I had a corn on my leg I applied the corn bandages and it wasn't there anymore but later on I got another corn there what should I do?

MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Pathanamthitta
Corn is a problem which arises due to increased pressure at heel and other pressure areas. It tends to develop when you walk barefoot or when you use hardsoled shoes. You need to get it removed and have some medications along with it. Visit your dermatologist to get it removed.

I am 23 years old man and I have problem of vitiligo from last 3 months. What should I do?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Diploma in Dermatology
Ayurveda, Faridabad
Hii, as you are having vitiligo in the age of 24, vitiligo is a genetic disorder trigger by indigestion and stressful conditions. There was always confusion in patients mind regarding choosing right treatment approach for vitiligo. Allopathy can give quick results but is not very safe for long term uses if steroids are used. Homeopathic is safe but very slow and in most of cases it can not stop the spread of disease i. E old patches shows some recovery but new white patches continue to come even when we are using homeopathy. If one think abourt using ayurveda there is no good vaidya who is expertise in vitiligo. At kayakalp global we have integrated external allopathic applications with internal ayurvedic medication to give fast and long lasting results. Ayurvedic herbal medicines are used to purify blood and stop the spread of disease and external application are capable of quickly start regimentation. For detail replies regarding 1. Causes of vitiligo 2. Is it genetic or can it spread to next generation 3. Causes of spread of disease after it remains stable for some years 4. Should we use homeopathy, allopathy or ayurveda. You can send pictures of vitiligo effected

Hello. You can use natural remedies. 1. Lemon is good skin lightening agent. Ypu can apply lemon and rose water mixture on skin. Apply this for 15 mins and wash with plain water. 2. Cucumber and tomato are also good for skin lightening. Apply their juice on face for 15-20 mins and wash with plain water. 3. Curd and termeric mixture are also good. Take some curd and add a pinch of haldi. Mix them and apply on face. When it dry, wash face with plain water. 4. Always apply sunscreen after bathing. It protects you from harmful sun rays. 5. Eat healthy diet and fresh fruits and juices. 6. Use homoeopathic cream berberus aquifolium twice a day. All these will help you. For any other advice or medicine you can consult me. Good luck.

I'm having a heavy hair loss and tining of hair. I'm not getting any idea to stop it, at least please help me on stop tining of hair.

MD - Alternate Medicine, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Hair fall may be attributed to different reasons like using artificial colors, hair styling, chemicals etc. It may be due to some internal weakness also. Please go for herbal neem shampoo. Use shikakai and amla as conditioner (soak amla and shikakai in water overnight and boil a little in morning). Apply it on hairs. Keep for half an hour and then wash. It will condition the hairs. Too much shampooing can lead to more hair fall. Start using amla bhringraj oil on your dry scalp. This will increase the density & stop hair fall. Eat amla (indian gooseberry) in daily routine in any form whether it is candies, juice or raw. This habit will help in hair re-growth. Amla is a good source of many vitamins & it also increases absorption of iron from gut. For females above 40 years of age iron, calcium is must for stopping hair fall. Avoid using comb in wet hairs.

Hello, Start taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk (which is very effective.

Hi, use bakson's face wash, schwabe's aloe vera cream regularly. Don't let the area get any kind of friction like rubbing (rubbing even the cream or oil), scratching, pinching, etc. Any kind of friction makes the condition worse! increase the intake of vitamin a (green veggies, reddish or yellow veggies or fruits like carrot, papaya, water melon, egg yolks, etc.), vitamin c (citrus fruits like oranges, kinus, mausambi, lemon, etc. And amla, green veggies, tomatoes, green peas), vitmain e (nuts sp. Walnut, almonds, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, fish) and protein (pulses, legumes, sprouts, non-veg, eggs, etc.). Take 10-12 glasses of water in a day. Medication: take petroleum 200 and natrum mur. 6x/ thrice daily for 1 month. Revert me back there after.

Repeatedly getting Acne. I will apply daily Cleargel cream and Acnil Soap. But daily at least one pimple will be coming up. May be because of this soap or cream I lost my fairness. My skin turned to black now with dot spots after acne.

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)
Dermatologist, Raigarh
You need more than medicines and gels to deal with pimples. The issue requires lifestyle and eating habit changes. First start with increased intake of Vit A, C and E for flushing out acne-causing proteins and calming your skin. Eat nuts like walnuts and almonds and stop consuming dairy products. You also need to fight stress and depression for a healthy and glowing skin. Bring Yoga and Meditation in your lifestyle. Mositurize your skin with non comadogenic moisturizers and avoid haircare products that clog your skin pores. Use oil-control facewash to clean the impurities and stay hydrated. Consult me privately on Lybrate to know more about what else you can do to treat acnes.

Please note the following in respect to your queries: there can be many reasons behind your hair fall - like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anemia. Take homeopathic medicine acid phos 1m/single dose (5 drops in little water) and revert after 2 weeks. Apply jaborandi hair oil. Also use arnica shampoo. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. Avoid stress and anger by meditation. Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. Take sound/good sleep. Avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight/ hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. Consult me for homeopathic treatment. Recommend me by clicking on recommend option and leave feedback.
