Sir I am 20 year old I have pain in teeth when I take food please tell me this solution.

The type of treatment you have for toothache /sensitivity/swelling will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache / sensitivity/swelling can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

Removal of supernumerary teeth can not harm you in any way even it may help you to realign your teeth properly initially it takes 7 days to close wound then about 21 to 27 days to heal completly.

Consult a dentist, if there is dental decay then get the filling done. You may need an xray and if the decay is deep involving the pulp of the tooth then rct may be required.

Sir/Madam, In my childhood I fell from stairs and hurt myself in such a way that due to internal bleeding one of my tooth turned yellow from inside and has been like that since then. How can this thing be cured?

BDS, Certified endodontics
Dentist, Guwahati
It seems that the pulp inside your tooth is no vital anymore. Get an rct done along with a jacket crown.

I am facing a severe toothache since last week. I have consulted a doctor. He asked me to undergo scaling. What should I do?

BDS
Dentist, Delhi
Hi lybrate-user, the toothache you are suffering from may be due to a variety of causes, the most common being: 1. Tooth decay 2. Tooth fracture 3. A damaged filling 4. Infected gums the most common cause is a long-standing cavity or tooth decay, which usually requires a root canal treatment (rct). The same treatment applies to a tooth fracture as well. In case of a damaged filling, there may be two possibilities: either the filling can be removed and replaced with a new one after applying a soothing base material; or if the damaged filling is placed deep near the nerves of the tooth, it may require an rct. Infected gums usually are treated with deep cleaning/scaling after which there is permanent relief from pain. So, only if your toothache has a gum problem as a cause, will you get relief from scaling.

Sir, I had stopped my smoking habits after reducing within two months, by alternate nicogums, still I continuing nicotex, if it is better to continue ,mouth ulcer are occurred frequently, gittness during morning time after wake up and during walking, kindly advice.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Sir actually its better to stop using Nicotex since it also is a kind of addiction. You had to consult a physician for an opinion and then find a dentist of your choice to get treated for your mouth ulcers. Meanwhile use some topical ointments and gel like mucopain for ulcer.

My incisor teeth have came forward a little bit. It is possible to level my teeth without clipping?

BDS, MDS
Dentist, Bangalore
Hello lybrate-user, there is a possibility to correct the alignment of your teeth without braces treatment but is a more invasive treatment which would involve grinding your original teeth and placing a cap over that teeth, but this procedure can be done only after root canal therapy of the teeth which are going to be grinded.
