Hello the question you posted is genuine concern. Old fillings can sometimes be cracked and have a leakage which goes unnoticed and cud lead to sensitive tooth to occasional pain while biting. At times there cud also be a crack in the offended tooth. Please pay a visit to your dentist at the earliest. Your dentist wud have a clinical or if needed a check with an xray and wud suggest treatment depending on the severity. Mr/ Ms. P please don't be worried, but definately its a concern and do not delay to visit your dentist

Water is not harmful during summers, specially if baby is not breast fed. 8 months old baby can be introduced to semisolids with less fats. He must be crawling and putting things in his mouth as a reflex. He may be having infected stools-reason for not eating. Get a stool test done & write back with report & his milk source-breast, cow, bufalloe or powder milk + type of solid food if given so far. Give baby gripe water - bonison & syrup dicyclomine for cramps, he may be having and getting cranky.

In general, you may have to take more than one inhalers, i. E. One inhalers for regular use another as rescue medicine. At the same time, you may need to take anti-allergic medicines to prevent exacerabation. If you are a smoker, you immediately have to stop it. Hi , I have this problem with my penis for last 2 years ,it become red and sore every time I do sex and masturbate , ...
Dear patient, this shows that your penis is too sensitive to friction. That is the reason why you cannot tolerate little amount of friction. This oversensitiveness is due to decreased immunity. Ibt will help you to get rid of this problem. Which is helpful to boost your immunity. Anti biotics are helpful after appearances of blisters. But ibt prevents formation of blisters. Take care.

When do you need a LASIK Eye Surgery?

DOMS, MBBS
Ophthalmologist, Delhi
When do you need a LASIK Eye Surgery?

What is LASIK ?

Laser-Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) uses a computer controlled laser to reshape the eye's cornea ( the transparent part in the front region of the eye), so as to enable light passing through it to focus correctly onto the retina of the eye.

When do you need this surgery?

This surgical procedure is ideal for people having following conditions making spectacle use mandatory :

1. Myopia or nearsightedness - Far off objects appears blurry
2. Hypermetropia or farsightedness - Close objects appear indistinct
3. Astigmatism - Overall fuzzy vision

Facts about the surgery -

- Practically painless procedure done under numbing drops
- Short surgery time as well as recovery time
- No use of stitches
- Reduced dependency on glasses and contact lenses
- Better vision as compared to vision through high power glasses
- Minimum age to opt for the procedure is 18 years

LASIK in Presbyopia or Presbylasik:

The surgery can also be opted for individuals who suffer from presbyopia, which is long-sightedness brought on by the loss of flexibility of the eye lens, and usually occurs in individuals in their middle and old age. The condition renders individuals with the inability to focus on objects that are close by, leading to difficulty in reading smaller prints or doing chores close up.

In Presbylasik or Multifocal LASIK different power zones are created for seeing at varying distances - near , intermediate and distance vision.Consulting a doctor is best as he or she can help you to decide on the right course of action.
