Typhoid is notoriously famous for causing abortion especially if left untreated. The infection can reach the baby to potentially put you at a risk of miscarriage, pre-mature birth or a low birth weight baby. Septic & early second trimester abortions are often seen in typhoid affected pregnant women. Because most typhoid patients are restricted to liquid diet, there is a good chance that you & your baby miss out on healthy nutrition. If the typhoid affected pregnant woman receives proper treatment the child born is usually healthy & safe. If you notice high grade fever immediately report it to your obstetrician for further diagnosis & proactive treatment.

Vaginal odor is typically from inflammation of the vaginal area. Inflammation of the vaginal area can occur due to following reasonss 1. Poor hygiene 2. Infection in or around the vagina. A common infection that can cause vaginal odor is overgrowth of the normal vaginal bacteria to cause bacterial vaginosis. 3.Candidiassis,a fungal infection. Homoeopathic medicine ACID NITRICUM 30 ( Dr Reckeweg) Drink 2 drops direct on tongue 3 times daily for 15 days.

Hi, my menses held on 3rd April and we had sex in morning of 12 April. I have taken i-pill in evening of 13 April. Though I missed my period in May. Later when checked on 7 may with pregnancy kit. It showed positive. I just wanted to know what precaution we would have taken to avoid pregnancy. Why I got pregnant though have taken i-pill. Which time we can have open sex to avoid pregnancy.

CCEBDM, PG Diploma In Clinical cardiology, MBBS
Cardiologist, Ghaziabad
See 1. I pill has failure rate may be around 10% 2. It is for emergency best effective with in 12 hrs of sex 3 you could have used other contraceptive method- 4. Though it was not a very fertile period but pregnancy has occurred, use of condom could have saved you from pregnancy good luck.

Yes, you need medical help. Sex is a natural urge, without which life is incomplete, unless you want to become a saadhvi, or a Brahmakumari (laudable objectives).

How to Tackle Binge Eating

PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
How to Tackle Binge Eating

To begin with, what is binge eating? Binge eating is a tenacious temptation in your brain that rears its head every time you are bored or overwhelmed. This temptation literally overpowers all other thought processes to make you reach out for food that you know you do not need. And then, guilt, disgust, frustration and heavy dieting starts! Sounds familiar? Well, you may just be a victim of binge eating. So what can you do about it? Plenty! Here's our list.

  • Emotional Hunger: Learn how to listen to your body. This is a way of bringing your mind and body in alignment by being aware and mindful. As soon as you feel a hunger pang, stop and think: is it emotional hunger or is it actually your snack or meal time? Once you learn to distinguish between the two, it is a matter of making a habit out of distracting yourself from emotional hunger by taking up a hobby or a pleasant activity that will also make your brain work in a different direction.
  • Focus on your Food: Usually, binge eating happens around unhealthy food that will give your taste buds a temporary kick. This kind of food is generally fatty, fried or sweet. So next time, focus on what you are eating. If you are eating a healthy, regular meal, then focus on the fact that you are doing something positive. This greatly defeats the cause of binge eating as you will chase the positive feeling rather than looking for temporary gratification which leads to more permanent guilt later.
  • Regular Meals: Eating your meals regularly at fixed times also dulls the temptation to binge. Regular meal times also set your biological clock and hunger ticking at the right times. If you avoid eating at meal times, then your mental hunger can get mixed up with a need for instant energy that your body requires due to a missed meal. This will make you reach out for unhealthy food in unhealthy portions.
  • Maintain a Food Diary: Keeping a food diary of everything you ate during the week and then going through it later will give you a lot of perspective on what you are doing wrong and how you can avoid the same.

Distancing yourself from wrong food and portions, and digging deeper into the emotions that trigger chronic binge eating may be answer you are looking for!

How Soda Makes You Fat - Process Explained !!

How Soda Makes You Fat - Process Explained !!
The amount of people drinking soda on a regular basis has increased rapidly. With cola being the most preferred drink. In fact, more and more people are now substitute plain water with soda drinks. Not realising how it is deeply affecting our organs. Soda beverages contain staggering amount of sugar, with high fructose corn syrup, which is one of the biggest causes of obesity in India.

This is what happens when you drink carbonated drinks.

After 20 minutes- the effects that soda has on your body vary over a duration of time as explained here. For instance, within 20 minutes of drinking soda, you will notice a spike in your blood sugar. Then, the liver responds to this insulin burst and converts massive amounts of sugar into fat.

At 40 minutes- the next stage happens by 40 minutes, when the blood pressure rises due to absorption of caffeine. This is the time when liver dumps a lot more sugar in your blood-stream.

An hour- an hour later, the sugar crash is witnessed, which leads to the cycle of consuming more and more sugar.

Overall health- so in effect, having aerated beverages affects your weight, brain, kidneys, digestive system and even your bones, heat, lungs and the teeth!

What type and How to have Abortion after confirmation of pregnancy in one month of sex.
Both medical and surgical abortion would be safe at this time, but go to a certified clinic or hospital for the same so there is no problem for future.
