How I solve my problem of blood come from nose? In summer I have bp low problem how I solve this problem.

PGDHHM, MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
To stop a nosebleed-- sit down and firmly pinch the soft part of your nose, just above your nostrils, for at least 10-15 minutes. If nose bleed is heavy or is posterior bleed or is due to injury. It needs evaluation. For low bp-- drink plenty of liquids to keep your self well hydrated. Take coffee at that time. Eat healthy diet. Hope this helps you.

My mother (65 yrs) underwent a minor surgery under GA. Post surgery, her voice became very weak. Surgeon dismissed it as throat infection. Now it is 6 months and still she cannot speak. After consulting ENT doctor, we were told that one voice box is damaged (stuck and not moving) due to Anesthetist being careless during surgery and we can wait and see if she recovers. Can she recover from this condition? How long would it take? Her voice is very low and shrill.

Putting the patient under general anaesthesia, while passing the laryngo tracheal tube with all the precautions, there is always a possibility of brushing the vocal chords and it may e the cause of the change in voice. The 2 chords are not approximating to their maximum, leaving a gap in between, causing failure of sound production. Forced exhalation in a closed container, like a bottle for some days may help in achieving some recovery. No harm in trying this. Opinion of a laryngo surgeon should be sought.

Dear Doctor, Please do advice me on nasal rhinitis/allergy.
Also on turbinate coblation.
Sir allergy can only be controlled by plenty of fluids, regular exercise and avoiding things that trigger your allergy. Coblation assisted turbinate reduction will help with the nasal blockage.

She most probably has fluid behind the ear drum. She can take T. Relent o.D once at night time for a week. Also use Otrivin nose drops followed by steam inhalation twice a day. If the problem persists, see an ENT specialist.

Sinus Problem and its treating method in Acupressure points:

Sinuses Problem and its Treatment in Acupressure
If you are plagued by sinus problems, take a moment to consider these valuable parts of your head. What can turn good sinuses into problem sinuses?

Your sinuses are hollow air spaces within the bones between your eyes, behind your cheekbone, and in the forehead. They produce mucus, which helps keep the inside of your nose moist. That, in turn, helps protect against dust, allergens, and pollutants.
Interesting Sinus Facts
No one is completely sure why we have sinuses, but some researchers think they keep the head from being too heavy.Sinuses are also are responsible for the depth and tone of your voice. This explains why you sound like Clint Eastwood when your sinuses are all stuffed up.If the tissue in your nose is swollen from allergies, a cold, or environmental triggers, it can block the sinus passages. Your sinuses can?t drain, and you may feel pain.

There are eight sinus cavities in total. They are paired, with one of each in the left and right side of the face. Two sinus cavities are located in the forehead. Two are behind each cheekbone. Two sinus cavities are within the bones between your eyes. Two are behind each eye.

After swimming I get water in my ear When I try to get it out with ear-bud my ear get hurt can you please advice.
Yes you are right, no need to clean your ears yourself, self cleaning is not recommended, if water entered into ears than there is no problem as this is the only mode of cleaning, just avoid letting soap water in the ears as this will create the problem,

My left ear is getting warm like there is something inside my ear generating heat often when I use the ear phones?
Obviously, this is because you are abusing your ears, using ear phones for one hour will raise bacterial count by 700 times, you will get infection of the ear, in rainy season this infection becomes more prevalent, in dry whether lke this you get heat.
