1. Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2. Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Massage scalp with this oil. 3. Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4. Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5. Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soyabean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6. Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Some sources of this are – eggs, whole grains, all types of seeds like flaxseed, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Dry fruits and nuts etc.

No need to be disappointed. You are very young and reduce body fat very fast. You need to eat clean and exercise. You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, white rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water. Exercise at least 5 times a week. Do not overeat. Eat 3 proper meals and 2 snack in between. Stop when your stomach is 80% full. Eat slowly,

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Drinking water also helps the skin do it's job of regulating the body's temperature through sweating. Feed your body. Water is essential for the proper circulation of nutrients in the body. Water serves at the body's transportation system and when we are dehydrated things just can't get around as well.

I am 26 year old having backache from last 2 months and I am using aquapreser therapy from last 20 days but still feeling pain what should I do?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned backache as only problem. Since you are very young, if you have only localized backache with no other associated symptoms like radiating leg pain, numbness, paresthesias etc, and no systemic symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight etc, my advice to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or even tab paracetamol which suits you - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application like dynapar qps spray can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc if you do not feel better with these measures in 2-3 weeks time, we will need to evaluate you further in form of dynamic x rays to look for any instability as a cause for pain and some blood investigations to rule out any deficiencies etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

1.Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon mustard oil, and 1 cup yogurt. Apply this to the hair 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing the head and hair. 2.Soak 50 gm methi dana in 2 cups of water overnight, next day in the morning make the paste and apply on scalp for 15 minutes. 3..Mix powdered Indian gooseberry (amla) and sesame seeds in equal amounts. Take 1 teaspoon twice a day with water. 4.Massage with bhrigraj oil thrice a week. 5.Wash hair regularly 2-3 times a week with a mild shampoo. 6.Avoid scratching the scalp with hands or any other objects. 7.Avoid spicy, greasy, hot and penetrating foods, junk food, and aerated drinks. 8.Have food with good nutritive value; include fiber-rich foods, salads, fruits, and lentils.

Yes you can for lasik. Some screening test are done before the procedure, to know whether it is feasible the your eyes to go for lasik or not. The number can be completely removed with it. But you should fulfill the criteria before going for lasik.

Hi you want to reduce weight of thigh and belly alone. But dear boy, please remember you can not lose weight separately from different areas of the body. Actually most of the extra fat in your body gets deposited in these areas, so you need to focus on total body fat loss. By this automatically you will lose the deposited fat from the reserve stores. For this you need to take a balanced good protein based diet, moderate carbohydrates in the form of cereal, fruits, vegetables, salads etc. For good proteins you can take milk and milk products, pulses, nuts and dry fruits, soya products, eggs, fish and chicken if you are a non vegetarian. Along with that you need to do some work outs like body building exercises which you can learn from any gym trainer. Hope this helps you.

Hello,take Avena sativa Q, 10 drops + Passiflora Q, 20 drops with water 1 hour before sleep in the night. you should do the following in order to get a proper sleep. *Set a schedule:-It is important to set a schedule for sleeping. Sleeping and waking according to a set schedule can help in overcoming insomnia. *Relaxation:-Make restful activities a part of your bedtime habits. Any activity such as a bath, reading, music etc. which relaxes you, make it a bedtime ritual. *Regular exercise:-Set a regular exercise schedule, and for maximum benefits exercise 5-6 hours before sleep time. *Avoid caffeine alcohol and nicotine:-Caffeine drinks e.g. coffee and tea should be avoided after evening hours.Alcohol and smoking before bedtime should be completely avoided. Along with this take Kali phos 6x, 5 tabs twice daily. Wake up with the sun:-Make sure you get up with the sun. Let enough sunlight enter your bedroom in the morning as sunlight helps set the body's internal biological clock each day.

Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, insufficient sleep, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water. Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other excercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Hello, your back pain is not because of habit you noted hear, there may be some physical, mechanical or physical problem's that you have to find with investigations like xray, blood test and councling. In a physiotherapist view conservative treatment for your pain is first take rest on lay down on a bed for three days, start spinal strengthening exercises, after one or two weak start corestrengtning exercises, go for walking or swimming every day, check your knee muscle is having enough strength, weakness in knee muscle will give strain on your back, if there is weakness in knee you have to start with qudreceps exetsises by sitting on a tallchair straighten your knee for many times, again check any tightness in hamstring muscles (muscles in back of thyes, if its there you have to stretch your hamstring muscles. Avoid bike riding, avoid bending forward, avoid sitting this will help to avoid sprain to your back. Good luck

Now a days are of viral infection be careful. Cold,Sneezing, sore throat, a stuffy nose, coughing -fever,bodyache,headache,occured in viral infection. Hello Lybrate user- Prolonged menses or over flow during menses is known as Atyartava disease in ayurveda. Thickening of endometrium is not a good sign. It occurs due to improper diet and daily schedule. Try these tips to overcome this diseases- a) Avoid salty and spicy foods, avoid fast foods, green leafy vegetable and curd. B) Go to bed before 10 pm. C) Increase dairy product other than curd in your diet specially cow's ghee. D) Use Ashokaristha 2 tsp twice daily with water and tab pistil forte 1 tab twice daily.

Respected doctors, I am a male of 29 years of age, I am suffering from generalized anxiety disorder feeling like I am in a dream like state, light headed, foggy vision, stiff head, head feeling numb, depersonalization, tough to carry on life since 1 and half year.
