Pain in ear can be due to wax impaction or even a fungal infection. If there is whitish or yellowish discharge, antibiotic or antifungal ear drips are required along with oral medication. Prevent water from entering the ears while bathing. Also avoid using ear buds.

Hello, pits formed post-chicken pox can only be taken care with the help of various skin treatments like lasers, radiofrequency etc. But getting totally rid off this is a bit not possible even undergoing any of these procedures. Home remedies: -neem leaf extract applied to the scar 2-3 times daily will greatly reduce their appearance. -mix 5 drops or so each of neem oil and jojoba oil. Soak a cotton ball with the oil mixture, then dab t gently on the face paying close attention to the areas affected by scars, pimples, and redness. Leave it on for 25 minutes then rinse your skin with water. Repeat this once or twice daily until you get the desired results. ******do consult a dermatologist******

Sore throat is discomfort, pain, or scratchiness in the throat. A sore throat often makes it painful to swallow. Like colds, the vast majority of sore throats are caused by viral infections. This meansmost sore throats will NOT respond to antibiotics. Many people have a mild sore throat at the beginning of every cold. When the nose or sinuses become infected, drainage can run down the back of the throat and irritate it, especially at night. Or, the throat itself can be infected. Strep throat is the most common bacterial cause of sore throat Chronic sore throat can be quite discomforting as it can be a source of perpetual irritation or pain in a person’s throat. It is a chronic infection of the throat characterized by a constant irritation in the throat, with or without pain, and may be associated with hoarseness of voice in some patients. Homeopathic remedies promise a safe and successful recovery and relief from this condition as they address not just the symptoms of soreness but also its underlying factors. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

Smoking definitely worsens throat problems. You should do warm salt water gargles thrice a day for your sore throat.

EAR PIERCING:WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AFTER PIERCING

MS - ENT,MBBS

EAR PIERCING:WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AFTER PIERCING
1)Keep the ear-piercing clean.
After washing hand with soap and water clean the ear lobules with cotton wool dipped in antiseptic solution ,twice a day.
2)Rotate the ear-ring in its hole slowly to avoid build up of debris.
3)Keep the region dry
4)Look out for signs of infection.Infection and allergic reactions make the chance of hypertrophic scar, and keloid formation more likely.
5)Don’t try to change the ear-ring/stud before 6 weeks after Ear piercing.
6)Continue wearing ear-ring continuously for 6 months as otherwise tract will not form and the piercing may close.

I have a sinus problem. This problem make any allergy. And some time paining for near by nose.

BHMS
Homeopath, Chennai
Dear lybrate user sinusitis is inflammation of sinus spaces which are hollow spaces in our facial bones and become infected due to improper drainage or blockage of sinus openings into nasal cavity ,since killing of bacterias through antibiotics is not a permanent cure since bacteria grow secondary to favourable habitat thus it needs a constitutional treatment for permanent cure

I had done mri because Dr. Told he feel I having convulsion bt everything is normal except one thing 1) the right cerebellar tonsils is low lying and peg shaped What it means pls reply me and tell it is dangerous or critical thing.

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Ghaziabad
Well, it is a very classified finding that you have reported. In simple langauage if I say it will be like cerebellum is a part of brain and at the back of cerebellum there is a lobule like part known as Cerebellar Tonsil. In some people it gets shifted little down may be right from the birth it is like that and in some due to some reason it happens. At times most of the people does not have any problem but some might report problems like headache, pain in neck, vertigo, problems in maintaining balance etc. Convulsions or seizures could be another group of symptoms. It mostly is not dangerous but yes you to be under supervision of your Neurologist. With the help of medicines they might control things or if required they might opt for intervention depending upon the cause of this shifting of tonsils. It is believed that increase pressure inside the head can also cause this so it is better to discuss with your doctor and you can opt for second opinion also.
