Hi, There is an old-age saying - “Be happy and make others happy!” Follow this funda in your life and you will see the difference! Management: Include healthy, nutritious food, doing daily yoga or some kind of exercises. All these automatically reflects glow on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4 hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. Lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon, orange, gooseberry, etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, can notaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: Use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel or Bakson’s Fairness cream daily at night.

Hi Sir. M latha 23 years old kindly suggest me how to get rid with dark circles, m suffering this from so many days.
for treating dark circles around eyes *.Drinking lots of water is good. Keep hydrated by drinking water and preferring juicy fruits. *.Take nutritious and timely food. *.Avoid fried foods and eat fruits, nuts, greens, milk and whole grains. *.Have timely and adequate sleep. This is one of the major reasons for sagging of skin *.Be relaxed and avoid tension *.Daily jogging or such exercise to ensure good blood circulation which helps nutrients reaching the skin and face. Facial massage will also promote good circulation. *.Don’t expose to hot direct sun. Wear cap, full sleeve shirt and shoes which will protect you from sun.. Generally 10 AM to 4 PM is the hottest. Avoid exposure at that time. *. When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Keep hydrated by drinking water and preferring juicy fruits. Your complexion will improve and dark rings will disappear. For any further help Please inform

Hi, Do apply homoeopathic ointment - Berberis Aquefolium over the marks. For blackheads: Blackheads are initial stage of acne. Wash your face with Schwabe's Akne Sor soap, use cleanser, toner and moisturizer on your skin. Apply Bakson's Sunscreen before going out. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub on the areas, followed by Papaya or Apple pack on it. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 30 days. Home Remedy: Mix fuller's earth, almond powder and glycerin, then apply this face pack on your face affected with blackheads and whiteheads. Keep this face mask on for 30 minutes and do mild scrubbing while removing this mask to eradicate blackheads effectively.

Hello, there are various treatment for pigmentation marks. Like creams, chemical pees, lasers etc depending on depth. You can start initially on milder depigmentation creams which contain kojic acid, arbutin, niacinamide like Melaglow at night and use sunscreen three times a day. And depending on type of skin whether oily or dry you can choose a face wash. Consult a dermatologist.

Onset Of Monsoon - Skin Problems That Are Common During It!

Onset Of Monsoon - Skin Problems That Are Common During It!

The first drops of rain, the lush greenery, the landscapes all rain drenched - the monsoon makes it truly enchanting, bringing the best out of nature. While most of the people enjoy the monsoon, some people often end up being at the receiving end. The season can be quite punishing triggering a host of digestive and skin problems and infections. In this article, we will discuss some important tips to help keep your skin healthy and problem free during the monsoon.

Common dermatological problems synonymous with the monsoon:
The onset of monsoon may not be at all welcoming for the skin. With an increase in the humidity levels, fungal infections, intertrigo, ringworms, skin rashes, and irritation become inevitable. A study suggests that diabetic patients need to be extra careful as they stand a greater chance of suffering from skin infections and other related problems triggered by the monsoon. Mentioned below are some of the skin problems and infections that are often known to affect people during the monsoons:

  1. Eczema: It is a non-contagious dermatological condition characterized by skin inflammation, redness, and itchiness. The affected area of the skin also appears rough and cracked with the formation of blisters. Monsoon is known to act as a catalyst, aggravating the condition and the associated discomfort to a great extent. People with eczema or sensitive skin should be extra careful during the monsoon.
  2. Scabies: A contagious skin infection caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei (parasitic mites), scabies results in the appearance of a rash along with severe itching (which often worsens at night). The humidity and temperature fluctuations during the monsoons serve as a perfect environment for the mites to thrive. If left untreated, the condition will result in extreme discomfort.
  3. Athlete's foot: A contagious fungal infection that is known to affect the skin mostly around the feet, toenails (the fungus grows on the feet) causing itching and blisters formation. The affected skin and toenails appear rough, cracked, and at times, even discolored.

Effective measures to avoid the skin problems during the monsoon:
The following tips can go a long way to ward off the annoying the skin problems.

  • Practice a good personal hygiene. Keep yourself and your clothes (especially under garments) clean.
  • Keep yourself dry. Avoid staying in wet clothes for too long. Rain or no rain, keep a raincoat or an umbrella with you all the time.
  • As some of the skin problems are contagious, one should avoid sharing their clothes and personal belongings with others.
  • Your diet can also play a pivotal role in minimizing the incidences of skin infections. Avoid hot and spicy food. Instead, opt for more fruits (avoid mangoes, watermelon), vegetables, yogurt, almonds, garlic, brown rice, oats, to name a few.
  • Keep your body well hydrated. Sip water (preferably purified or boiled) at regular intervals.
  • The use of medicated soaps, antifungal and antibacterial creams and powder may be helpful.

Hello, the dry patches need to be assessed in severity to advise medicinal creams if required. To control dryness, please use a mild cleanser like Cetaphil or Moiz as facewash twice a day. Apply Elovera or Venusia moisturiser immediately after bath and in evening. Avoid hot water baths. Don't use Betnovate N without Dermatologist supervision since it is a steroid and gives side effects like skin thinning, acne, sun sensitivity etc when used for more than 2-3 weeks.
