You are carrying about 15 Kgs excess load on your body. You can bring it down @ 2 Kgs per month. So in about 8-10 months you can be 55. Bringing your weight down will make you look slim and fit. Hello maam, I am 46 years man recently discovered diabetic and on medication from 3 months. Inspite of taking medicines and cutting off sugar completely, my sugar levels stay around 150 Fasting and 200 PP. We are vegetarians and I have reduced rice intake to 40 grams that too only in the afternoon. Morning breakfast is limited. Night two chapatis only. I have increased intake of vegetables, and taking regularly coconut oil. I am also taking aloevera juice and amla karela juice at regular intervals. Please advise what should I do to bring down the numbers further down Thanks. Nagaraj.

Mr. Lybrate-user, to bring diabetes in control fasting sugar should be around 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg /100 ml and hba1c% <6.8. Please let me know what is the treatment you are on with dosage. Along with drugs, diet control and exercise are equally necessary. Using amla or karela juice, benefits are not really known. Most important is a strict diet control, meaning diet should be such that it should provide exact calories based on ideal body weight and extent of daily exercise and blood sugar level. That will help in controlling sugar levels better.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3months. Revert.

Home Remedy- 1-Onion is very good vegetable to treat sexual impotence. It increases libido and strengthens reproducing organs. White onions are best for this purpose. 2-Take about 5-10 gm root powder of Ladyfinger in a glass of milk. Add 2 tsp of mishri in this milk and drink it. This will prove helpful in improving sexual vigour. Treatment- apply pranacharya gopal oil on your penis and give a massage. It will strengthen your nerves and erection power will get better.

Eat plenty of water and food enriched with vitamins and a small amount of fat. Eat a heavy breakfast and lighter dinner. Sleep for at least 7-8 hrs.

Hello lybrate-user. For proper cleanling you should know proper brushing technique. For this you can ask any dentist. They will give you demo. Hello, since you are lactating mother your requirment of energy is higher as every 100 ml milk you produce you are burning 85 kcals. Eat at regular intervals of 3 hours and do not skip meals. Keep dryfruits and nuts in a box next to you while feeding. Try having 2 glasses of milk or milkshake preferably mango, chickoo, banana with honey added. Consult a dietician for a proper diet prescription.

Please note the following in respect to your queries: there can be many reasons behind your hair fall - like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anemia. Take homeopathic medicine acid phos 1m/single dose (5 drops in little water) and revert after 2 weeks. Apply jaborandi hair oil. Also use arnica shampoo. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. Avoid stress and anger by meditation. Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. Take sound/good sleep. Avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight/ hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends.

Hello, Following Homoeopathic medicines are useful in treatment of constipation:- 1. bio combination no. 04, 4 tablets at a time, three times a day, 15 min. after meals. 2. Bryonia 30, 3 drops , morning empty stomach for 7 days. 3. Nux vomica 30, 3 drops, after dinner at bed time for 7 days. 4. Take Causticum 200, 5 drops ,once in a week. Avoid the following foods that can cause constipation include: Chocolate Dairy products Red meat Bananas and Caffeine Tips to Prevent Constipation Have more fibres in your diet. 25 to 30 grams of daily intake can prevent constipation. Fibres help retain water in the stools thus making them softer and easier to expel. Whole grain cereals and breads Dried fruits, such as prunes and raisins Popcorn, nuts, and seeds 4. My testis have been swelling from 2 year BT its have not pain no increase in size?

For you i would suggest following remedy Take one table spoon of untamed rose hips, add a pair of glasses of boiling water, boil it for ten minutes and let it sit for 2-3 hours. Take 1/4 - 1/2 of the extract 3-4 times each day with honey. Mix one a part of fresh raw juice with one part of honey. Take 1/4 glass of the combination three times on a daily basis. Take one glass of walnuts, one glass of dried apricots,1 glass of raisins (choose the type while not seeds), one glass of prunes and a pair of lemons with the skin still on them. Grind all ingredients, add one 1/2 glass of honey and stir everything. Take one table spoon of the combination three times each day one hour before meals until you end the entire portion. The treatment is 1-2 parts. Mix one part of ginger powder with one part of honey. Take 1/2 teaspoon of the combination three times on a daily basis. Mix two table spoons of ground carrots with one glass of milk, heat it on low heat for ten minutes. Take a hundred milliliter of the extract three times every day for one week. if it dosent work then you must consult ayurveda doctor, They will surely help you.
