I find this one the hardest! Caffeine is a diuretic, which makes you urinate out more liquid than you take in causing dehydration. Dehydration of your body and hair roots is another key reason for hair loss. Replace your daily coffee intake with a fruit beverage, milk or any other non-caffeinated drink to those shiny and healthy hair.

One should avoid eating certain food and edible items completely to control falling of hair. Consuming nicotine, alcohol, caffeine and sugar can result in lowering of nutrient level your body drastically. If the teeth is erupted completely its simple to extract, so a dentist is more than enough, and no complication at all. But should be careful if you are diabetic or any other medical problems.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have got multiple problems for which you actually need to see a general physician. For your spine pain, - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc in case you are having back pain. For a healthy weight increase Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

First you do health check ups and follow these. Do muscle building exercise like weight lifting, push ups, yoga etc. Increase eating frequently. Do not skip meals. Avoid fast foods as far as possible. Use whole cream milk. Add high calorie foods like ghee, butter etc. Take dense vegetables. Whole fruits. Eat extra fish, egg, meat to get muscular body. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Take quality sleep.

Hi Doc, I have been suffering from an anxiety disorder with intrusive thoughts rendering more anxiety. I do not feel sad or depressed at all, I get random intrusive thoughts in unexpected situations, for example if am in a work meeting in a conference hall, I get a sudden intrusive thought which is" what if I say something abusive / offensive to my superior" and this thought although irrational triggers some anxiety and then there is that fear of having an anxiety attack which is whats more intense. I am PERFECTLY normal when the thought fades off or after we step out of the room. Please help me understand the nature of this problem. I have never acted upon my intrusive thoughts but the intense anxiety is troubling.

It is common problem and this is human psychology as our past experiences reflect on current mental status. Do any meditation process which you know is bonafide and can help you. Drink cow's milk in night as this is proven to improve clarity of thought sequence in mind. Avoid foods which are too spicy,oily, and bitter. Dear , sleep disturbance is often a first symptom of stress/depression/anxiety. Kindly see the following questions:- 1. Do you enjoy the pleasurable things like watching favourite tv serial or music as you used to enjoy earlier? 2. Do you like talking to others or you prefer to be alone now a days? 3. Do you feel sad most of the time and think negative about future? 4. Do you have enough sound sleep, do you feel fresh at morning? 5. Do you ever think yourself guilty of whatever wrong happened to you? 6. Do you feel yourself devoid of energy always? 7. Do you have lost concentration in job/ confidence in self? if more than 03 of the above answer are in yes in your case then you appears to be stressed and depressed.
