A.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

It is a habit, like nail biting and there is no medicine for it, you have to build strong will power whenever you want to yawn, divert your mind to something pleasant. Yoga and meditation will help you for sure. Do not become conscious about it. You will get over it.

I don't feel asleep when I go to bed, it takes hardly 1 - 1.5 hours to get sleep, and some times it also takes 2 - 2.5 hours.

Ingrown Hair - An Overview

Ingrown hair refers to a situation in which a part of the body hair which has been trimmed, shaved or tweezed grows back into the skin in a curled form. This sometimes causes painful and discomforting skin conditions such as swelling, bump formation and chronic pain in the area from where the hair was removed.

This condition is mostly common among people who have very tightly curled hair on their entire bodies. Among men the most affected areas are cheeks, chin and neck. Additionally, they can also appear in cases of men who regularly shave their head. In case of women, ingrown hair is common in areas like armpits, pubic region and legs.

The most common signs of this condition are:

  1. Small skin bumps (papules)
  2. Small, pus-filled, blister-like lesions (pustules)
  3. Hyperpigmentation (skin darkening)
  4. Long lasting and chronic pain
  5. Itching 

Ingrown hair might also occur if you do the following activities:

  1. Pulling your skin while shaving your body hair can give rise to ingrown hair. This in turn allows the shaved hair particles to penetrate back into the skin without growing outwards.
  2. Tweezing of hair can also lead to the hair particles to grow inwards instead of growing outwards.

Some common complications associated with this condition are:

  1. Bacterial and fungal infections that usually happen from scratching of the affected area.
  2. Hyperpigmentation of the skin which involves an abrupt darkening of the skin areas.
  3. Permanent scarring of the tissue of the affecting skin.

I'm suffering from stress nd I really don't know why and what is happening to me when I'm in anger I even hit my head with iron rod, even on walls, or beat my head with my hands and I cannot able to get my cond in stable condition my reason for stress n anger is my studies and I even don't know what else I have a girl friend she sometimes tries to help me and she failed max times I really don't know what is happening to me I even tried to do worst things like in anger I tried to kill my self please help.

I strongly recommend you to go and see either a psychologist or a psychiatrist. You may need a regular weekly session to work both on your stress and anger. Initial support by a counselor or psychologist will help you understand what is going on with in you and it will also equip you with various tools and strategies you could use on a daily basis. You may try following things with support of your girlfriend as well. Try following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. I was prescribed Pre Aldonil 150 in place of Pre Aldonil 75, which I am taking presently. The doctor went abroad soon after advising me this, and is not going to be reachable for a long time. I cannot find 150 in Mumbai market. My chemist suggests I take 2x75 instead if 1x150 once daily. Is it safe for me to accept this suggestion? A quick and clear answer will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello lybrate-user, as you are having psoriasis problem, white flacks on body and dandruff in scalp are starting symptoms. Psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to street and irregular life style. We are treating psoriasis using ayurvedic medicines. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain in skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting in nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk and sit in sun for 15 minutes it helps. Hormone level change during youth or puberty makes the scalp oily and causes dandruff. People think applying oil in hair will help them get rid of dandruff though it is not true. Oil doesn’t help remove dandruff in any way.

You have solve your self. Joining gym. Excellent. Keep it up for long long time. Do not stop for any reason. You can start abdominal crunch under guidance of gym instructor. Increase slowely. Avoid oily food, fast food, party food, chees, butter, ghee, oil etc. Increase salad in diet, do not tale full meal -pet bharke nahi khana-thoda less khana. Continue these for years. Take time but definitely you will have result.
