I am here on behalf of my wife, she had falld down in last juley, go small injury on tale born(coaxycs). In the x-ray it was showing small bent, no fracture, but its really very painfull, and she was unable to walk, or sit for even for some minutes. Took some rest as prescribed by an ortho doctor, there was no change. Whe she take rest at night, morning pain will go, and again it used to star if she walks or sit. The after that we consulted to ayurvedic treatment, had 28 days treatment, by steaming, massaging, physio exercise, and full bed rest. She just came from hopital and now taking rest at home since 15 days, but still not full recovery, still she is having pain. Kindly advice me, what to for this. You advice will be very much helpfull for us.

Even after so much treatment, she has not responded, she needs to be investigated further. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take If no relief then ct scan of tail bone should be done.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I am 34 years old female and I have pain in my lower part of my feet and this pain persists from past three years, its acute only once in a while but otherwise the pain persists which stops walking a little small distance too. I have been advised by a doctor to crepe bandage my leg during day and apply volini ointment during night, but I found no relief. I will be getting married next month and I'm afraid that this ruin my standing in the wedding reception, kindly advise please, I need help.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

Hi, I am a 49 year old male with lower back pain. I suffered a disc prolapse in 2005 and a couple of recurrences later. I was in beta methasone for 2 years due to an attack of pemphigoid which started tapering off in dec 2014 and stopped using the same in march 2015. For the last 4-5 months, I have acute lower back pain, with stiffness in various other joints. I have undergone 7 sessions of physiotherapy (heat treatment and vibratory massage), I also am regularly doing the 6-7 recommended spine exercises for the last 5-6 weeks along with 3 km morning walk after the same. I have taken two booster doses of vitamin d and my rheumatoid arthritis related blood test is normal. This has now alleviated the pain which I used to get while getting out of the car or rising after sitting for more than 30 mins but the back pain is persisting. Kindly advise the next steps. Mri and pelvis x ray are normal except for some degeneration of l 3/l 5. This regimen

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

This might be due to lack of blood circulation in the hands and we suggest to do contrast bath therapy ie. immersing in cold/hot water in the interval of 3-5 minutes which will help you reduce the pain.For the right hand pain it might be due to carpal tunnel syndrome, where the pain will be felt in the wrist. You can do hot water fermentation/ wax therapy for shoulder and for the wrist pain (hand pain) you can do ice therapy which will reduce the pain

Dear Suryank I'm Dr Prashant Parate, Shoulder and Knee Surgeon, sports injuries Specialist. I would like to tell you that if you properly do exercises and running, use good quality shoes and change them frequently as advised by guidelines, run on proper surfaces and not on tar roads, then your joints will get in good shape.
