Since last 3-4 days, I am facing continuous leg pain problem (below knee). Please suggest.
If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain.

According your age x-ray mri must. Remedy is that avoid long sitting and toward bending lifting heavyweight. Sit straight maintain your posture do spine stretching exercise like yoga. Tk heat fermentation in pain condition and rest morning stiffness due to overstrain of muscle.

Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side. Warm up and cool down is a must. Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment shoulder is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the shoulder with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Your father may be having osteoarthritis left knee. Kindly mention his height and weight. Osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, is one of the oldest and most common types of arthritis. It is characterized by a breakdown of the joint's cartilage. Cartilage is the part of the joint that cushions the ends of bones. Cartilage breakdown causes bones to rub against each other, causing pain and loss of movement. Osteoarthritis can range from very mild to very severe, and most commonly affects middle-aged and older people. It affects hands and weight-bearing joints such as knees, hips, feet and the back. Ayurvedic treatment of Osteoarthritis not only prevents further deterioration in the joints but also rejuvenates damaged cartilages. Vata-alleviating treatments through specific herbs are also suggested for lubrication and strengthening of joints. Lifestyle changes- Avoid carbonated drinks, preserved and packaged foods, and dry or cold food items. Choose foods that are easy to digest and warming. Excessive use of joints and underuse are both problematic, so get some exercise each day, but do not overdo it. Try exercises that are easy on the joints such as walking, swimming and yoga. Keep your weight at an optimum level, neither too overweight nor too underweight. Do not withhold natural urges (such as burping, urinating, releasing gas, etc.) Home Remedies Use warm sesame oil to massage stiff and painful joints in the morning. Massage improves blood circulation and reduces inflammation and stiffness. Put one teaspoon of fenugreek in a cup of water and set aside overnight. Then next morning, mix well and drink. Boil 10-12 slices of ginger in 8 cups of water for 5 minutes and let it steep for another 10-15 minutes. Drink this tea at a warm temperature throughout the day. My mom suffering from dvt problem from march 15. We are taking warfin along with stockings but swelling on leg could not reduce what should we do? is normal situation in dvt?

The swelling in dvt can take long to reduce. More important than the swelling is fact that the dvt should go away. Warfarin is good medicine for dvt but should be monitored regularly. Your doctor is treating you correctly. Don' t forget to get a colour doppler study repeated to know the current status. Don' t worry about the swelling it will go away gradually. Remember untreated dvt can be fatal.

Sir, I got a severe pain in my back from one month and it pains me all the time when I sit in table or sofa. It does not allow me to bend forward. Please give suggestions for this.

You are too young. These symptoms should not be ignored. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

IN HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consult doctor on time.

I am 39 years female with slip disc at l4-l5. Also having radiating pain downwards right leg.

This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.
