U may have muscular pain/cervical spondylitis. Get x-ray of cervical spine_ap/lateral done. Revert Cardiac pain is less likely.

Hello start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Interval. 2) do not lift heavy weights or twist your spine 3) do not wear high heals do not ignore your back pain and do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the.

My father aged 73 years has severe knee pain while walking and accumulation of some kind of fluid above knee. Once the fluid was removed and tested. Fluid report was O. K. Doctors are not advising any knee surgery right now but have told to do physiotherapy and have given some gel vivoran for application. And also told to continue with some exercises. Is it O. K to continue with this treatment and will he get relief over a period.

Yes dear he can continue with it and you can also do fomentation with it. It will be helping hand. Do dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - some blood tests like serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp help in better diagnosis of such condition. 1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Don't lift heavy things. 5. Don't do forward bending. 6. Do hot fermentation twice a day 7. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 8. Take calcium vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

Hello, you seem to have either feet strain or planter fascitis. Do contrast bath (hot and cold water fomentation in two buckets---1 minute each in hot and cold) for 15-20 minutes. And apply a pain killer gel. Take a pain killer tab for 5-7 days. Use a soft foot-were. Once the pain is controlled. Go to a physio. And learn exercises for feet. You will settle. Take care.

Numbness in general can be due to: - compression in nerves at the level of spine - vascular cause but that is normally associated with severe pain - underlying systemic diseases like diabetes or any affliction which can cause a neuropathy but common cause at your age is spine. So elaborate your back pain, leg pain, numbness in legs, paresthesias in legs etc also please tell me how much distance can you walk before you start feeling these symptoms? have you got x rays and mri of your lower back done? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Sir I have pain in back from 2 years I have mri report but no nuro problem but I lift some more weight so Dr. Say stretch in muscles. Sir there is continuous pain in back and when pain is more then pain in leg bone difficult to walk sometimes. I consulted Dr. Again he advised for exercise. Morning stiffness in back &other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take bio d3 max 1tab odx10days ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain ie. Due to the nerve compression.

Respected lybrate-user hi backache is related to hormonal changes. Blood in stool may be due to drug induced or constipation related. Don't take medi on empty stomach always take after meals with milk. Avoid all oily spicy stuffs avoid hard stool dear you will be ok thanks regards consult for any further queries.
