Think Before You Ink: The Truth About Tattoo Removal

MD- Dermatology & Venereology,Leprosy , International Fellowship in Dermatology, MBBS
Dermatologist, Gurgaon
Think Before You Ink: The Truth About Tattoo Removal

There are so many reasons people get inked. For some, a tattoo is a form of expression for others, a reminder of incidents and people. Since a tattoo is permanent, it needs to be carefully thought about. Today, you may think having your girlfriend's name inked onto your skin is a way of declaring your love, but what if tomorrow, you break up. Ex-lover's name is probably the most common tattoos that people ask to be removed. Yes, tattoos can be removed, but it isn't as easy as it sounds.

What makes a tattoo permanent is the depth the ink permeates to. Unlike, writing on your skin with a pen, ink in a permanent tattoo is placed in the dermis. This layer of skin lies below the epidermis and cannot be easily accessed. Thus, using a cream or ointment will not help you remove a permanent tattoo. It may help bleach the pigment slightly, but will scar your skin, leaving the area looking worse than it was before. Using an acid to remove tattoos is also not advisable as this will scar the skin.

The only way to effectively remove a tattoo without scarring is with laser treatment. The laser penetrates the skin and breaks up the ink particles. This makes the body's immune system recognize the ink as alien elements and removes them through the lymphatic system. This leaves the rest of your skin undamaged. Laser treatment to remove a tattoo is not a one time procedure and may need to be repeated a number of times depending on the number of colours, size of tattoo and quality of ink used.

A single laser cannot be used to treat all the colours in your tattoo. Lasers of different wavelengths are used to remove different colours. Thus, more the number of colours in a tattoo, the longer it will take to be removed. In some cases, even with laser treatment, the tattoo cannot be completely removed and a shadow may remain. Fluorescent colours are the most difficult to remove. Contrary to popular belief, black and red pigments are the easiest to remove.

Laser treatment can also be used for any skin colour, though it may take a few extra sessions to remove tattoos from a dark skin. The location of your tattoos also plays a great role in determining how easy it will be to remove. The closer the tattoo is to your heart, the better the results.

In most cases, removing a tattoo takes 5-12 laser treatment sessions. This can take from 6 to 12 months as the dermatologist will probably ask you to wait a month between sittings. Each laser treatment session is expensive and hence, removing a tattoo is much more expensive than getting one.

Simplest way to avoid this junk foods specially road side, when you know the foods which is taking either is beneficial or harmful for your health. You already leave the taking harmful foods. Another way to see the process of preparing these food, how to prepare its then you interest eating these foods left. My advise to see once how it is prepared. Now your oily skin apply cucumber juice over face for 10-15 minutes after that wash it with water only. Do not use any face wash. Apply vico turmeric cream after wash.

For glowing skin-1] drink plenty of water 2] avoid the contact of skin from sun rays and dirt by covering it when you go outside. 3] eat at least one fruit daily. Fruits are full of vitamins which is boon for face and skin. 4] do not wash your face with soap it has strong chemical which causes harm to face. Wash with face wash or with besan. 5] scrub your face occasionally to remove dead cells.

How to remove blackheads under my eye?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How to remove blackheads under my eye?
Hi. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub at least once a week.Acne

How can I remove black spot of my face of pigmentation ?

BHMS
Homeopath,
1. Wash your face at least 2 times a day. Use gentle soap or face wash or cleanser. 2. After washing your face apply toner. Toner remover excess oil from your skin that the soap or facewash missed in addition to closing your pores. 3. Use some moisturizer using lotion in the morning acts as a primer for your makeup, helping it" stick" to your face throughout the day. Moisturizing at night helps your skin repair itself and stave off wrinkles. Bottom line, it's one of the best things you can do for glowing skin over the long term. 4. Scrub your face once a week. A simple scrub of sugar mixed with honey makes a great exfoliator. Rinse it off with warm water. You could also exfoliate with a dry brush made for the face. Brush your face using small, circular motions. 5. Protect your skin from sun. For medical management ask me on private.

The best way is to go for body detoxification by panchakarma. Otherwise it will reoccur again. Meet up with some Panchakarma expert in your area & discuss the problem. Stop eating salt, Curd, milk & excessive spice.

Use sugar scrub to erase pimple marks- this is a simple and easy scrub for healthy, pimple-marks free, glowing skin. It will work as an exfoliating agent and would help you to achieve a brighter skin tone. - take three tablespoons of sugar - 1 tablespoon of milk powder - 1 tablespoon of honey mix them together and scrub this mixture over the face for few minutes and rinse it off after 15 minutes. Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problems without causing adverse effects. To start with, take carbo animalis 200/once daily in the morning and give feedback after 5 days.
