But I have a tendency of gas ,acidity and sometimes it comes upward. recently my usg has been done. It is found that there is a 3.3 mm polyp on my gallbladder. I went to a md, general physician, he said. It is nothing worry. Sometimes I suffer from breathing difficulties. I have tendency to be very tensed and anxious over a little thing. Doctor said due to upward gas or over tensed mentality the problem of difficulty may arise. I take eslotel2. 5 for bloodpressure. Please advice me regarding my heart and polyp.

Dear sir What is the difference between bypass surgery nd stent placement in heart?

Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MBBS

Dear sir
What is the difference between bypass surgery nd stent placement in heart?
Sent is also called baloon intervention, it's not a surgery in the real sense, a device is passed through a major blood vessel of body and blockages in blood vessels giving blood to heart are cleared, in bypass surgery, blood vessels are taken from legs or arms are grafted and connected to major blood vessels supplying blood to entire body bypass rout is created for blood to flow smoothly to entire body and yes it is a major surgery but with advanced technology, there is nothing to fear by both procedures.

Dear lybrate-user, congratulations for quitting cigarettes. The earlier you decide to quit, the easier it is. Just as you did it now, start watching out for relapsing situations, like with smoking friends, parties, exam time, result time, loneliness etc. Whatever you are thinking about recovery method are good for your age. Before you overdo it, why don't you get x ray chest, ecg and pulmonary function test and post a question online to doctor all the best and congratulations once again.

Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega 3 pills

If you have a heart disease, high cholesterol or a family history of heart problems, then you need to increase your intake of foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

These healthy fatty acids help lower triglycerides (fats in the blood) and prevent angina. Plus, due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, omega-3 fats have a profound effect on heart health.

You stop smoking as this is due to smoking best age to stop smoking is before 40, in fact do not start all only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, chewing tobacco or drinking or using drugs avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum, like nicorette and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. You can chew nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. Which can be prescribed if asked personally cigarette smoking is a leading preventable cause of mortality.

osteoarthritis is a common problem at this age. patients should take calcium and vit d in the required amount, continue to walk as complete immobility worsens the problem. use western toilet (guthne mod kar na baithen). there are certain medications that can help but if the gap is big and he has severe osteoarthritis surgery will help.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. you should be avoid bad habits ,fatty meal/oily foods/junk/fast foods/alcohol/smoking/noo-veg. take whole grain meal/oats/dalia/green veg./fruits/juice/ use garlic . you can take also cap. ecosprin gold-10 at night. and consult cardiologist.
