What are the symptoms of the disease plague and how is it caused and what are the medicines required.

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
What are the symptoms of the disease plague and how is it caused and what are the medicines required.
Bubonic plague Bubonic plague is the most common variety of the disease. It's named after the buboes — swollen lymph nodes — which typically develop within a week after an infected flea bites you. Buboes may be: Situated in the groin, armpit or neck About the size of a chicken egg Tender and warm to the touch Other signs and symptoms may include: Sudden onset of fever and chills Headache Fatigue or malaise Muscle aches Septicemic plague Septicemic plague occurs when plague bacteria multiply in your bloodstream. Signs and symptoms include: Fever and chills Extreme weakness Abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting Bleeding from your mouth, nose or rectum, or under your skin Shock Blackening and death of tissue (gangrene) in your extremities, most commonly your fingers, toes and nose Pneumonic plague Pneumonic plague affects the lungs. It's the least common variety of plague but the most dangerous, because it can be spread from person to person via cough droplets. Signs and symptoms can begin within a few hours after infection, and may include: Cough, with bloody sputum Difficulty breathing Nausea and vomiting High fever Headache Weakness Pneumonic plague progresses rapidly and may cause respiratory failure and shock within two days of infection. If antibiotic treatment isn't initiated within a day after signs and symptoms first appear, the infection is likely to be fatal.

It's not hereditary baldness. Cause of water I guess. Need a permanent solution for this. Tried with all the stuffs so.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
It's not hereditary baldness. Cause of water I guess. Need a permanent solution for this. Tried with all the stuffs so.
Hi. There is no permanent solution as such, but one can delay the baldness. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! medication: take homoeopathic medicines - schwabe's wiesbaden 200 & alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use schwabe's arnica shampoo and hair growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use bakson's arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Beside this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin folli hair once daily for 1 month. (if the area has gone totally smooth and shiny, then you need to go an option of hair transplant!)

Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex: What You Need To Know?

MD - Skin,VD & Lepxsy, MBBS
Dermatologist, Rewari
Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex: What You Need To Know?

Epidermolysis bullosa simplex is a genetic disorder that results in the skin turning fragile and blister prone. Any small injury or friction created due to rubbing of the skin might lead to blister formation. In some cases, blisters may occur inside the mouth and on the cheeks. Normally, the cause of the disease is linked to defective genes. The condition is usually inherited and the symptoms start flaring in childhood. In some cases, the symptoms start during the early twenties.

The symptoms of this disease are:

  1. Deformities in the nails of the toes and fingers.
  2. Blisters in the internal organs such as esophagus and vocal chords.
  3. Formation of blisters on the skin of the feet and the hands.
  4. Hair loss and scarring of the scalp.
  5. Thickening of the skin on the palms and soles of the feet.
  6. Formation of white skin bumps on the skin.
  7. You may experience various dental problems such as tooth decay.
  8. You may have problems in swallowing food.

Epidermolysis bullosa can be classified into:

  1. Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa: This is a severe form of epidermolysis bullosa that usually develops during birth. The condition is characterized by hoarse and unusual crying sounds and scarring in the vocal chords. The genes that attach the epidermis to the basement become defective and thus, cause blister formation.
  2. Kindler Syndrome: This type is characterized by blister formation across all layers of the skin, but its symptoms tend to disappear with time. This condition is known to cause discoloration of the skin when exposed to the sun.
  3. Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa: This is caused by a defect in the gene that causes problems in collagen formation. This results in complications as the skin doesn't join properly.

Risks

This disease may cause various complications such as sepsis, skin infection, anemia, constipation and dehydration. An infant, who has a severe form of epidermolysis bullosa, may not be able to survive due to widespread blistering and infections that may drain all the body fluids out drastically. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dermatologist.

I am a retired professional engineer having worked as high a level as CEO & retired in 2014. I am from a Lower Middle Class family of a govt servant in Delhi with 6 six siblings. Father died at an early age of 52 in 1968. My mother & brothers & sister brought me up in an environment fully enjoyable depended & a very happy 15 years . I then went on to do my PG in Eng from Indian Institute of Science . All by my own without disturbing my brothers for financial aids etc. I got a very good career & I planned my career to become a CEO by 50 which I became when I was 52. Yes I have been fairly successful in my career. I got married into a HIG family and had 2 loving children who have succeeded well in their life and one is married & the other is getting married shortly. I was fortunate enough to educate them in US & feel proud of them & have spend close to 80 lacs for their education & marriage. My wife is a very helpful & a very good mother and she has a twin sister who is married & is very rich & over influencing. My wife is very close to her. I have been having frequent surgeries about 15 so far all due to accident or birth defects latest being colon disorder which required an 8 hr surgery. My Problem My family has been very toxic towards me Anything I say or do is either wrong or is verified Now that I am retired I am not shown any respect & decisions are taken without any info to me . Dear sir, one experiences little loss of'significance' after retirement, esp. If retired from a high post in which one is a decision maker and the most imp. Cog in the wheel! it is also true that in the family, one's significance comes down slightly as an individual is weighed by the value system, which is a product of society. Even in your introduction of self and the family, it is clearly visible. Family may not have gone toxic as you may have superimposed that due post retirement blues! as you have mentioned that they are concerned about you. You cannot change them, but accept this transition. It would be wonderful if you are professionally active again giving you financial security, independence. Expectation and frustration. Hope & despair are eternally linked. Obviously one expects from the other in a relationship and esp. When one has been the provider. But life is uneven. So it brings this despair. That is why the parental sacrifices (monetary) which are common in eastern/asiatic world end up giving bitter taste eventually many times. That all actions are self-centered must be whole- heartedly accepted as the origin of all the actions, thought stem from" i" which is individualistic, separated from others (even those related). Accept your'i" and its agenda happily and do not mistrust your family, I is just that they have there own'i' s working!

Can Use of Sunscreen Reduce Skin's Aging?

Can Use of Sunscreen Reduce Skin's Aging?

Can Use of Sunscreen Reduce Skin’s Aging?

Skin aging is a natural process. While it cannot be stopped or reversed, certain measures can certainly slow down the process of aging. One such measure is regularly using sunscreen to keep the skin protected from skin damage.

Damage caused due to exposure to the sun is the leading cause of skin aging. The harmful rays of the sun known as UVA and UVB have a tremendous impact on the health of skin and speed up the process of skin aging. It also affects those with fairer or lighter skin more due to the lack of melanin in their skin.

Regularly wearing sunscreen has proven to reduce skin aging by keeping it protected from sun damage. Studies have shown that those who inculcate a habit of wearing sunscreen at all times while stepping out during the day have younger and healthier looking skin than those who don’t. The sunscreen acts as a layer of defense against sun radiation and keeps it from causing any damage. Skin is, thus, protected from accelerated aging.

How to correctly use sunscreen to reduce skin aging

There are certain specifics that need to be kept in mind while using sunscreen in order to increase its potency. Some of these are as follows:

• The right product must be carefully chosen. It is necessary to use sunscreen that has a SPF rating of 30 or more.

• It must be applied at least 15 minutes before stepping out into the sun.

• It must be reapplied every few hours as sunscreen gets easily washed away due to sweating and exposure to moisture.

• The habit of using sunscreen must be started early, preferably from childhood.

• Sunscreen must be used even on cloudy and overcast days.

The adoption of these measures while using sunscreen has been proved effective in reducing skin aging and preventing the early formation of wrinkles, discoloration and sagging skin.

If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Honey is a natural humectant. It helps reduce scarring and hastens the process of new tissue growth. This, along with its anti-microbial effect ensures faster healing of the mouth ulcer. Chew a few leaves of tulsi along with some water about three to four times every day. This will help in getting rid of ulcers faster and also have a preventive action against their recurrence. Applying a little coconut oil directly onto the mouth ulcer or chewing some coconut (fresh or dry) helps reduce pain and inflammation and hence, ulcers heal faster. Mix some sugar to crushed khus-khus seeds and consume this mixture for instant relief from ulcers. You could apply a little ghee directly to the ulcerated area, or drink a glass of buttermilk two or three times every day. Mouth ulcers left untreated generally go away in a week or so; with these home remedies, you can expect faster relief. However, if you notice an ulcer in the mouth that is persistently present although it does not cause you any pain, do not neglect it or try to treat it with home remedies beyond a few days. Make it a point to see a doctor soon because often, a painless mouth ulcer is one of the earliest signs of oral cancer.

I have pimple and black head. And dark spot on my face. So what should I do to remove it.
You have to understand that pimples & pimples marks are basically infections in your skin pores (glands) in which sweat is forming. If you want complete cure of pimples you have to be infection free, as skin have very little blood supply, so take time to remove infections. For further assistance you can concern me privately. please upload its photo.
