I am diabetic. I do excercise daily for about more than a hour including running for about 25 minutes, cycling etc. At the moment I am taking 2 tablets of ganesh goli by ray pharmacy for more than a month. My reading is from 170 to 190 after taking reading 2 hours from morning breakfast. My weight is 70 kg. And height is 5.8. Taking ginger powder, cinamon powder, flex seed and methi every day. Please advise.?

great to know that you are exercising, running and cycling. I am also a running enthusiast, I participate in marathons. Well looking at your sugar readings, I would advise you to start tab k - met 500 mg twice a day, it will help you to control sugar levels. After taking the tablets for a week or ten days check the levels and continue the treatment. All the best.

Dear lybrate-user, It is really sad to see your mom dementing. It is difficult for your dad or you to care for her. If you call for dementia care NGOs, like Nightingale trust, they will help you of a nursing aid, either day or night or 24 hours. There are about 5 day care and one 24 hours care home in Bangalore exclusively for people living with dementia. There are self help groups like Alzheimer disease society who meet at regular intervals, as support group for care givers like your dad and you. Please get all the information about contacting them from the internet.

Hello, black teeth could be because of stains or deposits on your teeth or food lodged in your teeth. Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done. Remedial exercises 

Backache is a complex problem. It has multifactorial aetiology. There are many exercises that are used as an adjunct to its treatment. Here, some of the exercises useful in the management of backache are described. It is not a complete list. Many more can be added to it. As a matter of fact white charting out the exercise programme for an individual suffering from backache; one should take into account the exact cause of backache, age, the built of the body and even the mental attitude of the patient. The exercises should be done slowly and increased gradually. During exercise, sudden jerks should be avoided. Most of the cases of backache fortunately settle down with simple remedial exercises.

Some of the cases do not respond satisfactorily. It is these -who pose a baffling problem. Many methods have been tried in the past & new ones are being discovered with the hope that this oldest problem of mankind  the aching back, the most common yet intractable, is solved.

The actual treatment of backache lies in the therapeutic exercises only 

They act by:

Hi remember one thing avoid dieting, running for weight loss, cause dieting will help you loose some weight but after some period you wil put on double weight. Tips for weight loss. 1. 1.Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, 2.Reduce weight if overweight 3Control diet a) Avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) Avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango,litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (Akhrot) e) Avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/Jowar/Ragi, moong and chana Dal. It must be a kind of fungal infections, most common infections found in skin , they are little difficult to remove bcz they remain in the skin where blood supply is very little, so it will take time to remove. Hello, first of all you should start taking a healthy and balanced diet. Hair fall is a result of any deficiency of any essential nutrient. *Eat colourful fruits and green leafy vegetables. *Include more protien rich supplements to your diet. *Take phosphorus 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. *wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. *Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. *Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) *Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. *Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, daily morning. Dear user. PENILE PAIN could be due to Infections or inflammation of the bladder or prostate can also result in penile pain. Trauma, persistent erection (priapism), cancers, and Peyronie's disease (the development of scar tissue within the penis) are other causes. Sickle cell anemia may cause priapism due to blockages of small blood vessels in the penis. I suggest you to consult a doctor for physical investigation. Take care.

Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning and evening. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Include more fruits, sprouts and vegetables in your diet. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Take small and frequent meals.
