchan as per question, you might consume your whole energy seatting front of laptop... seating such hours together front of laptop can harm your eyes... so plz avoid if it Is not possible you may poured gulab jala in eyes daily use anjana... use glass front of eye to avoid direct contac from rays...

Actually if I drink more water then I have to go to urine so many times. If I drink less water then I will urine in yellow color and getting pain at penis. Please advise.

Please note that the normal color of urine is straw-yellow. However if you have pain when not urinating then get urine check for r/e & culture to rule out any UTI.

I understand your concern because, this kind of extra weight is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it may not reduce weight much. Calorie counting is useless. If you want to count, count nutritional value of food in terms of protein, fiber, good fat etc. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works (moves your weight in right direction) then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of individualized nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

Please don't use any creams or lotions. It suppress the sebum secretion and block the pores which leads to bacterial contamination and results in more pimples. The other causes of pimples are hormonal imbalance, dandruff, diet rich in oil and non veg, poor hygiene etc. Treating acne in the right way at the earliest will remove pimples without any scarring and gives a long lasting results. Dear sir, I reside in electronic city, bangalore. My mother is 69 years old and has complains of acidity. She also complains thrubbing pain in her knees in the night. I would request a guidance for her treatment.

She would probably have osteoarthritis of knees at her age, the question is how severe. We need x rays of both knees ap and lateral views for the same. Also get vitamin d levels and uric acid levels. Painkiller wise we can' t give her anything strong because of her acidity, we can however give her some medications to improve the lubrication of the joint or some injections into the joint for the same. The above however are only effective if her arthritis is mild to moderate, if it is severe she will need a knee replacement.

It is normal to lose about 30-80 strands of hair in a day. To increase the blood (hb) in body - * take all iron rich vegetables in good quantity everyday like spinach, methi, cabbage, beet root, carrot. * take one citrus fruit like orange everyday or take lemon water once a day. * avoid tea & coffee as they destroy the iron content of food. * take 1/2 teaspoon of amla powder with water once a day. * take one tablet of punarnava mandoor of baidyanath company with water 2 hours after meals once a day for 8 weeks.

Dear sir, I am 48 yrs (male). I have multiple problems. I am diabetic. Recent measurement is ff: 160 & pp: 186. Have cholesterol of 247. Taking gluconom g2 morning & evening before meals/dinner. But the main issue I am going discuss is my shoulder pain. Having pain at neck and left shoulder which results my left arm. Its feel like pins in the left arm just below the joint and its seems the less blood circulation to left arm. I am also taking some homeo medicine (don't know the medicine) please advise.

Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain.garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

When you will start going outdoors, you will attain the earlier color again. Staying I doirs means, no contact with sun, dust, pollution, no sweating etc. Once you start going, little tanning, little dust will make your skin the same again.

You have masturbation problem. I advise you to do meditation for mental strength by doing slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water and fluids. For better treatment, consult privately.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

While urinating, the urine passes tightly, and initially urine passes very thinly, and have to put slight pressure for the urine to pass. It is generally happening g at night, and because of the frequent urination, the sleep also get disturbed. I wake up 2 or 3 times for urination at night. Day time iit is almost comfortable. Please advise remedy and why ity is happening so?

Hi, you might be suffering from benign hypertrophy of prostate (bhp). Kindly undergo an ultrasound lower abdomen, urine routine examination and few things for precaution: before passing urine run the tap nearby so that you can hear the sound of water flowing kindly relax for while and second pass urine while in sitting position. Don't put pressure while passing urine. After usg lower abdomen and urine examination report consult at urologist for the same. Have a nice day.

A ct scan or mri of brain with blood test for afb and chest x ray would differentiate the two. Both have 100% cure rates. So you need not worry. You have to be patient though. You can try giving a proper history to your doctor if you haven't yet. You can also go for eitb or elisa. Take care.
