Am getting erect while seeing porn or some hot girls. But am sincerely loving one girl. So that I couldn't get erect while she is nude even. But I love her a lot not her body. What to do for that? How to get erect and get mood with her? Please any sexologist reply.

MD - General Medicine, Diploma in Diabetology
General Physician,
You need to love her body also. Dont think that loving body is a sin. Come out from your wrong and backward social misperceptions. Sex is a natural instinct live it as you like. Dont follow any guidlines. Kiss your girlfriend, make a good foreplay. Dont have any hesitation. Try to touch and play with her private parts in a gentle and loving way.

Hello Dr. I'm a 24 yr. Old male residing as a student in Jaipur, Rajasthan since past 1 year. Since the time I've moved here, I've noticed a few changes in me. My digestion has gone haywire. Even a glass of water I drink here makes me feel very bloated and heavy. I cannot digest anything I eat or drink. I am witnessing the worst hair fall I have ever seen. While bathing or even while sleeping, I notice my pillow is full of hair. Also lately, I am getting a lot of acne and pimples on my face, which sometimes becomes so terrible that they start to bleed. My other friends, who like me, are staying here as tenants have no such problems. Is my body not agreeing to Jaipur's water or weather? I also tried homeopathy but that didn't help either.

Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!). For Pimples: There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. (Basically, it's a about leading a healthy lifestyle.)

My dad is suffering from PTB doctor suggested to have bronchoscopy for understanding weather its of type mdr or not? What should we do? Should we wait for results of first line medicine or go with test? How much is cost of bronchoscopy in mumbai? And is it hurting patient in any way?

MD - General Medicine, MBBS
General Physician,
Hi lybrate-user, If your doctor might have asked for a bronchoscopy then I believe they have tested his sputum and found him to be still positive, despite treatment. If that is the case, then it is advisable to get it done as you need to know if your father is suffering from MDR TB. The treatment for MDR is a lot different from the fisrt line therapy in terms of drug used and also the duration of treatment. Sorry I cannot accurately tell you about the pricing in Mumbai, but I believe it can range from 2500 to 15000 depending on the centre. It is usually a painless procedure but can cause a lot of discomfort, depending on the expertise of the doctor.

I have the pain in my head in always. I take several types of head pain relief medicine? But there was no any solution in that medicine? Then what am I do? Please help me?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, Some primary headaches can be triggered by lifestyle factors, including: Alcohol, particularly red wine Certain foods, such as processed meats that contain nitrates Changes in sleep or lack of sleep Poor posture Skipped meals Stress insufficient sleep or rest Overexertion Nutritional deficiencies A secondary headache is a symptom of a disease that can activate the pain-sensitive nerves of the head. Any number of conditions — varying greatly in severity — may cause secondary headaches. Get your blood pressure checked, make a chart. Let me know about the readings, will give you medication accordingly. Also, get eyes tested. Medication: Meantime, can start with homoeopathic medicine - Bakson's Mig-Aid tablet/ after every 2 hours.

Hi , for the timebeing, I would advise you to refrain from watching tv or using mobile for long. See for improvement, if any. Should you still have issues, I suggest you get your eyes checked by an eye specialist and do as advised. At the same time, have a balanced nourishing diet and keep your lifestyle streamlined with due focus on relaxation/ stress reduction through regular exercise/ yoga and meditation. Washing your eyes with cold (tap) water also helps relax the nerves and also takes away eye stress and strain thereby helping relax your eyes. Hope this helps. All the very best. Sincerely, Dr. Pritam (nd) bbsr.

What type of burn should be treated at home and when to hospitalise. We may not understand percentage but narrate the symptoms to know the status.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi, for many second-degree burns, home treatment is all that is needed for healing and to prevent other problems. First degree: includes only the outer layer of skin, the epidermis skin is usually red and very painful equivalent to superficial sunburn without blisters dry in appearance healing occurs in 3-5 days, injured epithelium peels away from the healthy skin hospitalization is for pain control and maybe fluid imbalance second degree: can be classified as partial or full thickness. Partial thickness blisters can be present involve the entire epidermis and upper layers of the dermis wound will be pink, red in color, painful and wet appearing wound will blanch when pressure is applied should heal in several weeks (10-21 days) without grafting, scarring is usually minimal full thickness can be red or white in appearance, but will appear dry. Involves the destruction of the entire epidermis and most of the dermis sensation can be present, but diminished blanching is sluggish or absent full thickness will most likely need excision & skin grafting to heal.
