For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins.

Blood pressure is the pressure exerted by flowing blood on arteries, Measures for relief from blood pressure- Avoid extra salt from diet, do regular exercise, yoga,pranayam take warm water for drinking, keep watch on your weight,lipid profile take dinner early & in the half quantity of lunch, Avoid late night works,over eating,preserved food, oily,spicy ,fast food, bakery food, avoid tobacco, alcohol,smoking Best Luck.

I have HTN. Presently I am on telma AM. BP is normal now. I am also having 2+ urine albumin. Not taking any medication as of now for this. I am on low protein and low fat diet. My total cholesterol is 310. One local doctor suggested me to start ramipril 2.5 mg and stop telma AM. He has suggested me to star atorvastatin F and a medicine for albumin as well. I am quite confused. And very much concerned about urine albumin. Kindly suggest what should I do now?

Dear lybrate-user, You need medication to control cholesterol no doubt. Protein digestion and cholesterol synthesis bot happen in the liver. Take more care and treatment to strengthen the liver function for better and long lasting results. The combination of medicines has been worked out by your Doctor. Avoid hurry. Do your all work and even your personal work like taking bath. Brushing in relaxed way. Avoid worry. Reduce your stress levels and. Avoid curry, reduce salt and spice rich diet, chew your food well. Walk after eating esp after dinner.

Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done.

For hair fall take tab. Keraglo men once daily for 3 months. For bald patches use Tugain 5% solution for application 1 ml once daily at night for one month. Check blood test for Haemoglobin.

Dear , you are suffering from performance anxiety. This is quite common. Therefore do not worry. The best method to score good marks is to study systematically. There are some methods called" effective learning techniques. You should adopt them. Please understand, you are going to do well if you prepare well. If you cannot prepare well, there is nothing to worry, you will not be able to do well in exams. Therefore, prepare systematically and approach exams systematically. Success is yours. Take care.

Pranayam is deep breathing. You can not be anxious and do deep breathing at a time. So, deep breathing eliminates anxiety eventually. Best option is to see a qualified and trained psychologist at the earliest. Psychologist is an expert in diagnosis by psychological testing and counselling/psychotherapy i. E. Treatment without medicines. Psychiatrist gives medicines only. Treatment started earlier will control the problem very fast. Get proper diagnosis first followed by right treatment. Please get diagnosis confirmed first then take medicines as advised. It is possible that problem is psychological-then it will not be cured by medicines. You will need psychotherapy.

Hi iron defieciency anaemia is a very common finding in womens of developing countries treatment level depends on the hemoglobin level in your blood thre catagories are there mild moderate and severe iron deficiency anaemia depending on your catagory you will be prescibed hematanics for 3 months elevated cholestrol at age of 29 is alarming For dylipidemia (increased fats) start 45 minute of stenous exercises daily for atleast 6 days aweek for 3 months initaially add lot of fibres and fruits to your diet stop taking saturated fats like ghee coconut oil etc, use olive oil rice bran oil and safola oil .these three oils shoud be taken one after the other in addition to these life style modification I would like to start you with a statin group of drug which prevent the formation of cholestrol in the body and increses level of hdl and lowers ldl for 3 months I can not write medicine in public query as per rules feel free to contact in private query don panic you will be fine in 3 months just follow the medicines and life style modification.

Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem, without causing adverse effects. Take homoeopathic medicine arnica 200 daily in the morning and in the evening and give feedback after 6 days.

If umbilical hernia is small and does not cause symptoms, a watchful waiting approach may be reasonable. Routine follow-up may be all that is needed, especially if the hernia does not grow in size. However, if the hernia does grow or if there is concern about potential incarceration, then surgery is recommended.

For making hair grow fast, strong and thick follow these instructions: • Do not take A lot of stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation to destress yourself. You can do Pranayams or take long deep breaths whlie closing your eyes I a peaceful environment for at least 8-10 minutes. • Add protein containing items in your foods for healthy hair growth such as take a bowl of cereal daily and a glass of milk or 100 gm cheese or 1-2 eggs. • Practice Yogasana like Shirshasana and Sarwangasana only under the guidance of Expert. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. It increases blood circulation in your scalp and enhances hair growth. • Avoid the excess use of products such as hair colours or shampoo. * Take Vitamin-E rich foods like dry fruits (Almonds, Pista etc) daily. * You can take Vitamnin E supplement (100 mg capsiles) daily and tab. Boitin only under the supervision of nearest physician. * Apply the egg yolk to the scalp atleast once a week. It gives nourishment to hair root and enhances hair growth.

Generally, one's height is determined by the genes they inherit from the parents. 1. There is also no quick fix for the same. While, taking proper nutrition and increasing the intake of calcium rich foods can help in height growth. 2. Regular exercises, stretching regimes and maintaining the right posture can help as well. It is advisable to walk as tall as you possible as correct posture promote height growth. You can also take ashwagandha powder (2-2 tsp) twice a day and lakshadi guggul (1-1 tabs) twice a day with warm water.

Hi lybrate-user 1. Reduce your portions by using smaller plates, asking for a small ice cream cone, beverage or sandwich instead of a large, splitting main dish at a restaurant with a friend or ordering a lunch-size portion even at dinner. It’s better to take a fixed portion on to the plate and not eat directly from the serving bowl. Do you know just 2 cookies or small biscuits more than your requirement in a day will make you put on 5 Kgs in a year and 25 Kgs in 5 years? So we need to take care of our serving sizes. 2. Increase the volume. Choose low-fat, high-fiber foods which fill you up with minimal calories. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes are high-volume foods that not only help trim your waistline but also provide nutrients essential for health. 3. Add fruits and vegetables to all your meals. Add one fruit or vegetable to every meal, and you'll be on your way to lower blood pressure and improved health. Try apples for breakfast, raw cucumber or carrots with lunch and fruit salad with dinner. 4. Hydrate yourself. Get a water bottle and carry it with you everywhere you go. You'll find yourself drinking water while you're driving, at your desk, during meetings and watching TV. Drinking water instead of coffee, soda, fruit punch or other sweetened beverages saves calories as it keeps your body functioning optimally. Drinking lukewarm water is even better. 5. Go Vegan majorly. Eat meatless meals for at least 5 days per week or more. Choose a paneer/mushroom curry instead of chicken or mutton curry, vegetable sandwich in place of a chicken sandwich, veggie burger instead of hamburger. You'll consume less fat and saturated fat, plus increase your fiber intake! 6. Enhance your Breakfast Studies show people who start the day with breakfast cereal have higher intakes of vitamins and fiber and lower intakes of fat and saturated fat. For the healthiest cereal, choose one with at least five grams of fiber and no more than eight grams sugar per serving. Pour on skim milk for a double bonus! 7. Don’t eat before the tube Stop eating meals while watching TV or snacking during your favorite show. Research plus common sense tells us we eat more when we're watching the tube. 8. Not 3 but 5. Have at least 5 small meals a day in place of 3 big ones to keep your metabolic rate high which in turn helps in weight loss. A good day’s diet should have small and frequent meals i.e.5 meals in the day rather than 3 big meals. We need to learn to have the Best Breakfast, Nutritious Midmorning snack, Good Lunch, Light Evening snack with beverage and an Early Dinner every day. 9. Pack your meals. Instead of buying lunch every day, or worse yet, skipping lunch altogether, pack your lunch as far as possible. Make a sandwich with whole grain bread, a chapatti roll with lots of veggies, salad like sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, and grated carrots. Add a piece of fresh fruit. Satisfy your sweet tooth with yogurt or fat-free pudding and your need for crunch with soya sticks, murmura ,almonds ,or may be just a little ‘saunf’(fennel seeds). You'll save money and eat less fat, salt and sugar. 10. Do not fast, do not feast. Neither skip meals nor have everything in one meal. We need to learn to eat when we are hungry & stop when sufficiently full. We need to learn to self-regulate.

See, upto 104 centigrade fever may be bearable but be cautious timing of fever and type. Ok or you may wash your hole body with normal water and follow normal home made food.
