Does smoking effects our skin color and face or it raises in breathing problem? Please advise.

Does smoking effects our skin color and face or it raises in breathing problem? Please advise.
Smoking does both. It affects your skin causing wrinkles and skin discoloration. Smoking is a habit that uses the respiratory system to ingest the substance, theregore the lungs are immediately affected and therefore the breathing. Also the carbon monoxide i cigarette smoke reduces he hemoglobin in the blood which reduces the oxygen carrying capacity and you can get easily breathless with minor effort. The smoke has more than 4000 substances and most of them are very harmful. It is a very bad habit, period.

frequent/ continuous cough cold may be because of many reasons like: 1. Any ent problem like dns polyp sinusitis 2. Low immunity 3. He has asthma. He is suffering from serious breathing problem. Suggest best medicine.

MD Pulmonolgy, DNB
Pulmonologist, Bangalore
Serious breathing problem suggests an exacerbation of asthma or poorly controlled asthma. Steroids are the best drugs to control the inflammation and bronchodilators to prevent chest tightness and wheezing. Oral steroids and nebulization with duolin are to be used for one week, followed by a combination of inhalational steroid and bronchodilators are to be used for maintenance.
